34 Chapter 32

Outer space.

A space station named after a genius floated quietly. The achievements of the 83rd seats in the Genius Society are many, and for the vast majority of scientific staff, her achievements are inexhaustible.

At this stage, all that Herta cares about most is undoubtedly the simulated universe placed in the office. Proposed by her, four peerless geniuses jointly researched the holographic universe created in order to understand the logic of an Aeon behavior.

At this time.

Stelle stood in front of Herta with a helpless face, constantly nodding to a genius who kept on rambling about things.

"Maybe it's just like Asta said, no one likes to be followed by a puppet, he's probably just tired of being with me all the time, so he probably went out and relax."

"But even so, breaking the contract is inconceivable!"

Stelle helplessly nodded her head again, then she added, "Indeed, but if you can't find him, it's best wait for him to return…."

"Can't do." Herta rejected almost immediately with a frown, "Observation requires rigor, once he leaves today, it will be difficult to explain any changes that happens around him when he returns."

Stelle on the other hand simply shrugged, honestly, to her, studying something as abstract as luck or miracles is like a castle in the air, and in the end, it's impossible to understand.

That's when.

Herta besides her suddenly froze, the puppets eyes lighting up, "Wait, he's back, I'll let this puppet offline first."

Hearing this, Stelle was stunned, she pointed to her nose and asked, "What about me?"

Herta simply glanced at her: "Just enter the simulated universe, rest assured, I will pay attention to this place at any time, there will be no accident." After speaking, her eyes became expressionless.

Stelle: "…."

Meanwhile.

Adonis Bedroom.

Herta's puppet suddenly came online as it stood up from the chair it was sitting, glancing towards Adonis that was entering the room with a bored expression.

Adonis then paused, seeing Herta looking at him.

He blinked.

Herta on the other hand was speechless, 'Is that a quantum gate?' Before he entered, or rather she had planned on asking where he went to, but now her eyes narrowed solemnly.

Retracting the words that she had wanted to say, she asked instead, "What did you go to do?"

The original question was supposed to be 'Where did you go,' which was akin to demanding from him, where he had been all this time.

But the question she was asking now was because of the changes in Adonis she sensed.

It has obviously been only about 10 hours since he disappeared, but now, the vibe Herta felt Adonis was giving off was different. 'He's changed…. Drastically.'

She felt it.

The previous Adonis, though his personality was good, as far as she had observed along with some other good qualities, she hadn't felt much from him. She still felt he was…... ordinary, even comparing him to Cocolia, Bronya and the rest.

But now.

It's different.

Standing in front of him made her remember her first two first to the Erudite venerable, the Intellectual Aeon. Nous.

[T/L: I was tempted to put Galia behind the Nous XD.]

Carefully considering it, Herta felt the overwhelming sensation she initially experienced was gradually fading, almost as if it were a figment of her imagination.

However, she couldn't shake the thought that perhaps she was deceiving herself, convincing herself that her initial feelings were an illusion.

But despite the doubt, Herta clung to it. Even if it was momentary, she held onto it firmly.

to what she felt when she was in the presence of the Intellectual Aeon, Nous.

As absurd as it may seem and sound, a strange idea began to take root in her mind: 'Could it be that this man who left for half a day, encountered a miracle again, then somehow ascended?'

'No!'

Herta shook away her thoughts, her assumptions were also equally unreasonable.

When an Aeon is born, a new path specific to that Aeon emerges, although it may not be immediately apparent, everyone would eventually sense the changes.

In this case, there was no indication of any new path, and none of the geniuses in the society had reached out to her nor has words spread.

He couldn't possibly be an Aeon. So why was he exuding an aura that so closely resembled that of an Aeon?

'What is going on here?' She thought.

Countless thought filled her mind, even with her genius intellect, she couldn't understand this man in front of her.

"Oh?" Adonis voice now brought her back to, "Let's see then, if you guess where I went to, I'll personally give you a reward." He simply said lightly.

Adonis glanced at the familiar room and the Herta puppet before him, a small smile forming on his lips. Then, he shifted his gaze back to the window.

'It's not dusk yet, they should still be in the office,' Adonis mused as he tidied up his clothes a little then walked out of the room towards his office.

Of course, Herta followed behind silently, there were still countless doubts in her heart, she knew what questions to ask, and what questions she would not get answers to.

Instead of asking bluntly, it is better to honestly follow him and observe his actions as a basis for analysis.

Adonis on the other hand, had stopped in front, then suddenly turned his head to look at the Herta puppet, he then sighed a little, "Offline again? Sure enough, a puppet with no sentience is boring."

[T/L: Bro raised a flag himself XD]

Shaking his head, he picked up his pace again. Autonomous Herta Puppet on the other hand couldn't help but tilt her head as she followed behind, she clearly didn't understand what this man meant.

She honestly had no choice but to follow him.

...

Opening the door to the office.

Bronya, who had been immersed in her paperwork, immediately looked up upon seeing Adonis walk in. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she greeted him, "Lord Guardian, you're back."

Adonis nodded with a chuckle and approached her desk. He reached out his hand, and sacks containing seeds and saplings fell out from his quantum space.

Upon seeing this, Bronya tilted her head and asked, "Umm... This is?"

Adonis responded casually, "Seeds for trees..."
