Jarlio-Vi.

A planet buried in ice and snow.

Further inside.

Belobog. Qliphoth Fort.

Adonis, the 19th Guardian, sat in his chair facing the window, gazing at the white snow outside. 

He leaned back, letting out a faint sigh. 

Adonis, a twenty-year-old young man with shoulder-length black hair tied in a short ponytail, possessed blue eyes and wore a regal long-sleeved blue and white outfit paired with sleek black trousers.

A year ago, Adonis had suddenly appeared in this world, summoned directly to Jarlio-Vi, a planet within the world of Honkai: Star Rails. Upon his arrival, he had gained a unique power called [Miracle]. 

As the name implied, miraculous events seemed to follow him wherever he went. After laboring in the upper district for a month, he caught the attention of the Aeon of Preservation, and through a series of coincidences, he ascended to become the 19th Great Guardian of Belobog.

Adonis found himself in a situation where he had no choice but to accept the unusual events unfolding around him. 

Since becoming the Great Guardian, positive changes had taken place in Jarlio Six. 

The once harsh environment was gradually improving, with snow and ice beginning to melt in certain areas. 

Adonis couldn't say for sure if this transformation was solely due to the effects of [Miracle] or if there were other forces at play. What remained a mystery to him was how he had come to possess this power in the first place.

Currently holding the title of Great Guardian, Adonis had the former Great Guardian as his assistant. 

Although Adonis had some prior experience with Star Rails, he only remembered the essential elements of the game. 

Beyond diligently following the main storyline, he hadn't delved much into the game's lore.

Adonis had managed to overthrow Cocolia, but her survival meant that things might not unfold exactly as they did in the original storyline. 

He understood that solving all of Belobog's problems at once might not be the best course of action, so he intentionally left certain issues unattended to. 

Adonis himself remained uncertain about the extent of his own strength.

Cocolia was not even enough playmate for him.

Perhaps the arrival of everyone on the Astral Express would reveal the full extent of his abilities.

While lost in thought, a knock echoed at his door. 

"Come in," Adonis responded, adjusting his sitting position. Entering his office was a silver-maned guard, who respectfully addressed Adonis with a bow of his head.

"Great Guardian, Commander Jepard has encountered a group of individuals claiming to be from outside the planet in the snowfield on the outskirts of the city."

"Oh?" Hearing this, Adonis adjusted himself, a small smile on his face, "Interesting, lead them in."

With that, Adonis leaned back in his chair, setting aside his pen and paperwork, and patiently waited for their arrival.

As he was waiting...

[Ding! Congratulations on joining the "Thousand Worlds Chat Group."]

"Huh?" Adonis tilted his head to the side, a puzzled expression on his face. "A group chat? At this point?"

Adonis was genuinely surprised, but he quickly regained his composure. He closed his eyes, allowing his consciousness to drift. Soon, a blue panel appeared in his mind, resembling the interface of a messaging app.

[Star Rails - Great Guardian Adonis has joined the Chat Group.]

The notification disappeared, and messages from various usernames started popping up.

[Angelbeat - Kanade: Welcome....] 

[Sakuraso pet girl - Shiina: This newcomer has the prefix of Great Guardian.... Seems like a bigshot to me.] 

[Guilty Crown - Inori: @Great Guardian Adonis. Which world are you from?] 

[K - Anna: I'm curious too.]

[Nier - 2A: Wait for me to search for information, I don't know if there is any in the database, wait a minute…. Heh, I found it, there really is, the Great Guardian, from a game called "Star Rail," equivalent to a king, but there is Great Guardian Adonis in it.]

Adonis let out a sigh as he glanced at the chat group. It was clear that he wasn't an original resident of this world, but the names in the chat intrigued him. 

They were all quite familiar, especially with the tags in front of their names: Angel Beat, Sakuraso no Pet na Kanojo, Guilty Crown, K, Nier—these tags were associated with characters he knew well from his original world.

Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats, Masahiro Shiina from Sakuraso, Inori Yuzuriha from Guilty Crown, Anna Kushina from K, and 2A from Nier—all these female characters were beautiful waifus Adonis was intimately familiar with from his previous world. 

It was a surreal experience to find them here.

In addition to himself, there were only these five members and the bot [Xiaoxiao]. There was no group owner or administrator; the group seemed to be managed by this small group of characters.

Adonis noticed some rules in the announcement, which were straightforward: no explicit pictures, no offensive language, or else you'd face a ban. The ban duration could range from an hour to as long as a year. 

Following that, there was a channel where members could check-in to earn points and engage with the group.

[Sakuraso - Shiina: Great Guardian? Like a Ruler and all?]

[Angelbeat - Kanade: Sister 2A said that there is nobody named Adonis in the Great Guardian records, what's going on?]

[Guilty Crown - Inori: @Great Guardian Adonis]

[Nier - A2: Eh? I don't know, it could be that something has happened, and somehow, @Great Guardian Adonis is on his seat.]

Adonis, after scanning through the function, returned to the chat room and saw the above statement, with a light chuckle.

[Star Rails - Adonis: No need to be grand, just call me Adonis, as for answers to your questions, things happened, and somehow, I found myself on the position.]

[Anna Kushina: Is that so?]

[Group tip: Group member A2 uploaded the game "Honkai: Star Rail." Group member A2 uploaded data "Jarlio-Vi", and the data "Great Guardian".]

[Angelbeat - Kanade: A new content? Pardon my intrusion.]

[K - Anna Kushina: Diving~]

[Nier - 2A: Are you perhaps the 20th Grand Guardian, or the 19th Great Guardian?]

[Star Rails - Adonis: I'm the 19th I believe.]

[Guilty - Inori: Then…. Is the data about the 19th Grand Guardian, Bronya, false? Is sister A2 data wrong?]

[Star Rails – Adonis: …...]

Adonis couldn't help but find it amusing that the responsibility of spoiling people's futures had seemingly fallen on 2A. He didn't have any objections to it, though. 

What did surprise him was the fact that A2 had "Star Rails" in her database. That was unexpected.

Furthermore, Adonis hadn't anticipated the group's curiosity to be so intense. He decided that, for now, he wouldn't reveal himself as someone from another world. 

There was no need to do so at this moment, and perhaps the right time would present itself in the future.

Just as he was contemplating this, a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. "Great Guardian, pardon my intrusion," a voice announced.

"Come on in," Adonis replied, straightening up. In walked Jepard, accompanied by three familiar individuals: March Seven, Dan Heng, and Stella, the female Galaxy Baseball player.

"Welcome, visitors from the outside world," Adonis greeted them warmly.
