Honkai Impact: Invictus.

A man who lived without direction in his life. No dreams, no aspirations. Day after day, just living aimlessly bored to death in his mind. What if I could just live like one of those busybody protags. Troublesome, but, at least I would truly live. Hi guys, I just really love the characters of HI3 and I think mihoyo did them dirty lmao. I'll try to make a sort of happy ending, because, this is depression impact.

Side Story 3: Sweet Rain

Ein and Kaeya entered the headquarters of the knights of Favonius. "Wait here traveller. I'll talk to the acting grand master in a jiffy." He entered a room as Ein waited in the lobby.

He just sat on air and crossed his arms. "Hah, I don't want to get in trouble here. And killing them all isn't an option." He weighed his choices and a slightly dangerous thought lingered in his mind. Of just creating an earthquake or a volcano exploding in the middle of the city. But he quickly ended that thought.

After some time, the door opened and he entered. He saw a blonde that looked similar to one of his wives as she sat on the center of the room while stacks of paperwork were on it.

"Hello traveller, may I know your name? I am Jean Gunnhildr, the acting grand master of the knighthood. Pleased to meet you." She gave a slight smile and stood up to give him a handshake.

"I'm Ein, pleased to meet you too... Friend." As he looked at Kaeya and squinted his eyes a bit. As he started to get annoyed. He had better things to do after all, like tasting everything here. Ahem, finding the twins. As he felt Lumine, but Aether wasn't in this plane of existence. Still alive though.

"Ara~ Fufufu~ what a handsome man you brought here Kaeya. I am Lisa Minci, a humble librarian. Pleased to meet you dear~" She bowed slightly, showing her deep cleavage at him as he nodded at her with indifference.

"Hmmm, now that pleasantries are out of the way. Start asking questions please, I have things to do you see?" He gave an ultimatum, and decided to exercise his human rights. If they retaliate? Well...

"Ahhh, don't be so tense Ein! I already told you, we're quite the friendly bunch. And we just want to make sure you're fine here in Mondstadt." Kaeya still had his fake smile and played his mind games.

Ein sighed as he sat on a chair and waited for Jean to talk. "Sorry Ein. Kaeya had informed us about an interesting individual you see? We would just like to ask where you came from."

"I came from another continent, and how I came here? I went all." He took a deep breath as they silently waited. "LEEEROYYYYY JENKINSSSS." The group got silent and they all looked at him weirdly.

Lisa chuckled. "Kaeya, you sure did brought a unique one here." As Kaeya gained his wits and looked at Jean. "Ahem, we don't know what that means Ein. Can you please elaborate?"

Ein then adopted a thinking pose. "How do I say this... No." He then took out some tea as he sipped it slowly.

Jean and Kaeya's brows twitched a bit. As she sighed heavily. "I see, well. I would just like to say welcome to Mondstadt, I wish you enjoy your stay here." She quickly made a decision to not pursue anything as she felt his mood drop quickly. And he wasn't going to reply to their questions properly.

"Adieu. Nice friend you have here Kaeya. She sure is smarter than you." He tapped his shoulder and went close to his ear. "Because she clearly lets sleeping dogs lie." He whispered and quickly went out of the room.

After a moment, Lisa narrowed her eyes as she looked at the door. "He's not normal, that's for sure. He doesn't have a vision. I don't feel any and saw one. But he can control space, that much I could infer." As she gave her insights to the other 2 inside the room.

"He really is someone special huh?" He looked at his hand and it was trembling. When he whispered, he felt chills on his spine.

"Don't antagonize him Kaeya. He clearly doesn't have any bad intent on Mondstadt. Based on your report, he really acted like a tourist." Jean gave her orders.

"Well. He knew I was watching him from the very start, so that point might be moot. Though I won't observe him again, that's for sure." He sighed as a potentially dangerous guy was roaming around, and when things aren't too good as well.

Ein got outside and decided to buy a map. He saw that there were 7 major countries in this continent. He read their summaries as one caught his eye. "Liyue? They are governed by merchants huh? A capitalist country then. Maybe I'll see something good over there." He then decided to go there at the break of dawn, as he thought of what kind of specialties would be there, being a central hub for merchants and trade.

He then slept like a baby, excited about travelling through this world.

At the crack of dawn, he quickly got outside and went to Liyue. He went to the planes and flew at a leisurely pace.

He then entered the place as he saw a harbor. There was a blue haired girl with horns there, enjoying a salad and the cool morning air. "It's so nice to destress~" She enjoyed the soft rays of sun light, relaxing.

He went up to her and said hi. "Hello, I'm a traveller and I've just arrived here. What's your name? I'm Ein." She looked at him and didn't expect that someone would talk to her.

"Ahh. I'm Ganyu Ein-san. Welcome to Liyue, the city of contracts." She smiled at him, as she thought that tourists exploring Liyue was always welcome.

"Ooh, this city's title has a nice ring to it. I'm from a far away land, but are your horns special? I have a pair as well you see?" He was interested on why she has horns, as she didn't have any honkai genes. This world doesn't have it after all.

She hid her horns and looked at him weirdly. "You have a pair? I don't see them though." He chuckled and made them appear, as she looked in wonder on how he does that.

"How can you hide them?" Her mind then raced. Is he an adeptus? Or a god? But that's impossible, There's no records of an adeptus like him. And he also said that he was from a far away land, that means he isn't blessed by Rex Lapis.

"I'm just different I guess?" He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry if I'm rude, but can I ask if you're an illuminated beast? If you are, then what kind?" She asked gently, as her question might be kind of insensitive.

"Illuminated beasts? I don't know what is that. But if I had to say what am I? I'll say a human of course. Is that what you are? Is it some kind of mythical beast or something?" She nodded and pointed to her horns.

"I'm a Qilin, though only half though. And I'm confused, how can you be a human? You clearly aren't?" He laughed as she was technically right.

"Hmm, I'm some kind of reptile then. Let's just leave it at that." He then thought that he might get some privileges if he didn't hide his horns here.

"Ohh, though I would advise you to keep them hidden. As they are considered sacred here in Liyue." She smiled wryly as he might be the talk of the town immediately.

He weighed the pros and cons. But he just said fuck it and decided to use it to his advantage. "Well, it isn't that much trouble. Just some gossip here and there, and it feels more natural for me anyways."

Ganyu nodded and chuckled. "Yes, I understand. For Qilins, our horns are very sensitive and it is important to us physically, and mentally."

He had a glint on his eye as he thought that it might be similar to Mei's horns. "Ohhhh? So it's sensitive huh? Must be tough, as people would always ask you to touch it or something." As Ganyu sighed at his words.

"They mistake it for an ornament most of the time. And it is much better for me... Look at the time Ein-san, I must return to my duties. I welcome you to Liyue, please enjoy your stay here." She bowed gracefully.

"Thanks for entertaining me Ganyu. Though just one last question, this is a capitalist, I mean a nation that is dominated by trade right? Where can I try and be a merchant? I have some sweet things to sell you see."

She was surprised at his words, she then smiled. "I guess you'll be at my care? I am the secretary of the Qixing you see? And I'll await for your success."

He smiled at her as well. "Ohhh? Then please do take care of me, you can touch my horns in exchange." He laughed as they said their goodbyes and she went off.

"Hmm, what a nice girl. I guess I'll get some mora 1st." He made plans to be the richest guy here in Liyue, as he quite liked the atmosphere here. He could just make tons of mora, but he would collapse the economy.

As he went to file his new business and would start to dominate the economy of Liyue.
