Side Story 2: A Whole New World

Ein was playing with the kids and blasting them with water, as it is now summer.

Two girls who look alike, with flowing blond hair that were platinum silver at the ends started their counterattack, as one of them chanted. "Sacred lance! Removing restraints..." She held a lance on her hand that glowed gold. Spiralling with energy as she aimed at him. "Rhongomyniad!" A thick golden beam then was released from her hand as he absorbed the energy, or the neighboring city would get destroyed.

Her twin brandished a golden sword and raised it up in the air. As energy rippled around and started to converge. "Ex...Calibur!" She swung it down as a large, but thin energy that resembled a sword was released. He blocked it sneakily as well as he dropped down to the ground. He then fell down dramatically. "Argh! You've defeated me today, but I'll come back!" He did an exaggerated villain monologue.

A girl with green hair then spoke. "Daddy always say to double tap." As golden ripples appeared behind her back. Multiple weapons started to appear as she floated in the sky, she held a weird looking weapon that had red runes all over it as it started to spin.

A red haired girl then grasped a black swordspear that glowed violet as she pointed it at him. "Daddy! Prepare yourself! With this single strike. I shall inflict extinction." Immense heat started to melt the ground, but he contained it immediately. So there won't be cataclysmic explosions and damages.

Another one with long gray hair with silver highlights brandished a red spear that looked ominous as it glowed crimson. "A fine warrior indeed. I'll give you an end fitting for yourself."

She spun it around with amazing dexterity and grace as she prepared to throw it, her shoulders and back tensed, then she shouted. "Your heart is pierced, the target hit as I declare. Gáe Bolg!" It flew straight like an arrow right at the target, which was the center of his chest. As it left a trail of crimson light.

"It is time for judgment. My Sword of Rupture tears apart the world. Take this! Enuma Elish!" The weapon converged energy at the tip as it contracted to a small ball. Then a huge wave of dark red energy washed over the surroundings.

"Be reduced to cinders! Vashavi Shakti!" Golden energy rained down from the swordspear as it looked like rays of the sun that would melt the world.

"Kekeke~ Guhahaha! Muda da! Za warudo!" He stopped time and their attacks or they'll cause untold damage. He then decreased their power and resumed time, the multitude of attacks then fizzled out.

"Daddy's not fair! He won't let us win." They all pouted as they threw a fit. "How about, if losers receive... Some ice cream?" He took out massive tubs of ice cream that were definitely in an industrial size.

Everybody's eyes shone as they cheered and went to eat some ice cream. He sighed as he took a seat. "Kids have so much energy man." He was about to relax, but he felt a pull. He quickly remembered about the genetic make up of the twins. And they both disappeared in the plane of existence for some time, meaning that someone disassembled them.

"Hmmm. It's been 50 thousand years. Did they appear in a hostile environment? I guess I'll pay them a visit." He felt bad that he forgot about the twins that got lost in the quantum sea. He then decided to find them there and give them some sweet gifts like a noble phantasm or something. Or just better weapons in general, as he quickly gained his wits and giving people noble phantasms are very very dangerous.

"Kids! I'll be going for a business trip. Don't make your moms too worried okay?" He patted them one by one as they raised their hands. "M'kay!" He put a hand on his chest as he almost got a heart attack from their cuteness.

He then opened a portal and teleported to the bubble universe where he felt them. He appeared at some plains where he saw a medieval town. With the walls and all, he breathed in some air as he then walked. Seeing all the scenery. "Woah, this place is nice... Though why is there a shell of energy in this world?" He saw a barrier high up in the sky, approximately hundreds of kilometers above. He shrugged and didn't care as he walked to the town like an isekai protag.

"Oh shit, isn't this a generic isekai trope? Maybe the guards are idiots and try to extort me or something?" He then started to get excited. As he would like to act like a young master and slap them with some gold bars.

It was a clean and nice looking city that had windmills. He chuckled at the sight, used to all the cool and futuristic gadgets. He might be called a heretic here if he took some out he thought. As he saw a cathedral at the upper area.

"Hello traveller! You're new here! I'm Lawrence, where you come from?" Ein was surprised by the friendliness of the guards. As he got disappointed at not being able to act like a young master.

"Yo. I'm from a foreign continent. Pretty new hear, and I just travelled here to sightsee. My name's Ein by the way." He quickly made a background as he had a backpack on for some props.

"Ooh, then welcome to the city of freedom Mondstadt. Come on and explore then, the inn is just right over there." Ein quickly thanked him and went inside.

He was fascinated by the different kinds of ores and plants. They weren't like the ones from his universe that's for sure. And while he was wandering around. He then saw a cute girl that he can only describe as someone cosplaying a magical girl appeared.

She eyed him suspiciously as she went up to him. "You're not from here... I cannot read your fate. You are surely unusual." She sized him up as he almost laughed with her looking up at him, as he was really tall. And she reminded him of Aponia's fate shenanigans.

"Well, I'm new here. So you won't know me of course. Name's Einheri, call me Ein." He gave her his hand for a handshake as she grasped it and shook it.

"I am Astrologist Mona Megistus, meaning The Great Astrologist Mona. If it is divination you seek from me, then I ask you respect my name by learning it wholly, here and now." She puffed up her chest as she had a smug look on her face. He cringed from her introduction as he thought that this was really an isekai world.

The girl's stomach then rumbled as she turned an atomic red. "Th-that's just the wind. Yes, the wind. This is the city of wind after all." She quickly made excuses as he laughed at her.

"Aahhh... Mona, how about we go and eat? I want to try the cuisine over here. My treat? Oh, by the way. I don't have the currency over here, can I exchange things with gold or something?"

She quickly perked up from his words as she tilted her head. "You don't have any mora? Weird, you must be really not from here then. Let's go! Quickly!" She lead him to a shop so they could exchange things for mora, as her eyes almost bulged out of her eye socket from the amount of gold he has. He was now loaded as hell.

They entered a tavern and quickly got some food as he was really interested on how the local cuisine that was made by unfamiliar ingredients tasted like. "You not gonna eat?" She was munching on her food as she saw him scrutinizing his plate.

"I will, don't worry. I'm just quite curious." As he noticed that some things weren't quite different, though for some reason. The produce looked absolutely top grade.

He was surprised when he tasted it, as it tasted as good as it looked. As plates piled up on their table, he tried everything that he could, as eyes were on them. Mona was gobsmacked at him being able to stuff his face with that much food. But was puzzled on how he could eat with so much grace and poise. She then started to sweat as this guy might be some kind of royalty or a noble. He looked unnaturally beautiful, his platinum silver hair is long, but shiny and radiant. It was even better than her own. His skin like fine jade, without a single blemish. (Ein jade beauty confirmed)

"Hey Mona, you have adventurer guilds here right?" He wanted to register to be a pokemon master (cough) an adventurer.

"Yes, there's one. I'll show it to you later, it's the least I could do for you treating me." She said with an embarrassed face.

"Haha why so shy? Why were you so hungry in the 1st place? You look well off, and being an astrologer makes a lot right?" He looked at her and she looks like a well cosplayed ahem, clothed girl. And her job has to be paying good at a medieval setting.

"Uhhh. About that... Let's not talk about that." She cringed as she remembered unsavory thoughts about her economic situation.

He immediately thought that she was broke. "Ahhh. It's okay, you'll pull through." He patted her on the back as he empathized. When he was in college, he often had to eat cup noodles to save up on cash.

They then arrived at the guild. And he saw another girl that had an eye patch on and was doing jojo poses. "Even one of royal blood finds oneself susceptible to drowsiness at this hour." She talked to the receptionist as she looked to be used to the girl talking like that.

Holy shit. Is that a true full blooded chuuni? He thought that she was completely into it, with the costume and all. But her bow did seem real and wasn't for cosplay.

"Hey. Mona, who the hell is that?" He whispered to her as she sighed. "That's Amy, she's an investigator of the guild. She's, a bit special you see?" She smiled wryly.

The strange bird accompanying her then looked at him.

Oz was with his mistress as they finished another investigation for the guild. He then saw a man enter inside, but he felt weird. As he looked at him quietly, the man locked eyes with him and in a split second that only he saw. His eyes turned to slits, with the instincts of an animal that was fine tuned. He then shivered violently, he almost died from fright at the aura of the man. As he hid behind his mistress for safety.

Ein walked up to her as he waved his hands. "Are thou one of my people? Even though you are human. You speak the language of my subjects. Very well, I am Einheri. The prime deity of the norse pantheon. I am interested to know of royal origins like you." He went with her antics as he made jojo poses. Mona was writhing at the back as she cringed from his words.

The girl got a glint in her eye as she clearly got excited. "Me? Hehehe. Remember thou this, that I, Fischl, am the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, Sovereign of Immernachtreich, omniscient and eminent judge of all the world's iniquity!"

The bird then talked. "She's an investigator for the Adventurers' Guild." He translated. As she coughed and cleared her throat. "Ahem. That is but one of my many royal engagements."

He then decided to tease her. "Weird, I thought you're amy?" She immediately got embarrassed as she stuttered. "T-that's preposterous! Thy must remember! I am Fischl the Prinzessin der Verurteilung!"

He laughed at her antics as she blushed like a tomato and ran away. "Ahhh, she ran away. I guess she's a pretty shy and introverted one." He cracked a smile.

Mona looked at him funny as he raised a brow at her. "How in the world can you switch to speaking like that?" She was confused.

"Why? Want me to start talking like that all day long?" She quickly paled as she rejected immediately. He then registered without trouble and got his ID.

He started to shop for some ingredients and he handed it to Mona. "Here Mona, take this. Thanks for showing me around. How about I take you on a nice little date next time?" He winked at her as she almost choked.

"Wh-what!? Don't joke about things like that!" She shouted as he started to leave, as she might try and return the groceries. She cracked a smile as she thought that this was one weird day.

"Come out then. I know you've been watching me." Ein talked and a tanned young man with an eye patch appeared. Ein thought that everyone must be cosplaying here.

The man clapped. "Bravo! I guess you're not ordinary then? I tried to observe you quite carefully you know?" The man looked at him and sized him up.

Ein sighed as he forgot that there's no protection of privacy in these kinds of worlds. "So? What do you need from me? You some kind of syndicate here or something? You sure look like one." He made a jab at his appearance.

The man held a hand on his chest dramatically. "Oh! You sure wound me traveller. I am Kaeya, a knight of Favonius, pleased to make your acquaintance." He then bowed.

"A knight? What's a knight gonna want from a little ol' traveller?" Ein looked at him and he wasn't lying.

"What's so wrong about wanting to make new friends? I just want to introduce you to some of mine you see?" Ein thought that isekai worlds are troublesome, as he was already about to be detained by the police of this city.

He sighed heavily as he massaged his temples. "Go on then, I have time." Kaeya smiled. "Oh what a joyous occasion! You are very motivated to meet new friends."

They then walked up to the stairs to the base of the knights of the city.
