106 Chapter 88: The Early Snake Gets the Dragon

Kallen was wielding a practice sword that was made of Soulium. She is trying to be proficient in the swordmaster style, but even the very 1st technique is proving to be quite difficult.

"Hyaah!" She stabbed through a rock and it pierced all the way, but her momentum stopped and she failed once again. "This stinger isn't easy. He just made it look like that." She sighed and Ein patted her back.

"It's a commendable try really, even Sakura could only scratch the surface of a tree at the start you know? Hmm, your form is sloppy. It needs improvement." He straightened her hand and elbows. Then Ein pushed on Kallen's lower back to straighten her spine.

"Ugh, do I really have bad posture?" She groaned. "Yes you do, and I know why too." He used telekinesis under her breasts and lifted it up. "It's because of these, wear a bra. It's already in your size." He gave a sports bra to her with extra support.

"Hehehe~ they do weigh a bit." Sakura looked at him suspiciously from the side, narrowing her eyes at him. He was about to grab Kallen's puppies, but alas. There is a guard. "Sakura! You lack motivation! Cut those rocks like you mean it!" She then continued to hone her judgement cut. It only contained a few slashes so she's working on the quantity.

While they were training, Ein felt an entity enter. "Hmmm? I smell a snake. Mobius?" He told Kallen and Sakura to continue their training to be Vergil and Dante.

He flew to the outskirts of the village, and he saw her there. She looked to be the same age before she died and became younger due to Sesha's genes.

"Hmmm, you look good Moby. I didn't know that your adult version with MANTIS features would be that nice." He nodded in satisfaction at her.

Mobius looked at his form. He looked younger but that's it, he was the same as before. As flirty as ever. "Einheri... That's you isn't it? I'm not lacking neurotransmitters or having a visual hallucination right?" Her voice cracked and shaked.

"Dr. It is him, I've scanned him and he matches my records of Dr. Ein." Klein spoke and Mobius slowly came to him, shedding tears for the 1st time in her life. Even when she was born, she didn't cry and instead asked if her name was Mobius.

"Yup, the one and only. Come here Moby, you must have been lonely." He opened his arms and Mobius clinged to him like a constrictor. Nuzzling her head on his chest.

"You're alive. I already thought you left us." She was experiencing a mix of emotions and didn't expect really seeing him again.

He stroked her hair. "It's okay. Sorry about that, I did leave a message that sounded like a goodbye. But I'm here now aren't I? Where's the others though?" She flinched because she honestly didn't try to know where they are.

"I don't know. Elysia and Eden though, nobody knows. I tried to stop Eden from going outside, but she said that stars shine the brightest when they die. And she intends to follow you wherever you go. Elysia followed her but they didn't come back." Ein frowned and thought that it would be a challenge trying to find them while they were in stasis presumably.

"They're alive. I know it, and you're here with me now, I have something I need your help with. Let's go check it later, let me introduce you to my new team 1st." Mobius didn't care who they were but followed nonetheless.

"Einnn! I finally did it! Look!" Kallen did a full stinger on a large rock and she got the trademark energy on the tip of the blade. Piercing through almost anything in its path.

"Good job! Here, have a cookie." He gave her a thick cookie and she immediately gobbled it up like a small treat. He was domesticating her and it was like taking candy from a baby.

Mobius narrowed her eyes and saw Kallen gushing all over him, while the pink haired miko was staring at him with the eyes of a maiden with nefarious plans. But of course Mobius wasn't 100% right. She had her bias after all.

"Who are they Ein?" She said sweetly, when Mobius was in her child form, she used to pretend to be a kid to appear non-threatening.

"Hmm? They're my disciples, Kallen and Sakura. They'll be the best duo ever, just you wait, I haven't created a new and improved metal yet. With a real weapon, they'll be unstoppable." He nodded in satisfaction and Mobius raised a brow at him.

"How would they? They look weak. Even the lanky Su would beat them up." She huffed and belittled the 2.

"What!? Who is that mean woman Ein? And why does she look like that? Is she someone like me?" Kallen asked and Mobius was surprised by her words. 'A MANTIS? Did Ein performed the meta-morph surgery on her?'

"No, I didn't. She has the inactivated genes of Parvati." Mobius quickly put the 2 together. "No way, keBin's descendant? She is supposed to have genes from MEI, why does she look stupid like Kevin?"

Ein smiled wryly at her words. "Now that I think about it, she does look more like Kevin. Acts like him too back then. By the way, do you know where he is?" Mobius shook her head and Kallen interrupted them.

"Hey! You snake woman! Who are you calling weak and stupid!? I'll beat you up!" She almost lunged on her but she was stopped by Sakura just in time. "You'll prove her words Kallen! Cease this tomfoolery at once!"

Ein sighed and scratched his head. Thinking of a way to let them bond and be friends. "I know, how about a competition? Kallen and Sakura would fight you after a week Mobius. I'll let them train in the meantime, if you lose... Then you'll have to run naked around the village while we film you. And vice versa, deal?"

Kallen doesn't know what film means but agreed. "Yeah! We won't lose to you snake woman! I'll beat you up!" Sakura just sighed and started to get nervous. Mobius looked close to him and she might be his comrade that he talked about. And if she's remotely close in strength with him, then they're doomed.

"Hmph, child's play. Even though I am a woman of science, I don't have a problem in beating you to the ground." Kallen got fired up and narrowed her eyes at Mobius.

"Okay, then that's a done deal." Sakura looked at him with disapproval, but he ignored her. "Come on girls, let's get you all up to shape!" He decided to teach them the moves to make them more versatile.

"Ein, let's go. I assume you built a base underground?" He nodded and she gestured for them to go. "You know me well, let's increase the signals too so the others can locate us. I think Vill knows my location by now."

They went to his house and entered the base. Mobius approved silently, he then went to a room where 3 black stones were located. "What's inside those? Divine keys or something? Or... Organisms? You need my help after all."

"Umu, RIN, SAKURA, and MEI are inside. They are in stasis, I can't get them out yet. I need abyss flower or tons of honkai energy." Mobius examined their situation and diagnostics, she shook her head.

"You're the only one who can use abyss flower like that, and you'll just have to do with extra honkai energy. Maybe when other chasers arrive, we can supply it for now. Or Vill harvests the honkai from the 4th key. By my guess, she should be using it." They then received a message.

"Hmmm, they're here. Let's receive them." A VTOL was floating right above the base. "Oyyy! Get down here my magician!" He shouted and someone using a battlesuit exited the aircraft.

"Any hostiles in the area? Let's kill them all before they see us!" Vill was very anxious and was about to push a button on her control pad like the predator. "Wait, calm down Vill. Sheesh, you okay? You're a bit too antsy." A cat girl fell down on him and he catched her.

"Nyanya! Ein!" Phyllis patted his face all around and felt it with her hands. She then rubbed her cheek against his with tears on her eyes. "Hmm, my little cat missed me it seems."

Phyllis then bit his shoulders but it didn't leave a mark. "Yup, it's the real one. My fangs can't even scratch your skin." Vill then started to take off her battle suit.

"Ein... We were separated by the energy that leaked inside the barrier from our re entry. And during our investigations, we can only find Aponia. Everyone else is MIA." She then got her hug and kissed him quickly.

"I see, I plan to make another organization. But we will be a normal company in public, we don't need the extra fame. Or infamy if things go on like with MOTH. We'll find the others later." He hugged all of them together and visibly relaxed a bit.

"Heh, I was here 1st. You guys are awfully slow in getting to this location." Mobius had a smug smile on her face and the 2 newcomers frowned. "So what? I probably gave him more information because you're so focused on your experiments." Vill stuck her tongue out and Phyllis gave documents to him.

"Is that all sis snake? I built an empire which controls the economy for his return, now we'll have political power all over the world." She hissed at Mobius.

They started quarrelling and Ein smiled. "Ahhh, it feels just like home." The three then heard a chime and became dazed. "Ein-sama... I have waited dutifully for your return. Your maiden has arrived to serve you once again."

Aponia appeared and floated near him. He then opened his arms and hugged her, giving a kiss on her forehead. "Umu, you've done well Aponia. Daddy's here."

She then lost concentration and the trio gained their wits. "Ahh! That's not fair Aponia! You used your discipline against us! You know that the only ones who can shrug it off is Kevin, Elysia, and Eden." Phyllis whined and Aponia ignored her.

"Okay girls, settle down. We can have a lovely reunion later, how about I introduce you to a new flame chaser? I'm training some new people to the limit and I found 2 of them already." They got curious, Phyllis especially as she thought she might not be the weakest anymore. Except Griseo, as she doesn't work like the rest.

"And because Mobius is 1st, she gets a reward. No buts!" She smiled smugly and everyone frowned. "Okay, time for a fresh start everybody. We got one last chance and we have plenty of time. Let's enjoy this shall we?"

The girls nodded and were just thankful to see him again. Thinking that things will be different now, he isn't working 24/7 for a change and they'll be able to truly live life with him. Hope isn't lost and their story has just resumed again.
