Chapter 86: I Found a Nun in the River
Ein just completed the basics of the base and was wondering why Aponia or any of the other flame chasers hasn't come yet. "Is there some kind of hiccup in them trying to find me? Eden should be in charge of project Ember and Su could find me quickly with the seed of Sumeru." He was releasing honkai energy in pulses every day, like a sonar. And Vill-v or any of the psychic Mantises would've located him by now.
"There must be something wrong... But I don't know where they are so I can't leave here and try to find them. Decisions, decisions." He scratched his chin and just decided to make a beacon that will release radio waves in every direction so Vill-v can pinpoint his location with a satellite.
"This oughta do it. There's a base already that is under river Thames, but I'll build one here too. I just wish they'll find me soon." He then started to work alone again, though with the help of nano bots, he started to gain tons of efficiency and speed in making an underground bunker.
After letting the nanobots build the easy and tedious parts, he sat on his tree and started to think about plans for the future. "I need the sea of Quanta... And imagining the time I'd need to use it to it's full potential is a doozy." He sighed heavily, thinking of making a mega structure that will be sent out inside the sea to absorb it.
"Damn... A dyson sphere is already hard enough, how much would it be for mega structures that will affect basically the infinite abyss." He scratched his head in frustration and back to the drawing board it is.
"Ein-san. What are you thinking about?" Sakura looked at him and was surprised that he was getting frustrated about something. "Ahhh, it's nothing really. Just thinking about how to conquer the infinite multiverse." Sakura was confused. "Murtibersu?" She tried pronouncing it and he chuckled.
"Umu, I need to do something you see. And it is quite grand, but the ones that could help me aren't here either." He gave a melancholic smile and they went quiet. "Ahh, are they your friends or relatives?" She asked, not knowing anything about him but his inventions and godlike powers.
"Hmm, you could say they're my family. Speaking of it, how's your sister Sakura? Did she like the dark slayer style?" He diverted the question, not wanting to talk about it anymore. She gave a wide smile and her ears twitched. "Un! She was in awe... Thank you for that lesson, and she quite liked the treats... Ummm. Ein-san, can I ask you a favor?"
Sakura noticed the clinic he built and was curing the village folk with 100% success. "You're a doctor or healer, am I correct? Can you please see my sister's condition?" She said with a serious face and decided to ask him if he could cure her.
"Hmm? What's wrong? Is she sickly or something? Just bring here to the clinic then, why did you wait so long anyway?" She gave a sad smile and talked in a somber tone. "Rin... Was sick since she was a little child, and I've tried to find a cure for her for as long as I remember... Now I do hope you could cure her upon seeing the success of your clinic."
"Ahhh... I see, come on then. Anything for my cute little student." He ruffled her hair and smiled. She was uplifted by his confidence and went to her house to examine Rin.
**At Europe**
Kallen recovered a bit and there were tons of things on her mind. Especially when Schicksal started to sell their so called "Indulgences" that absolved buyers of their mortal sins.
But the masses knew it was just extra tax, and they started to resent the church of Schicksal. She was having a walk with her best friend, the young lady of house Apocalypse. Ottilie Apocalypse, and Kallen bumped into a boy with a basket of apples.
"Woah. Are you okay boy? Here's your apples." She gave a smile. "I'm okay my lady..." He then saw the insignia of Schicksal on her. "You, you're from the church... Please don't arrest me! You can keep those apples!" He ran away and the people started whispering.
"I must return these apples to him." Her legs then failed her and Ottilie had to catch her. "Kallen, your wounds haven't healed yet. Do not push yourself."
Kallen then thought of why the boy was so scared. "Why is the church so feared?" She wondered as her friend answered. "It must be because of the indulgences that are forced upon the masses. Schicksal is to be blamed for this hostility upon the church."
Kallen remembered the words of the celestial. "Don't you think that these indulgences are unjust!?" She looked at Ottilie and her friend thought that Kallen might go awry and rebel. She decided to distract her and it was quite simple. "Let's think about it Kallen, but don't you think you need some food first? You must be hungry."
The nun's eyes lit up and was successfully distracted, much to Ottilie's relief. "Yay, you are right! Onwards then." They arrived at a cafe and the lady of Apocalypse just ordered a slice of cake and tea while the Kaslana's strongest valkyrie ordered a variety of sweets.
Kallen started to dig in and annihilated the treats with gusto, while Ottilie just sipped some tea and smiled wryly. 'She will ask for my cake for sure, better save it for her.'
She was instantly correct and the white head looked at her and made puppy dog eyes. "Please my lady. Can I have more?" Of course the blonde cannot refuse and gave it to her. Kallen finished and was satisfied, but they heard a commotion nearby.
"I've come to take your payment. Your husband's grievous sins are yet to be pardoned, the wounds inflicted by his sins cry out in vengeance my dear." A cleric was harassing a woman for the payment of indulgences.
"Please! We just need a bit more time!" She begged but the cleric gave a disgusting smile. "Your daughter would be enough compensation for his sins." He was about to grab the child of the woman but Kallen stopped him and twisted his arm.
"How dare you threaten a woman in taking her child in public. You shame the dutiful clergy of
Schicksal!" The priest looked at her and spoke
"A knight of the military orders? Do you realize that we're being forced to compel our faithful flock to help pay for your defeat in the east?"
Kallen got heated. "You vile cur! I'll." Ottilie intervened and grabbed Kallen's arm. "What's the matter Kallen. Why is there a commotion here?" She then gave a sharp look on the cleric that made him back off. Ottilie made a cure for the accursed plague after all, and her popularity to the masses skyrocketed. Setting her position in stone in Schicksal.
"I'll give you 3 more days woman." He then left and Kallen was aghast. "Why would the church go against the good book? Why did we let that evil priest go."
Ottilie then put her hands on Kallen's face. "Exacting vigilante justice won't change anything my dear Kallen. Whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."
She pulled her and started to walk. "Let's not waste time here. Time fo watch a show." She saw a play in the plaza and distracted Kallen again. And this of course was noticed by her, making Kallen subconsciously treat her best friend differently through the years. Creating a rift between them.
In the town plaza there was a woman performing a play, wearing a violet mask. "Oh, what may Man within him hide, though Angel on the outward side? How may likeness made in crimes, making pracțise on the times."
Kallen listened intently, mesmerized by the play due to the practices of the church she is witnessing. "Where I have seen corruption boil and bubble till it o'er-run the stew. Lawy for all faults, but faults so countenanced, that the strong statutes stand ... like the forfeits in a barber's shop, as much in mock as mark."
Ottilie looked at Kallen with a melancholic expression, she cannot do anything against Schicksal and uphold her promise with her back when she first met the young maiden.
"Haste still pays haste, and leisure answers leisure Like doth quit like, and ... measure still for measure! We do condemn the corrupt knave to the very block... ...Where innocents stoop'd to death, and with like haste." The performer took out a saber and saw Kallen's insignia, pointing the tip of the weapon at it.
"And therefore think them as the serpent's eggs ... which hatched, would as their kind grow mischievous ... and slit the throat of hated corruption in its shell."
The church's lackeys then appeared. "Arrest that heretic for slander!" They quickly put the woman down and she struggled violently. "The people will learn of the truth! You cannot deceive us forever!"
Kallen was in a dilemma. 'What should I do? I must find a way to save her. Why is the church doing this?" She then spotted the performer's mask and quickly got a makeshift cape and wore the mask to disguise herself.
"Stop! You rabid enforcers of the vile tyrants!" She then jumped up high and quickly carried the woman in her arms. "Time to make our good escape." She then ran away with the woman on her arms. "Sorry! None of you saw anything!"
Ottilie just looked at them escape and thought of Kallen's habit of trying to save everyone.
"Here, I had to use it to hide my identity." Kallen gave the mask back to the woman but she refused. "You've already soiled it with your touch church sister. Fare thee well, consider that mask as a token of my gratitude." She then left.
"Maestro! I forgot to tell you that I liked your play! I will definitely love to see you perform again!" She gave a wide smile and waved goodbye.
Kallen's blonde companion silently watched what happened and contemplated. 'I haven't seen her smile like that in years...' She remembered the 1st time she met her, that faithful day which is ingrained in her mind.
*11 years ago.*
"I've made this Ornithopter for a whole night! It can finally fly on its own." The little Ottilie Apocalypse had a great mind since she was a child. Though her family considered her a disgrace and dead weight. Because of her weak body, science focused mind. She was the black sheep of the Apocalypse family that ruled over Schicksal. (pic here)
A stone then hit the little flying contraption and it fell down in the opposite side of the wall. "What? No!" Her brother then appeared. "Are you still making those useless toys? Don't you ever grow up?"
She then tried to climb the wall to get her creation back. "You'll never get above that wall, you're barely even strong enough to stay alive. Why did we get a little sister like this? Can't even be married to the other houses to ensure the next generation. The shame of the family."
Ottilie then sat on the floor and was used to the verbal abuse of her family. But of course, it wasn't pleasant. She looked at her hands covered in scratches from attempting to climb.
She then heard a grunt and a white haired girl climbed up. "Wow, that thing flew like a bird! Did your father make that for you?" The little blonde was surprised and saw someone her age for the 1st time, as she was always locked up inside the house because of her poor health.
"Uhh, I made it myself." The little Kallen then gasped. "Woah, you'll definitely be a great inventor one day! You're so smart." She then went down and laughed nervously. "Hehe~ sorry, when I climbed I tore it up even more."
Ottilie looked at her with dazed eyes. 'She told me that I'm useful, someone that can do useful things for others. That's the 1st tims someone ever said anything nice about what I did.'
"Hey master inventor. Want to join me in a quest? Let's go save the world and make it a better place!" Kallen smiled and the blonde got stunned. Giving birth to a true master inventor.

Ein and Sakura went up to her house in the shrine. She then opened the sliding door and smiled. "Rin, come and meet Ein-san. He's here to take a look at you."
A pink haired girl that was lying down sat up, she then got excited. Getting to meet someone as amazing as Ein, hearing rumors about him that even the village folk started to worship him. "Hello, I am Yae Rin." She gave a polite greeting. (Pic here)
"Yo. How are you Rin? As you've heard, I am Einheri. Though you don't need to worship me or anything, how about you give me your sister in exchange?" He teased, making Rin chuckle and Sakura choke on her saliva.
'She's definitely RIN's reincarnation. Damn, they look alike right to the tiniest of detail. Hah, I'll take care of them then. I'm just coping at this point..." He remembered Rin and Sakura from the past era and frowned.
"Yes, Ein-san. You can have her for yourself, she always works and takes care of me. She wouldn't get married for a long time." Rin giggled and Sakura pouted.
"Rin! Don't egg him on, he'll take advantage of it like the evil man he is!" The two laughed and Ein put a hand on Rin's back. "Hmmm, leukemia? That's a bummer, good thing I can still cure this."
"Really!? You can!? I will be forever in your debt if you could!" Sakura bowed and put her forehead on the floor. Begging him, throwing away her pride as a warrior. And more importantly, as a person.
He karate chopped her head. "No need for these dramatic things Sakura. You kept me quite entertained during my stay here, it's the least that I could do." He then started to rearrange Rin's DNA so she would be able to fight off the cancer cells and her stem cells would make the correct cells.
"Hmmm, all done. Though she would need some time to strengthen herself." He gave multivitamins and supplements for Rin, rearranging her DNA was quite tiring. Requiring tons of energy and focus.
"Rin!" Sakura hugged them both tightly and started to tear up. "You'll be able to go out again, enjoy the blooming sakura trees. Thank you Ein-san, I'll repay this debt in the future."
He patted their heads and gave a tender smile. 'Ahhh, the things I do for sentimentality.' "It's all good. Just enjoy your lives from now on. That's why you're always so serious Sakura, you should've just told me that Rin was sick or something."
"Well, I was not sure and didn't want to be disappointed again." She then noticed that she was hugging him tightly and quickly separated herself, her cheeks dusted with red.
"Aneue. You grow up so fast, it pains me that you will leave me for Ein-san. But it is fine, I approve." Rin teased her and snickered. Ein then took out multiple plates of food and started to have a feast with them. After saying goodbye and enjoying themselves, he returned to the underground base and was thinking of a way that he'll be able to contain massive amounts of energy from the sea of quanta.
"Hmmm, Soulium would definitely work. But the efficiency will be crap, it's made for honkai after all. What to do..." He wanted an upgrade, divine keys were obviously not strong enough and it is limited to the user. So he thought of other weapons that can be made for the user themselves and find a material that could house the sea of quanta.
"Counter hax, with hax. Noble phantasms or things like the Longinus would be pretty good. Hah, I'll have to upgrade my greatest creation." He would use Soulium as the base, but it would be stronger. Unbreakable even, and the material will use the sea of quanta instead to break reality. He then had an idea on what will he use. "How about Neutronium? I can also make them usable by others with the sea of quanta's properties."
He remembered that the strongest material in the universe came from neutron stars, and it would be perfect as the base with its strength. The sea of quanta would make it usable by magically decreasing its weight due to it breaking physics. It won't hit as hard, but that isn't the goal. "Kekeke~ that's good... Wait, I'll have to be strong enough again to make it though. Tsk, this is such a pain." He needed to train again to even survive on one of the most extreme celestial objects in the universe.
"I guess I'll train for now. I hope Vill and the others come soon." He upped gravity on him and started to train like a true grinder. Keeping his strength sealed and being crushed by enormous weight all the time, 24/7. "I played MMO's when they were the rage! I was born to grind! Uwooooh!" He started to increase his strength once again. Having tons of time to do it unlike in the past era.

The holy maid of Schicksal was making plans to help the populace. While deep in thought her friend entered the room and called out to Kallen. "Ottilie! Let's go and steal from that evil priest! I'll raid his home while you help me." She was looking at the mask from the woman earlier and got inspired to help.
"Evil priest? You mean Victor?" She was bombarded by Kallen's enthusiasm. "Yeah! That guy! Make me a rogue extraordinaire and I'll be the phantom thief!" She pulled the blonde with her and started to choose suitable disguises.
"Ahhh, there are so many to choose from, but they don't disguise me well at all." She then found a violet dress that matched with the mask she was given.
"This will do! Huhun! We will be the nightmare of evil here Tilie!" She then wondered. "Hey Tilie? Why do you have so many dresses and they fit so well?" They were not the same size and it perplexed her.
"Ahem, it's my secret Kallen... Look, I have a few more gadgets for you." She gave a bracelet that can be a grappling hook and some smoke bombs to get away.
"Ohhh! Thanks my great inventor!" Tilie then got embarrassed and received the compliment shyly. "And of course, we have to send them a letter Kallen. That's the mark of a true phantom thief." They wrote a letter and sent it to the priest's home.
After that, Ottilie was waiting in the front of the house. Wearing a dress, while Kallen invaded the house and stole everything she could. "There you are, these are the indulgences the church have extorted." She saw multiple kinds of coins, from ducats, dinars, etc. She even forgot some of them that were taught to her by Ottilie.
"Hehe~ this will be enough to last the populace a while." She then put it in a bag. The door suddenly opened, revealing the priest with multiple guards.
"You heretic! We've come prepared. Guards, get her!" Kallen jumped and beat up the men without difficulty. She then threw a smoke bomb and used the grappling hook to quickly make her escape.
Meanwhile, Ottilie pretended to have a sprain and sat down on the road. Distracting the guards for Kallen. 'I'll play with this for now Kallen, go and do what you need.'
The white haired thief then gave coins to the poor and needy inside the town. Making her way to the place where that priest was about to take the daughter. "You're fast asleep young one." She then left some money for them.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine now." She smiled and left, satisfied with her heist. Then, a small tattoo that glowed appeared on the little girl's arm. Signifying a natural stigmata bearer.
Kallen decided to try and steal more as she didn't expect that it would be easy. "Hehe~ with the money I have here, I can easily save people with this." She then heard a small commotion in which hooded figures were kidnapping a girl. And it was the little one from before named Sasha.
"Hey! Let her go vile villains!" Kallen started to chase after them, but the hooded men quickly entered a house and it was none other than the priest's.
She entered the house and was suspicious. The place was deathly quiet and she tried to look for the girl. Finding a staircase, she went there as she didn't enter the basement last time. "What is this place?" She saw a metal door with the symbol of Schicksal.
Trying to open it, she was unsuccessful. "Intruder! Guards!" The priest shouted but she instantly went behind him. "Try anything funny priest and I'll break a few of your bones. Now open the door or else." The priest quickly opened it and she saw multiple girls tied to a cross. With a black box in the middle of them, emanating a dangerous aura.
"You vile cur! Release them at once and stop this!" Kallen shouted, aghast from the practices of the church. "I can't! This was ordered by the overseer!"
Ottilie was hiding behind a pillar, afraid of being seen by Kallen and knowing what goes on behind the scenes. They were experimenting on humans, that's how they created the serum for the black plague. And now, female children are the test subjects to make a more potent cure, as the plague grow stronger. Originating from the black box which houses the herrscher of corruption.
"Kallen, why are you here? You shouldn't have returned here." She whispered to herself and gritted her teeth.
"Why are you doing this!? There's no need to experiment on little girls!" The priest spoke. "We're making a cure to stop the plague!"
"We already have a cure! Only needing a few herbs. You lie!" The priest then laughed mockingly. "You have no idea how many plague victims were killed to make the 1st cure. You are right, we want to open this black box and harness its power! Then we'll return to the east and find the savior!"
She then heard a voice from her back. "We'll avenge our loss and finally find the apostle who will lead us to defeat the honkai. Phantom thief, or should I say. Captain Kallen Kaslana?"
Kallen looked at the newcomer shocked. It was Eleanor Schariac. A strong valkyrie of the order. "I knew your defeat has shaken your faith. I don't care why you betrayed Schicksal, but I'm more than happy to take you down traitor!" She pulled out multiple knives and put them between her fingers.
"Eleanor stop! I don't want to fight you! Look at this. It is wrong to kidnap girls and experiment on them!" She then evaded the flurry of attacks from the girl.
"Shut up and fight me! You traitorous harlot of a Kaslana!" Kallen then kicked her in the midsection, making her wheeze from the powerful blow.
"Lady Ottilie has given me the name Schariac and powers to fight against heresy Kaslana! Let me show you the miracles of our holy church." She then materialized a black spear. The black abyss, the other half of abyss flower.
'That spear feels like The oath of Judah of the Kaslana's!' It emitted a black vapor and they entered combat once again. Eleanor then became faster and Kallen was hit on her thigh, a little cut. But the pain and damage was unimaginable.
"Agh! It's eating through my leg." She fell down on the floor and her opponent looked coldly upon her. "You're history Kaslana, you've lost. I'll give you a swift death and lady Ottilie shan't be poisoned by your heresy no more."
Speaking of the devil, she couldn't let Kallen die and grasped the black abyss. "Enough Eleanor. Take Kallen away from here but don't let her be harmed, she is the captain of the valkyrie order still."
They took away Kallen as prisoner and Ottilie fainted from the wound she received by black abyss.
"This dream... I haven't dreamt of it in a long time." Ottilie and Kallen were following Francis Kaslana, the father of Kallen in a mission. But they were surrounded by beasts immediately.
"Look closely progeny, this is our path. The belief of the Kaslana's." He then linked the 2 pistols together to fight an emperor class honkai beast. Unleashing the zweihander form of the judgement of Shamash.
But in the end, Kallen's father burned his very life to defeat his foe.
They were then transported inside a cathedral. In which the brave warrior was now in a coffin, Kallen crying from her loss. Ottilie heard a voice that whispered inside her mind.
"Despite her crying, you heard what the priest said. The Kaslana Oath. The path that she must take. The path that killed all the great Kaslana sires. By the Judgment of Shamash, Kaslanas die and hever yield." A child that looked just like her when little spoke.
"You don't believe in the priest's talk of the heavens and the afterlife... Instead, your mind was occupied by the scene when the Paladin locked the two quns together... unleashing a firestorm that consumed both the giant Honkai beast and himself. The seemingly invincible warrior was dead. No amount of incense of flowers could mask the burnt smell emanating from his coffin."
Ottilie saw the coffin burn and Kallen started to disappear as well. "You can't help but think she'll end up this way too. She is a Kaslana, it's their oath. And she'll keep fighting until she dies."
The blonde then tried to touch Kallen. "No! I'll save her from this fate." Everything burned up and the Kallen disappeared. She opened the coffin and saw Kallen there, burning to nothingness.
"See? You can't save her. She dreams fo die just like her ancestors. But I can help you with these 2 boxes." The little child smiled, void archives and the black box floated on her hands.
Ottilie then woke up, drenched in sweat while on her bed. "The 2 boxes? Calm down, it's just a dream. Wait! They've imprisoned Kallen." She quickly stood up and went to her cell.
Seeing the overseer scolding Kallen she intervened. "Lord overseer." The archbishop saw her. "I prayed for an alternative, but sacrifices have to be made to show the separatist royalty that Schicksal is the way to true salvation. Mastering the box will help us find the savior. My daughter, you are close to this lass. Guide her to the rightful path." He patted her shoulder and left.
"Kallen. The overseer is right, we could save much more people. The little girls sacrifice won't be in vain." She tried to reach out to Kallen
But she slapped her hand away. "No, this is wrong Tilie. It is plain murder. I've sworn an oath to protect these children and I'll gladly give my life away as their shield." Ottilie then remembered the oath of the Kaslana's. *By the judgement of Shamash, Kaslanas die and never yield.*
"You're a fool Kallen! Can't you see? Do you really think you can save the world by sacrificing yourself? Did you see what happened to your father? Dead people cannot save anyone!" She shouted and Kallen slapped her on the face.
"How dare you speak ill of the person who saved your life! If he was alive, he would've burned this dungeon to the ground!" Her friend stood up and faced the other way.
"I can let you and the girl named Sasha free from here Kallen, but the matter with the black box will continue. Wether we like it or not." She then retreated from Kallen's cell. Thinking about how to save her from herself and oath.
Kallen walked the child back to her mother, they were released after a few hours. "My best friend lied to me about the tests... It's painful to admit, but power reveals one's true nature. I finally realized why Kaslana's always walk alone." She remembered her father's words.
"Will you let the strong feast on the weak? Our great sires fell in battle against the honkai, but never for tyranny." Kallen then walked to the cemetery where her father was buried. Lost and cold from the rain that poured.
"Lost? Oh dear, my poor baby girl. Remember what I told you?" Kallen heard his voice. "Come progeny, take my hand. This is the day I feared, the day where you will become a fighting Kaslana. I have advice for you baby girl, keep on looking forward, because we always unleash the flames of judgement on their faces."
Her eyes then became dazed, and a buxom woman with brown hair appeared. "You... Your fate that was sealed started to become blurry. Ein-sama will grace you with his presence soon, you shall pave the path to his location." Aponia then showed her an illusion of her father and disappeared promptly.
"By the judgement of Shamash. Kaslanas die but never yield." Kallen psyched herself up and returned to the Kaslana house, arming herself with the oath of Judah.

After experimenting with the black box Ottilie was almost done in cracking open the relic. With the help of Eleanor that is wielding the black abyss. They can open it with force.
"Finally! The power of this black box will be harnessed by Schicksal and we will conquer the east! Gaining us the bounties of the lands and we can find the savior!" The overseer shouted and excitedly looked at the box.
The windows then shattered and a large golden cross landed inside the cathedral. "The house of Kaslana has betrayed us! Schariac, prepare for battle!"
"I knew that giving you mercy was the wrong move traitor! I will strike you down in the name of Schicksal!" Eleanor brandished black abyss and rushed to Kallen.
The holy maid then remembered the celestial's words. "I now know what to fight for immortal." Judah split open and chains erupted from it. Binding the girl with the powers of the 11th divine key.
Eleanor then took out a violet gem that came from the box. Putting it inside her chest and started to change. "Be the witness heretic, I hereby offer myself as the 1st sacrifice for lady Ottilie. She has saved my life from the plague, and I will give it back and place my faith in god's eternal love!"
Kallen gasped and saw the girl transform. "What have you done!?" Eleanor chuckled and turned to a honkai abomination, looking like an arachne. "I only opened the door when god knocked." (pic here)
Kallen tried to bind her with the chains. But she was too strong and released webs of honkai energy from her finger tips and it stuck to the ceiling, she then propelled herself. "I can now go where you can't reach. Die Kaslana!" She charged a laser from her chest and fired it on Kallen.
"Curses, she's quick with long range attacks. I must be one step ahead." She started to stab the chains in specific places that could trap her now huge enemy. "I will cut your throat Kaslana!" Eleanor's razor sharp limb almost reached Kallen's neck but was stopped by the well put chains like a web.
"Curse you traitor!" She struggled violently while Kallen took the black box. "You've made a mistake Tilie, this box won't save anyone."
Eleanor felt the chains drain her honkai energy and started to charge up another beam. 'I must save lady Ottilie from that harlot!'

"Now Kallen!" The big cross split up again and glowed brightly. Revealing javelins that are ready to be launched. "Oath of Judah, Divine Soulbound."
The javelins went up in the air and stabbed Eleanor multiple times while being bound up by the golden chains. "Why lady Ottilie! I would have been so much more." She cried tears and perished.
The gem of the herrscher of corruption turned into a black mist, it then entered Kallen. "Hmmm, this body is untainted and with a pure heart and inhuman strength. Unlike that one which is already taken by another. She is a perfect vessel." It saw that the void archives was already encroaching the mind of the other female.
It then tried to corrupt Kallen, but a bell was heard in everyone's ears in the whole town. Incapacitating everyone. "The 12th herrscher from the past era. RIN, you will meet Ein-sama later and be purified. Be disciplined for now and quietly enter your little box." Aponia used the 0th power of the oath of Judah and the 12th herrscher instantly returned to a form of a gem. While Void archives lost its glow, the core then returned inside the box, making ripples on the cube.
"Now, go onwards Kallen Kaslana. I trust that your mission will be completed in due time. I cannot wait for him any longer, godspeed. Kevin's descendant, you shall succeed in this endeavor. Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu."
She then disappeared again and everybody's consciousness returned. Living inside an illusion while they stood in place, none the wiser. "This box is containing honkai. I must seal it in a faraway place where people would not be corrupted by it." Kallen said to her friend, her mind made up.
"My dear Kallen, I need to take you to the doctors..." She tried stalling for time, she didn't want her to go. But alas, Kallen's will won't waver.
"I... I must go." She quickly left, thinking that the knights and soldiers must be close. "Kallen... We can still." She reached out, but her beloved holy maiden has already left. She gritted her teeth and thought of changing Schicksal to help her in saving the world.
Kallen carried the black box with her and went to the immortal celestial of Shenzou to help her seal the black box. But when she arrived to Mt. Taixuan, the celestial's abode. It was already in flames.
In the course of weeks, she was tracked by Schicksal valkyries and skirmishes were inevitable. Injuring her, leading her to the decision of going further east. "The valkyrie order is hot on my heels. I must travel to the land where the sun rises. This accursed box I carry must sleep for eternity, and the celestial is nowhere to be seen."
She then traveled to Japan. Carrying the soulium box containing the herrscher of corruption.

Ein was continuing his training montage in the morning. Bogged down by mind bogging gravity that would flatten almost anything in the way. "100 Pushups done, 100 squats done, and 10 km run with thousands of G's on me..." He didn't get to finish his sentence, seeing a nun in a black outfit on the riverbank, wounded. (pic here)
"Holy shit, A nun! Is this a sign from Aponia? You don't see that everyday." He then went up to her and healed her up pretty quickly. Noticing the soulium box with her, he looked at it closely and didn't remember making anything like it. "Eh, I can just open it up later." He shrugged and carried the nun.
Kallen opened her eyes and looked at the one carrying her weakly. She saw verdant green eyes and silver hair that was longer than hers. "Hey, you. You're finally awake." He remembered his character in skyrim and got nostalgic.
"Wh-where am I?" She asked weakly and he shushed her. "You've been trying to cross the border right? Walked into that imperial ambush. I understand."
She was surprised that he could predict her situation. "How did you know I got ambushed?" She asked him.
"It's simple really. I'm the chosen one girl. I have the power of god and anime by my side. I'm also the apex of all beings, a true gamer who grinds." He gave a smug smile and they went back to Yae village.
