Chapter 184: Frost and Earth Defense Force
One Natasha Cioara was holding the shield of 7 Thunders of Retribution tightly. Holding it for dear life as Ana awakened her herrscher powers and turned the city into an icy tundra.
"So this is how they awaken huh? Damn, should've brought a thicker cloak or something." Natasha felt the chill and the only place that she could see right now that isn't a popsicle is a small area around her.
Ana screamed and clutched her head. Fighting fiercely against her herrscher ego for dominance. But she suddenly stopped moving and twitched, unconscious from the internal struggle. Her body is moving with pure instinct.
Ana's hands suddenly aimed at Natasha and released shards of ice at her position. "Tch, you ain't even gonna do a monologue?" Natasha dodged as she didn't want to drain her weapon's energy even more.
The dangerous icicles dug deep into the concrete, showing their hardness. Shattering the ground from the immense force they had.
Natasha observed the enemy combatant and was prepared to shoot instantly. But she obviously knew that her shots were limited. "Hey, girl. You have an energy saving mode or something? I really need that right now..." Natasha asked and the weapon glowed.
She was surprised that the finicky weapon acquiesced to her wishes. But she was shocked at what she saw as it turned into... "A fucking slingshot? Really?" Natasha was losing her mind and Ana shouted out. Creating a blizzard out of thin air.
Though it was no ordinary one, as blades of ice littered the blizzard like a storm of sharp weapons and everything the cold air touched turned into diamond dust.
"Fuck! I'm gonna have a word with Ein-san later with this!" Natasha sweated even though it was cold and ran away. She then snatched a pebble for some ammunition, aiming at Ana.
Natasha released the pebble and it was surprisingly strong. It turned the projectile into a bullet as the pebble travelled at breakneck speeds. Tracing a violet light, hitting Ana's shield of ice and dealing significant damage to it.
"Woah, Ein-san sure doesn't make things that are useless." Natasha was in awe and looked at the slingshot at a better light
She then thought of how to incapacitate Ana effectively while pelting her with pebbles that were basically shot out of a railgun.
"Come on, she's gotta have an opening or something?" Natasha was frustrated as Ana just kept on blocking her harassment and created blizzards. Slowly turning the frozen surroundings into dust from the immense cold as they crumbled.
"Tch, she isn't even actively trying to kill me. Goddamned herrschers, where's that maid when you need her?" Natasha dodged a particularly dangerous barrage as Ana's attacks started to ramp up in lethality and precision.
"Damn, she's starting to get the hang of her powers isn't she?" Natasha clicked her tongue once again and decided to use a bit of more power.
She maneuvered herself and transformed the weapon into the charge blade. Using the axe form, she slammed it down at the ground and lightning rained down.
Ana senses the dangerous attack and willed a large shield of ice. Stopping the violent lightning, but she had to focus more. A divine key was like a crutch, not needing intimate knowledge about the particular law of nature to cause immense destruction.
So Ana's shield needed to be supplemented or the lightning of the 3rd herrscher would breach it and cause heavy damages on her.
"Hehe~ Got you." Natasha appeared behind Ana and was equipping the gauntlets and greaves form. Not wasting any time, she slugged Ana on the chin. Launching her in the sky.
Her gauntlets and greaves then turned into the gun, shooting small powered shots at the Valkyrie turned herrscher. "I doubt she's unconscious from that." Natasha squinted her eyes and saw a dome of ice.
She rolled her eyes and cursed Murphy. Ana then flew higher in the sky, raising her hand as a huge pillar of ice began forming.
"That's not good. Little help here girl?" Natasha patted the weapon nervously and it dimmed for a bit. The clearly conscious weapon most likely rolling its eyes at her.
It then transformed into a hammer and Natasha was surprised by its weight. The weapon then started to swing her round and round like a carousel.
"Holy shiii!" Natasha's words got cut off as she went faster, almost turning green from dizziness. Desire to puke rising.
Ana then released the massive pillar that would've not only splatted Natasha, but buried her as well. Like a meteor, the mass of ice moved quicker and quicker. The front side started to ignite as it broke the sound barrier.
And when it was almost near the ground Natasha gave up and remembered Ein's lecture to her back then to not control the 3rd key and let its destruction free. So she spun around with more momentum and hit the pillar with all her might.
A deafening clap of thunder resounded. Lightning bolts hit the ice and plasma rained down from above. Ana's attack shattered into a million pieces and the shockwave flattened the buildings surrounding them.
Natasha then willed for a piercing weapon and in her hands, the multimorphing armament turned into a spear. While falling, she aimed at Ana with her freehand and threw the spear like a javelin. Releasing a violet line that quickly arrived at Ana's position.
Ice and lightning clashed instantly. Burning hot plasma and frost battled for supremacy. Ana then got blindsided as a bolt of lightning hit her on the back. Spiralling down to the ground.
Meanwhile, Natasha heaved at the ground as she crouched. Puking from the intense g forces that the 3rd key put her through while it slowly floated down nearby and glowed brightly. Showing its joy in seeing her in such a state.
"Ugh, fuck you too." Natasha flipped it off and looked at the finally unconscious Ana. "Damn, I really don't wanna fight these guys one on one again. That time with Rita was much more different."
She surveyed the surroundings and could see the winter wonderland that had numerous molten spots from the violent lightning and plasma.
"Damn, this is gonna cost a pretty penny. Good thing I'm not paying for it." She then went to Ana and carried her weakly. Carrying her slowly so she won't fall down from being still dizzy.
"Let's not do that again, please." Natasha pleaded to the weapon and it glowed a bit slower. Like it was giving a really snow nod. "Ugh, you'll do it again. Won't you? Fine! God damnit, you're lucky you're a badass weapon." Natasha grumbled and started going back to World Serpent. Both cold and feeling unwell.

At St. Freya, Welt finally arrived and saw a drunk Mei that was drinking with two Himekos. The other teen having a great time with her adult self as they got hammered.
"Himeko-nee~ How'd ya get such a hottie like Ein-sannnn?" Teen Himeko slurred as she sipped her long island. As her older counterpart didn't drink that much beer and introduced her to more sophisticated cocktails.
"Ahhh, lemme sheee. I was just your age when I baited him in for my 18th birthday! We celebrated and when he got comfortable, I jumped him." Himeko explained and teen Himeko thought that was genius. Though that was her intoxicated mind's opinion.
"Woahhh, you're so luckyyy~" She pouted in jealousy and Himeko chuckled, patting her back. "Kukuku~ We can jusht go in at the shame time and do a little twin play! He really likes that you shee?" Himeko gave a smirk and teen Himeko nodded with enthusiasm.
"Oi. Don't leave me behind! Ein-nii's gonna be my hushband!" Mei shouted out and promptly passed out on the table, slamming her head on it. Making the Himekos laugh their ass of.
"Uhhh, what's going on here?" Welt was really confused and he even rushed as he felt two herrscher cores there and saw their clash from far away.
"Huh? Who are you? P-professor!?" Teen Himeko quickly sobered up as a flood of memories suddenly came crashing down in her brain.
Himeko noticed her blushing profusely and raised a brow. "Hoh??? It seems you've had a little thing for professor what's his face here in your universe eh?" Himeko smirked and poked her cheek.
"W-what are you talking about?" Teen Himeko sputtered and got really embarrassed. Himeko sobered herself up and remembered everything she knew about Joachim.
"Meh, understandable. He is a good man, but he's really boring and old school. He probably only gets it on with Dr. Tesla via missionary every time." Himeko shrugged and Joachim gasped.
"H-how did you know?" Joachim was surprised and Himeko sipped some tea. "You look like it, Dr. Welt. You look like the vanilla type, anyways. What are you here for anyway?" She asked and teen Himeko got thinking deeply.
"Ahem... We need to stop Ottilie Apocalypse's plans, she's cooking up something. And I need all the help I can get, meaning St. Freya." Joachim looked at her seriously and Himeko thought of it.
"Hmm, let me ask for permission first. For being Schicksal's rival, you guys ask an awful lot for help don't you think?" Himeko commented and contacted the staff of St. Freya, especially Theresa.
"Ugh, now that I think about it. Dr. Welt does act like an old man... Is it because I have daddy issues, that's why I had a crush on him?" Teen Himeko's first crush got dismantled to the ground and Himeko patted her back.
"It's daddy issues, girl. Now, principal Theresa will be here soon with the staff. How about you seat yourself right over there?" Himeko pointed at the unconscious Kiana that was drooling on the table and Welt slowly nodded.

At Aesir, Ein and Vill were detecting multiple imminent honkai eruptions throughout Asia. "Hah, it's trying to overwhelm humanity with sheer numbers. Gotta admit, it would be pretty effective if I didn't have this." Ein pressed a button and he appeared at a holographic display for every Aesir operative.
"Hello, my little employees. It must have caught your attention that honkai eruptions are getting more and more rampant." Ein announced with closed eyes and the employees nodded.
"And due to your training, you must know what comes next. Correct? It is time, you have sharpened your claws long enough. Prey has arrived, don your armors and protect our planet from the foul invaders. EDF, sortie and protect your home!" He gave a speech and everyone started wearing their power armor, uniforms, weapons, gear.
Military bases sprung up from mountains, oceans, seas, basically every piece of land that Aesir owned. Aesir's soldiers then started loading up their vehicles, planes, jets, and tools of war.
Squads of four operatives were nearly in line. Each squad is capable of protecting a city by their lonesome.
Mechs were quickly taken out of the hangars and the sight was a mech lover's wet dream. Vill-v quickly performing quality checks on all of them from all across the globe with her drones.
Every single getting boarded as they whirred to life. And the elites had the privilege of piloting the towering mechs the size of skyscrapers. (pic)
With weapons mounted on their backs. Their awesome firepower strong enough to decimate entire city blocks with just the shockwave of their guns firing.
Energy melee weapons that could cut through anything. Titanic warriors of humanity that will bring down their burning revenge upon the honkai that has defeated them once.
There was a pregnant silence, only machines and foot steps were audible. Showcasing their coordination and immense discipline.
Honkai eruptions then started, the beasts trying to ravage the earth. Emperor class and judgement class honkai beasts appearing in droves.
Portals opened and the soldiers of humanity marched. "The time is now! March on and show the honkai that humanity will fight! Tear apart their hard shells that they are proud of! Kill every single one of them. The only ones who will leave, are the dead ones." Ein gave his orders and the armies chanted.
"EDF! EDF! Glory to mankind!" The titans lifted up their feet and took a step. Causing tremors with every one that they take. Their energy weapons glowed and an ominous red blade of pure energy appeared.
Entering the portals, their chants were heard by the humans. Their once certain doom, replaced. And for their enemies, it has arrived.
Wing divers, high mobility special class soldiers flew through the city like acrobats. Using telekinesis to carry as many humans as they could. Putting them behind the rank and file soldiers that acted as a bulwark.
The titans towering over their enemies, a sudden wave of relief hitting them. They then shouted out with their fellow brothers and sisters.
And not before long, the cities were qualified for all out combat. Not a single one being left behind. Morale, sky high. The gigantic mechs aiming their cannons and guns that dwarfed buildings.
Air raiders, the support specialists called upon airstrikes at enemy lines. Fencers, heavy armored soldiers that could carry artillery weapons on them prepared high velocity anti-honkai missiles like a mobile turret.
Rangers, the vanilla infantry. But their weapons were just as destructive, boarded the numerous vehicles that would roam around, use their rail guns and atomic dematerializers.
The wing divers charged up a container of energy and threw them high up in the sky. Ready to release a rain of superheated plasma like heavy rain. They then planted their weapons on the ground, energy rifles that had automatic targeting systems. Able to lock on to hundreds of enemies at a time.
"OPEN FIRE!" Their commander ELF shouted out and the titans fired their weapons. Shockwaves that were equal to thermonuclear bombs flattened the city from their overwhelming firepower.
Then the ammunitions hit the ground. What could only be described as hell on earth rocked the lands. The city got vaporized immediately and the ocean floor could be seen after the blast.
The waters parted just like Moses did and the crust of the earth got torn asunder. In an awesome display of military might.
The honkai beasts kept spawning and the wing divers' balls of energy in the sky released their tension. Raining down plasma to the enemies in hellfire.
The guns of the titans roared as shells the size of houses littered the ground. Electricity arcing on it, being propelled by electromagnets that consumed energy as much as the whole human population did.
A vipralopa class honkai beast shielded its allies, but it was quickly by the awesome might of humanity's dakka.
One of the mechs leaped, its thrusters kept it up in the sky. It then bore down the massive axe in its hands, splitting the gigantic honkai beast. Robbing the honkai beasts of its cover that was their haven.
"Their shelter has become their tomb." A low voice came from the mech and every single honkai beast that was in sight got shot down immediately.
"Chaaaaarge!" The army roared and went with the old ways. Kill the enemy with melee or if they didn't have melee weapons. Blast them in the face point blank.
