"Fufufu, Ara~ Why did you back down mr. cat? It seems you're a little afraid?" Rita asked with a smile as she did a jojo pose, her aura getting menacingly thick and a stand appeared right behind her. Holding a scythe just like her chilling, blue one that would promise a death of permafrost. (gif)
'What is this human? My instincts are going crazy with alarms.' The cat, named Stan thought that Rita was no ordinary human that he, a modified honkai beast that can even best other emperor classes would fear.
"Hmm, cat got your tongue? I have a mission you see? And I would like to be at my master's side as soon as possible." Rita bowed at the cat and the surroundings went deadly quiet. The tension, palpable as the cat observed her thoroughly.
Rita then disappeared from thin air and Stan felt like his life would be forfeit if he didn't do anything. "Boo." Rita reappeared right behind it and was brandishing her weapon to strike on its limbs.
'She'll cut off my limbs!' The cat immediately turned back to its previous form and ran away. The collar on his neck glowed too as it gave compulsion that he should return immediately. Stan ran away like the wind and swore that the scary lady was much more terrifying than his crazy ass human. A cold and ruthless killer that would murder you in a heartbeat with a beautiful smile on her face.
Thankfully, Rita did not give chase. But she of course wasn't the ultimate maid without reason. As she already attached a tracking device on the cat with utmost precision. Putting it on a place where the cat won't notice it.
'Whoo. That human is scary... I better get the hell out of here. This is the first time I'll be thanking you, my human.' He was thankful that the orders he received, probably saved his life. As his limbs were still shaky from the fear of being murdered in cold blood.
He felt complicated, as Stan was a very prideful cat. And he wasn't always a strong one, he became one through effort and bloody training.
Fighting for survival ever since he was young. The cat learned to respect the rules of nature. Strength is everything and if you do not respect it, then death will be your inevitable fate.
Learning that when he befriended a warrior, a soldier. Unfortunately, the soldier ran out of luck and died eventually. Then, he travelled from place to place as all cats do. Seeking power as his principles dictated that only the mighty rule the world.
Until one faithful day, he saw a peculiar woman wearing a black mask. 'I am an apex predator of this entire planet. But I still ran away...'
His pride was crushed and felt depressed. As he has trained under his human with all his might. Even experiencing unimaginable horrors that he survived through sheer grit. Stan then arrived at his base where his human was. A dark skinned woman with yellow eyes that exhibit a bit of insanity. (pic)
"Hmmm. You are lucky you are alive Stan, you shouldn't have engaged that woman in any way. She could've cut you up to thousands of pieces in a blink of an eye." The woman spoke to the cat and Stan's ears twitched from that information.
"Nyan, nya!" ('Who was that anyways? She always had a smile on her face, but I could feel her murderous intent on my body until now.')
"Rita Rossweisse, she's an S-rank valkyrie that rose through the ranks in a matter of days when she arrived at Schicksal. When she was barely a teen, a terrifying existence indeed. Ahhhh~ what I would give to know how her body has transcended the limits of humanity. I Leila Cleo, strive for that answer till this day." She got into her own world and Stan internalized the information, he was also used to the crazy monologues of his human.
'Well, at least she isn't as scary as her.' Stan thought of his human's overlord. A green haired woman that has an unsettling air on her.
And speaking of the devil, she entered the lab of Leila with some tasks for her to do. Testing her knowledge and thirst for it.
"You, research about this. I will test you on it later, girl." Mobius gave her some theories that had missing data that Leila would need to fill up. It was one of Mobius' favorite tests for her protege. She picked her up when she was just a teen, naturally curious about the world and how it worked. And most importantly, doesn't have morals just like her.
"Yes master Mobius, it shall be done." Leila replied with an excited tone, as she learned more and more whenever Mobius gave her tests. Getting closer and closer to the wonders of the universe. And her dream of creating life forms that are equal to herrschers.
"Hmmm? Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Mobius, as expected. Noticed the little cat that was nearby, especially because she loved small animals. And even had Hamsuke taxidermied so she would always see it in her room. Deciding not to make it live forever like the snake of infinity, Mobius. Not wanting to desecrate the memories she had with the very first pet of hers that was taken care of by her, Ein, and Klein.
Stan stiffened up as Mobius' slitted eyes zeroed in on him and felt terror. His animal instincts that had been honed by millions of years of evolution was screaming at him to drop down and show absolute submission.
Mobius licked her lips and thought the cat was cute. "Girl, is he your creation?" Mobius asked Leila and she nodded with haste. As her master never asked her a personal question before.
"Y-yes. That is correct, I have trained him throughout the years and have successfully given him honkai genes. Stan can transform into a honkai beast and contend with emperor class!" She quickly forgot her anxiety and explained how Stan came to be.
"Hoh? How amusing. Why are you so scared cat? Interesting, it also has high cognitive functions. Basically sentience, fufufu~ Good work girl." Mobius praised her and Leila was on cloud 9. Meanwhile, Stan felt like a small frog being stared at by a gigantic snake that wouldn't even want to eat him. Just trample on him like garbage that was on the road.
"N-nyan..." (Please don't kill me.) Stan lied down on his back and showed his belly, flattening his ears to appear non threatening as much as possible.
Mobius laughed and reached out to Stan. "Hmmm, you're pretty entertaining. Though not as cute as Hamsuke, speaking of my chinchilla. I want that done as soon as possible Leila, you already know. The emperor protects!" Mobius then left in a haste, wanting to reminisce about her pet with Ein. And it triggered her compulsions.
"Nyaa..." (I. I thought I was going to die again.) Stan unconsciously held his breath and gulped for air greedily. As Mobius' suffocating aura and honkai energy left from the vicinity.
'Her honkai energy is basically infinite... M-my human's master is surely not a being of this world. An overlord that can destroy us all with a whim of hers.' Stan couldn't sweat, but if he could. He'd be sweating bucket loads right now.
"M-master praised me... I-is this even real life? Or it's just a fantasy?" Leila couldn't believe it and looked at Stan. "You really are my greatest creation!" Leila cheered, not really knowing that Mobius just thought the cat was cute. Just like Phyllis' Canned Food, but the chubby little cat was always with Phyllis. Though it was now a biological menace code named primal murder whenever Phyllis wants to fight with him.
Leila then tried giving Stan some cat food as a reward. But the cat just ignored it, not having an appetite as it contemplated life. Having an existential crisis that beings like Mobius were roaming around the earth.
'And who is that emperor she talked about before leaving? What kind of absolute monster is that person that they could protect my human's master.' Stan wondered and thought that he wouldn't want to meet them.
Leila then looked at the picture of Rita on the wall with all the information they have gathered on her. "The two of those will be a major problem. We can't get the 2nd key with them around. But I've got just the surprise we'll need to get it."
Leila was not only obsessed with research like Mobius. Because she was in world serpent, just like her fellow members. Almost everyone worships the flame chasers like gods. And the technology of the previous era is like a gospel to them. And they now have the information about one of the most mysterious divine keys, the cosmic juggernaut.

The british museum suffered some small damages and Stan's transformation caused a ruckus of course. So Catherine immediately went to Rita that was already back to her casual wear. "Ms. Rita, what is happening here?" Catherine asked with a raised brow and saw the damaged floor. There were also a few fragile things that got destroyed.
"I believe that you owe me and many people an explanation of what happened here." Catherine's blood vessels almost popped and Rita smiled at her.
"Of course director Catherine. Apologies for this little mess, you will be fully compensated by Schicksal." Rita replied and the director sighed at her nonchalant attitude about the destruction of several historical artifacts.
The police showed up and investigated the scene. While Bianka went to Rita when she noticed that there was a commotion nearby the museum.
"Sup Rita, what mess did you get yourself into? That's very unlike you." Bianka wondered and Rita chuckled.
"Ara, it seems I've attracted quite a crowd to myself haven't I? Well, I have been attacked by an artificial honkai beast. And they will continue attacking if I proceed with my mission." Rita explained and Bianka nodded.
"Hmm, can't I just go with you then? We're comrades aren't we?" Bianka insisted that they complete the mission together, Rita smiled tenderly and shook her head.
"It's okay Bianka-san, continue with your vacation. This is your time to enjoy it after all, if I need help. Then you are just one call away yes?" Rita refused and Bianka shrugged.
"Okay, you said it. I can just swoop in quickly here after all if you call me. Bye then, don't take too long. I want to go back to Japan for a bit too. I haven't seen everyone for a month you know?" Bianka left and Rita nodded, also wanting to finish the mission quickly to go back to the HQ of Aesir.

At Aesir, Ein was currently being poured some wine by Ragna and he looked at Mobius' supposed protege. "She's just like you Mobius, I guess the world is big. I never thought I'll see someone like you, thought it did took thousands of years for someone to be born with immense thirst for knowledge. Thanks by the way, Ragna." Ein nodded at the maid still in training and Ragna bowed elegantly, almost a perfect maid as well.
"I picked her up when she was younger because the girl looks like she had potential. But you are correct, she's much more than that. I wonder what that girl would make with the current technology available? Of course, she isn't as great as me. And she is quite arrogant, but she could be still molded easily." Mobius chuckled and enjoyed a glass of wine as well.
"Mou~ Kalpas! You're not getting the correct angles!" Elysia was posing while Kalpas was the photographer. He was forced to do special effects for Elysia's social media. (pic)
Kalpas was holding a garden hose while fire raged behind Elysia. "Isn't it finished yet!? Damnit, why do I have to do this crap..." Kalpas grumbled and Elysia thought it was a bit much to expect from Kalpas. (pic)
Meanwhile, Su just enjoyed some time for himself and was shilling. Looking relaxed while he was under a parasol. (pic)
Mobius was all over Ein with her new swimsuit and was like a snake that coiled her prey. Looking cute and beautiful at the same time. As Elysia and Eden prepared it for her, Mobius for the life of her cannot pick good swimsuits after all. (pic)
MEI, for the first time in her life, wanted to tease Kevin. So she made him wear ridiculous shades and made him pose. While SAKURA guided him as they both controlled their laughter. (pic)
"A-alright Kevin. You look super cool, I think I'll fall in love again." MEI stuttered and almost sputtered out in laughter while SAKURA had a stone cold face on. But inside, she was overjoyed.
"Is this right SAKURA? MEI?" Of course, as the first Kaslana. Kevin still is quite simple minded if it was for MEI.
Ein gave MEI a thumbs up and they enjoyed their little vacation. Kalpas was finally finished with his pictorial with Elysia and sat down immediately, munching down on honkai beasts that were skewered by Soulium rods. "Damned Elysia, always doing stupid crap like that social media. What's the use of it anyway?" He took a peak on it one time, and immediately gave up on it of course. As it was a dark place that would poison the mind of the young and old. (pic)
"Hehehe~ come on Rita, Bianka. Finish your mission quickly or you won't get here in time." Ein chuckled as he relaxed on his chair, having a fantastic time, leaving all his work to the subordinates that they painstakingly raised to the peak.
