Chapter 141: Meeting The Parent

Himeko was currently daydreaming as she thought of her unofficial date with Ein back at her apartment. She sighed and was for sure down bad.

"Hah, Ein..." She slumped to her desk and she was called for a question. But thanks to Ein's help and books, she was able to answer immediately and went back to daydreaming.

"Hah, I sure want to taste his cooking again." She was super bored and when she thought of ways how to get Ein to notice her. She got a message on her laptop. It was a sighting of a possible in New Mexico and she was delighted.

And after classes, she immediately went to the teacher's lounge to find Ein and invite him. But he wasn't there. She then got sad, but she still wanted to search for the alien. So she quickly made her way to LA International airport to get a plane heading to New Mexico.

Ein just returned from his dive in the abyss and was about to head home as nobody appeared in his class. Because they were all confident they will pass the exams already.

But he noticed an ID on the ground. "Murata, Himeko. Hah, she must have lost it. That girl." He was about to contact her, but he had a notification on his phone that he forgot. As he hasn't used one for communication in a long time.

He read the text and saw that Himeko was going to New Mexico to try and find an alien. It was apparently sighted there and it was too good of a chance to let go.

"Hmm, she's at LAX." He disappeared to the ground and teleported nearby her location immediately.

He saw the redhead trying to buy a plane ticket, but she was refused as she was a minor and she needed her student ID to show that she was at least in college.

"Hello, there. Looking for this?" He went behind her and decided to tease her a bit. So he went close to her ears and whispered with a husky voice.

She gave off a squeak and immediately turned to him. "E-Ein. You scared the crap out of me." She got surprised to high heaven from his antics, but she loved the way he whispered to her ears as she got chills from it.

"Two tickets for New Mexico please." Ein then busted out his black credit card that had the mark of Aesir. Making their transaction so much smoother.

"You didn't have to pay for my ticket Ein. It makes me feel bad, after all. In our exchanges, it's you that has been losing." She pouted at him and he laughed.

"Well, I'm already here so why not. LAX will be contacting my private jet and we'll travel with leisure. Economy sucks you know?" His private jet was already on the way and Himeko nodded, having to sit for hours on economy sucked ass.

"Are you sure about this? Though I do think it would be much better if we land on our destination with style." She was conflicted and really wants to go there in a private jet. Wanting to experience it at least once.

"Wait a minute Ein. Are you perhaps interested as well to discover the mystery about aliens? Hmm, you worried people would discover that you are one?" She eyed him suspiciously and Ein smiled at her.

"I don't know~ Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Perhaps I'm a power ranger and the earth is protected by me. Nobody knows." He shrugged and Himeko was frustrated as she really thought he was some kind of supernatural being.

"Hey, Ein. I really want to see if aliens exist. I even made an extracurricular club at Caltech that specialized in finding any news about aliens. But nobody joined, can you be the supporting professor for the club? Pretty pleaseeee." She did the puppy dog eyes and Ein raised a brow.

"That doesn't work on me Hime. You could just ask normally you know? Don't worry, I accept." He patted her head and she was delighted. As he didn't brush her off and think her little hobby was stupid or childish.

"Hehe~ Really? I guess you're pretty interested too. Because you went with me and even used one of your private jets." She smiled and was in a merry mood.

"Eh, not really. Aliens actually exist, they're just in another dimension." He revealed to her and she didn't know if he was saying the truth.

"For real!? Give me some proof then." She huffed and was skeptical of course.

"Some things aren't meant to be known by normal people Hime. Maybe if you become exceptional? I'll show you the secrets of the world." He smiled mysteriously and her teenage mind just thought he was cool with her rose tinted glasses.

"Uhh, Umu. I will be, then you'll have no choice but to show me." She blushed and thought he was too smooth.

"Hey, can you show me what the coordinates of the sighting are? New Mexico is huge, we'll be going in circles if we were to just go in blind." He asked the place and Himeko showed him her laptop with coordinates.

'Wait a minute, this is a picture of Arahato. And this is in Santa Fe, a testing ground that Anti-Entropy frequents.' He thought it was a grave error from Lieserl and the others and they would seriously need some punishment.

"Okay, I'll land us at the landing site where the alleged UFO was sighted okay?" He quoted his fingers and Himeko nodded.

Ein then communicated with AE. "Hey, who one of you guys have been messing around with your mech? A student of mine is currently en route to Santa Fe to try and find Arahato you know?" He sighed and Nancy started sweating.

"It's okay, we'll just lure her nearby and bam! We do a memory wipe on her so she won't snoop around." Tesla suggested and everybody thought that was a bad idea. Because if Ein did not care about the student, he wouldn't even knew that she was going to New Mexico in the 1st place.

"I don't think that's a wise decision Tesla. The last time you used your memory wiper, the victims are still unconscious and they were delirious." Erwin commented as Tesla thought she was right.

"I'll contact Cocolia and let her deal with this. She's in Yellowstone right now and we would send her to New Mexico right away." Lieserl stated her plan and everybody agreed.

"You guys won't be coming out of this unscathed. This is still a slip that could've costed you a lot. Prepare yourselves, I won't be going easy on you." Ein told them and they started to get nervous.

Himeko and Ein arrived at Santa Fe and they were at the coordinates that Himeko showed him. But in front of them, is just a normal looking building.

"Seems like a bust. I guess you owe me one, you've basically tricked me to coming here too, no?" He snickered and Himeko pouted at him.

"Tch, this info came from a respectable blogger that wrote about extra terrestrials and their visits." She got a little down and he pinched her cheek.

"Well, that's what you get for believing nonsense in the internet. Remember to not rely on it too much, it will poison your mind and turn you into an anti-vaxxer too." The era of Anti-vaxxers were coming into play as less and less people died from preventable diseases.

"I'm not that stupid Ein. Hmph, but the coordinates sent us here. There must be something wrong with the GPS. Maybe we should broaden our search in the suburbs." She was stubborn and didn't want to give up just yet.

"I think I know where your supposed UFO is." He pointed at the front of the building and it was a poster of Arahato. Cocolia changed the building quite quickly and it matched the blurry picture Himeko received.

He gave a thumbs up to Cocolia that was observing them from a nearby building.

"Aww. This is just a waste of time. Sorry Ein, I know you're very busy. And I took a lot of your time." She felt bad and thought this was such a fail.

"It's alright, this would be a lesson for you alright? Remember what I told you earlier okay?" He patted her head and she got a little boost.

"Hmph, shouldn't you be making me feel better instead of giving me a lesson? But you're not even interested in aliens and you still went with me here to New Mexico... Is it perhaps, because you care about me?" She flirted and thought it would be a critical hit.

But she miscalculated greatly as she was good at math. But not a master of applied flirting. "Hmm, what do you think? Me, Einheri Aesir. Basically the owner of the world, comes with you here even if I knew it was a fluke. Maybe I do care~" He cornered her on a wall and whispered sweet nothings to her ear with a slight breathy voice.

She shivered and thought her brain would melt from his deep and rumbling voice. "Ahhh. R-really?" She looked up at him with expectation and he smirked at her.

"You're free to interpret it however you like~ My little Hime." He spoke to her in japanese and that was the last straw as she overheated.

Her mind and heart raced and thought that she needed to capitalize on this moment. "Ahh, by the way. Now that you're the counselor of my club. We have a new club event coming up. Did you know that NASA just announced a new asteroid named 499? I'll send you the details, it will be passing by planet earth before it collides with the sun." She rambled on and noticed that he was looking at her with a tender smile.

It captivated her and her mind went clear. Confidence filling her as she went on the offensive. As she put her arms behind his neck.

"And the best time and place to witness it, is with just you and me. It can be my birthday present, can you give it to me?" She said calmly with an expression full of expectation.

"That's how you should do it. I see that you're stepping up your game Hime. Hmm, I guess I can indulge you if it's your birthday~" He traced a line on her jaw and she shivered. Gaining her wits as she got embarrassed at her bold invitation.

"I see, great! I will be expecting great things from you Ein." She said, blushing an atomic red as she ran away to cool off for a bit.

"Hah, that was smooth. I guess she's learning a bit." He smiled as he saw her enter a cafe and immediately went to the counter.

"I see, you like them young huh? You really made me go here to protect that young lady. You bad man, is having the others in Yellowstone not enough for you? You damned beast." Cocolia went to his side and decided to tease him a bit. She was a little angry that he was flirting with a college student, a minor at that.

"Somebody's jealous I see. I like them both young and mature Cocolia, well in your case. You're a bit of both as you haven't had a boyfriend with your little temper." He teased her and she glared at him.

"What did you say!? I do not have a short fuse, hmph. I just focused on my career and taking care of the unfortunate orphans." It was true, but she was also headstrong and too intimidating.

"Whatever you say Cocolia, thanks though. Let's play with Bronya again later, I'll make you guys the best e-sports team ever. You can ask anything from me because of your help today." He patted her head softly.

She swatted his hand away and squinted her eyes at him with a bit of resentment. "You'll have to give me your cooking for a month. Then we're even, your little headpats won't work on me mister."

"Ohh, then how about this." He gave her a little shock on her nape and she mewled from the unexpected pleasure as she covered her mouth in a hurry.

"I guess that's super effective? Thanks though, I'll make it up to you later." He waved his hand and she glared daggers at his back. But her expression got softer and she gave a wry smile.

'You better, but you've done enough already.' She remembered that he offered the refugees back in Siberia a place to live without question and the orphanage that she supported was without a scratch due to their help. 'Hah, it's hard liking a popular man.'

She sighed heavily as she thought that holding him down was impossible. Accepting the inevitable.

At Shicksal HQ, Himeko's father Murata, Ryusuke was currently spearheading a project that would heal the lands of Siberia after the 2nd honkai war.

They've found the 4th divine key. A satellite from the previous era that according to ancient texts healed the earth after the battle with the 14th herrscher for millennia.

But it was damaged and its reserves was drained. From siphoning the honkai and terraforming earth to a habitable planet again.

He watched the screen as they ran the key of convalescence for a few months and Siberia has successfully been rid of at least 50% of the honkai energy that lingered there.

"Good work director Murata. It seems that the 4th key from the past era has been a godsend to purge the honkai from infested areas." Tilie praised him, but she was thinking of other purposes for the satellite. As she was not a charity case.

"Thank you lady overseer. It is an honor to work with this. But it seems that the satellite hasn't been repaired fully. And its functions are starting to deteriorate. We have to repair it and in the downtime, I respectfully ask for a vacation so I can see my daughter. She studies at north america and I haven't seen her for some time." Ryusuke wanted to see his daughter as since he became the head of the project years ago. He hasn't had meaningful leisure time with his daughter.

And he even left his dying wife to get here. And her birthday was just around the corner. He might miss the actual date, but he could still congratulate her and celebrate for the new semester.

"Just a family visit, is there anything else?" She was skeptical as Anti-Entropy is very active in America.

"Are you using this family visit to hide other plans?" She used Fenghuang down and Ryusuke looked like he was dazed.

"No, lady Ottilie. I'm not joking, I just want to see my daughter." He immediately replied and Tilie squinted her eyes at him one last time. 'I guess he isn't lying.

"Sorry, director Murata. I shouldn't doubt your motives, happy holidays. But do be vigilant, Anti-Entropy is very active in North America." She then left.

A ball of sentient energy then ate the feathers of the mimicry of Fenghuang down. Able to protect Ryusuke's mind from the effects.

It was the new semester and Himeko was the 1st place in grades. As over the months she interacted with Ein, she got more and more of his books and lectures. She also received his nutritious food more and her body was being perfected genetically by his ministrations.

She was excited and looked at Ein with a beaming smile. Staring at his form while he taught the class. 'I can't wait, it's been a month since our trip to New Mexico. And what do you know, our little club activity coincides with my birthday.'

She was really happy with the coincidence and daydreamed about their would be date. Someone poked at her cheek and it was one of her friends. She noticed that Himeko was staring at him intensely.

"Hon, I can see that you can't take your eyes off Dr. Ein." Her friend whispered and Himeko squeaked, embarrassed that she got caught.

"I, I wasn't looking at Dr. Ein. I'm just staring at the equations! Yes..." She made excuses and her friend smirked at her.

"Sorry captain obvious. But your face is blushing, don't worry about it though. Every girl here at the campus agrees that Dr. Ein is fine as hell. What you won't do to have that stud for a day no?" She replied and Himeko squinted her eyes at her.

She chuckled and thought Himeko being jealous was cute. "Look right here, I have the evidence." She took Himeko's journal and read it to her.

"Me and Ein agreed to go stargazing and observe the new asteroid NASA discovered. Tch, what is this? This is so romantic, now I'm the one getting jealous."

Himeko groaned and snatched her journal back. "Ugh, it's not a date! We're just observing a celestial body. Me and Dr. Ein just have similar interests okay?" She glared at her.

"Studying celestial 'bodies?' Or are you studying other ones too? I mean, look at that hunk. Hot damn, the fly of his pants is straining to contain his hidden weapon." She wiggled her brows at Himeko.

"It's not a freudian slip." Himeko rolled her eyes and the bell rang.

"Okay, classes are done. You know the drill, you guys are the best class here at this course now. And I expect you to maintain it, see you again." Ein stopped the classes and he would tease Himeko later as he heard their conversation crystal clear.

"Hey, I gotta give this plan to Dr. Ein, I gotta catch him okay? He mysteriously disappears all the time after classes." Himeko was suspicious of his origins and she needed to give her plan for their activity immediately.

"Go on girl, don't let me keep you. Nab your man, send me pictures when you two get freaky okay?" Himeko then left in a hurry.

"Hah, that must be what it means to be young. And she was rejecting guys left and right. They didn't know Dr. Ein was the competition, there will be a lot less couples here if Dr. Ein keeps working here."

Himeko caught up with Ein and gave him her folder that contained her plan to stargaze. "Dr. Ein! This is the comprehensive plan for our little club activity." She beamed and her excitement was infectious.

"You're a bit too excited Himeko. Is there something special happening?" He played dumb as he knew her birthday was the day they planned to go out.

"Ahh, you got me. It's just a little special day professor. Don't mind it, read it. Come on, I worked hard for that you know?" She impatiently waited for him and he speed read it.

"Hmm, impressive. You'd even bring telescopes?" He was honestly surprised that she put a lot of effort on it. From the optimal place to view things, to the equipment they'll be using.

"What's with that little comment huh? You don't think I'm reliable?" She raised a brow and was a little pissed.

"You did go to LAX without your ID." He shrugged and snickered at her. Making her blush in embarrassment at defeat.

"Just... Just come okay? I've been waiting a long time for this." She said seriously and then went home to prepare herself.

"Hah, such an eager little lady." He smiled and EINSTEIN went up to him with a knowing smile.

"She's quite different from the captain no? She's more feminine, but also quite similar. Stubborn and probably has a lot of grit, I wonder if she's also a masochist like what Elysia told me." EINSTEIN heard of HIMEKO from Elysia and Eden, while Eden gave fond stories of her. Elysia told her that HIMEKO was a hard masochist.

He gave a wry smile and chopped her on the head. "That's a weird thing to ask EINSTEIN, though she does kind of have the tendency. Sometimes, she's submissive and breedable." He nodded sagely and remembered Himeko almost always falls under his pressure and gets excited.

"Yosh, I look amazing. I kinda look like a teacher right now, heh. It matches with his current profession. Will he like it?" She fidgeted in front of her mirror and then noticed the time so she coughed. "Okay, calm down. I need to be calm and cool, or he will think I'm lame." She took a deep breath and put a newly bought telescope in a suit case. She then went of the house, she saw a nice car waiting for her downstairs.

"Nyahallo Hime, looking mighty fine if I do say so myself. You cosplaying as a teacher?" Ein chuckled as he opened the trunk and put the telescope inside. She wanted to meet up at the place. But he of course will treat a lady right and pick her up, especially if it's her birthday.

She wasn't surprised, because he was the type to go above and beyond. But now, she wasn't prepared on what to do so she just went quiet and entered the car when he opened the door.

There was a pleasant silence as they drove through the night. Enjoying the ambient lights until they reached their destination in a couple of minutes.

"We're here, why are you so quiet? Normally, you'd be quite talkative?" He patted her head and she got nervous, so she took a deep breath and smiled at him.

"It's nothing... Just quite a bit surreal now that I think about it. You're the Aesir after all, I never expected that you'll be pretty chill. Cool and amazingly rich, but still like a human. Everybody paints you as this amazing guy that is a world treasure, solving problems left and right." She was getting cold feet and Ein noticed it.

"Hmm, you getting some doubts on why I do this?" He took out some foldable chairs and gestured for her to sit down.

She nodded and thought their short time together was like a dream. "Yeah, if you compare the two of us. It would be like heaven and earth. I just don't get it now that I think about it." She thought she might be pretty and sexy. But a man of his caliber would see women like her a dime a dozen.

He flicked her forehead and she got teary eyed as she rubbed it. "Hey! I'm just saying. You know, it's surreal in my point of view." She was anxious and Ein sighed.

"Don't sell yourself short Himeko. When the world is practically yours, you'd appreciate the small things." She didn't understand and he expounded further.

"I'm going to be honest with you. I'm quite the greedy man, I have lots of lovers actually." He shrugged and she was shocked. She kind of expected it, but knowing it definitively was a different ball game.

"And the things they've achieved would be so astronomically higher than yours it isn't even funny. Eden for example, she is known as the voice of heaven. Even the top 0.01% of people can't even meet with her face to face without her permission. She is the definition of a diva. Elysia, the owner of Pink Allure is tied with Eden for the spot of the woman the world wants as their wife. Women and men alike, a world class beauty that could start wars with her charm. Vill-v industrialized the world, she is the reason why humans all over the globe could enjoy a leisurely life with technology. Pardofelis, could topple entire continents to anarchy with just a swipe of her finger on her computer. Economies would crash and of she withholds products to a place, they would be destroyed in a matter of days."

She listened intently. Himeko researched about Eden and the other members of Aesir. And she had her suspicions. Especially Eden, the one he had a lot of public appearances with. But it still put her down, hearing what her competition could do.

"But do you know why they're my lovers? What keeps them above the rest? It's because they love me too. We've been through a lot, through thick and thin. They had my back when I was down, I had theirs." He let her digest his words and waited for her thoughts.

"Why then? Why did you give me your time? Your effort? I may be smarter than average, but that's all I have besides my looks." She genuinely didn't know and wanted answers.

"Hah, at first. It was because you look just like one of my lovers. Have the same name too, you look just like her when she was your age. Especially when we were still together." He explained and she bit her lip.

With her teen angst, she immediately stood up and went up to him. Grasping on his shirt as she shouted with tears in her eyes. "Then am I just a replacement!? Because I looked like her? Maybe she left because of you flirting and collecting women!" She had an outburst and he smiled wryly.

"Ahhh, no..." He went silent a bit and Himeko thought he couldn't even be bothered to give excuses.

"She died. A long time ago." He took out a can of beer and drank some. "Wha?" Himeko didn't expect that and went silent.

"She was a sweet girl. Kind, brave, strong. She was a little kinky too." He laughed and he looked at the stars.

"But she's different from you. Everyone is unique, even if she did look like you. You're reckless, impulsive, happy go lucky. But do you know why I bother caring for you?" He asked her as they made eye contact.

She shook her head and was confused. Why did he choose her then. "It's because you're fun to be around. I feel happy when I'm with you, plain and simple. You're you, Murata Himeko. An aspiring girl with big dreams, not HIMEKO, the girl who was a soldier and fought for peace. No matter the cost, even if it was her own life." He stood up and thought of letting her gather her thoughts.

"Happy birthday Himeko." He took out a necklace that acted as a defense. Able to survive attacks or phenomena that could potentially destroy bubble universes. And put it on her.

"See you around." He walked back to his car, but before he could get far. She ran after him and pulled him back to his seat.

"We're not done talking mister. What do you mean when you're happy with me? Does that mean you like me? What, give me an answer." Himeko thought he was being unfair and wanted to hear him say it outright.

"Yeah I do, duh. I forgot that you just turned 18." He sighed and thought teens were troublesome. So he just winged it and put his hand on her chin. He then gave her a soft kiss.

"Does that answer your question? I can do more you know? Let me give you some advice, if you feel like I'm an ass and want to leave. Then leave, if you're conflicted. Then why not become mine?" He smiled at her and waited for her to restart as she froze.

She then remembered the times they spent together and thought she was never happier. "I want to meet them, your lovers I mean. If I'm getting into this circle of yours, then I want to talk to them and get to know them." She really liked him and couldn't let go, so she wanted to talk to the others later.

"Done." He informed every single one of them and he gestured for her to sit down. "So, you're accepting to be mine then?" He teased her and Himeko blushed heavily.

"What, do you mean being your girlfriend? Honestly, I'm skeptical. But I don't think someone like you would ever come again. You bad man, why did I have to like a playboy?" She sighed and he tapped his lap.

"Come here, I'll show you something amazing." He smiled at her and she slowly sat on his lap with a bit of reluctance. He then augmented her eyesight and she could see all the stars and celestial bodies with ease.

"Woah... Wh-what did you do?" She relaxed as she got enamored by the milky way galaxy and Andromeda.

He put his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulders. "I told you right? Maybe I'm an alien or something. Pretty cool isn't it?" He whispered at her ears and her heart beat got faster.

She pointed at the asteroid as she saw it and excitedly gushed about space. And when she finished talking, she saw him looking at her with a tender smile. 'Maybe he does love me too.' Himeko got lost at his verdant green eyes. As she leaned into him and closed her own, satisfied with their retreat. She then played with her new necklace, a beautiful ruby with no blemishes whatsoever, matching her crimson red hair.

"Ein, is it weird if I told you I love you. I can't help it, you're handsome, smart, rich, a good cook, kind. Even though you're apparently a playboy. You ass, making me fall for you hard." She pinched his thigh and he chuckled.

"Yes, it is weird. But based on my charms, it would only be natural no? Don't worry Hime, everyone has their own charms. And I like you just the way you are. I own this world, achievements, wealth, power. None of those matter to me, you are free to love me without worry. As you would be mine, I never let go of my possessions you see?" He gave a light kiss on her neck as she mewled.

"Un... Thank you for the gift, this is beautiful." She admired the gem.

"Come on? I'll make you something, it is your birthday. I need to create something wonderful don't I?" He smiled at her and she got excited.

They rode his car and went back to her apartment. He let her stay put and went to do his magic. Preparing a dish that's appropriate for the occasion, he made a beef wellington and Himeko had stars in her eyes when she saw it.

He put it down on the table and opened a bottle of his best wine. "Now that you're 18, you can drink with me. Well, this is just wine though." He clinked glasses with her and they enjoyed a nice meal.

Himeko then started to stretch, as she had a long day. "Hmm, are you tense? Of course you would be. With those in front of you, do you exercise? Having a strong back is needed for those you know?" He chuckled and Himeko pouted at him.

"Yes, my back hurts. I'm pretty sure they grew a couple of sizes. Wait a minute, they started to increase in size when we met." She squinted her eyes at him and he shrugged.

"Might be because of my food. They aren't only delicious, they're super nutritious too. All of the nutrients must've went to your boobs and not on your height." He laughed and she gave her the stink eye.

"How about I help you relax your shoulders and back? I'm also a super duper pro at massages." He suggested, she nodded and lied down on the sofa.

"Okay then, work your magic." She said impatiently as he started. It was better bare, but he was flexible.

She hummed in delight as he made her sore muscles feel relief. "Ohhh~ Right there, I've been having these problems for some time now. Big boobs aren't as glorious as girls think." She sighed in satisfaction at his ministrations and he chuckled.

He finished the relatively quick and simple massage, but he did use a little electricity to make her muscles loosen up nicely.

"I feel like a million bucks! What in the world did you do?" She was plagued by sore shoulders after she hit puberty. His little massage helped tremendously, making her suspicious.

"Magic is what it is." He then lied down on her lap. "Now I want this, it's the law of equivalent exchange." He reasoned, and she giggled at his antics.

She then looked at his face while his eyes were closed. "What are you looking at?" He asked as he felt her gaze.

"Nothing, you just look so pretty." She stared at him and thought he was probably a miracle in her life. As he made her happy like no other.

She then glanced at his lips and wanted to have another kiss, as she didn't register the earlier one. Thinking that it doesn't count.

So she gave him a small peck and had a healthy blush on her face. "That was terrible, your lips were sideways and I only felt it at the middle of mine." He sat up and faced her.

"Well, I thought it was romantic and intimate. You don't have to be mean about it." She huffed and glared at him.

"Hmm, then I should say sorry then." He put her on his lap and went up close. "Forgive me, I'll give you a proper one." He put his hand on her jaw and guided her for a kiss.
