Chapter 117: NA Branch MIA
Back at Welt and the others. They looked on at the tsunami that was coming at them as they arrive at Manhattan.
"Everyone, behind me!" Welt made energy shields and the wave crashed at them. But the bulwark held true and the water quickly vanished with a swing of Reanna's lance.
"Damn... Nancy did it huh? At least she went out like a hero." Einstein said solemnly as she knew the tsunami was the result of Edison carrying the bomb below the ocean to reduce casualties and damage.
"Yeah... She did..." Tesla still had tears in her eyes and frowned once again as she was reminded that the wave signified her death.
"Let us go. Time is of the essence and we would need to help anyone that had problems with the tsunami." Reanna urged them to go and everybody nodded.
Finn then appeared along with Joachim and he stopped them with a guilty look on his face. "Everybody, forgive me... It's all my fault, Edison's equation for the moonlight throne was tampered by me. Schicksal ordered it and the overseer threatened to hurt my son." He said to them and everyone gasped.
"This... Then this is all your fault!? Come here you fucking bastard!" Tesla was outraged and wanted to beat him up, but Schrodinger held onto her and shook her head.
Reanna then felt a compulsion, like a random thought in your mind. But it quickly went away, it was Tilie's master switch on her Soulium body. But Ein erased her program and replaced it with another.
"Let us go brothers and sisters! I smell daemon scum! A heretic must have summoned them! No mercy for the emperor's enemies!" She then ran around like a maniac and began killing any honkai beast in the area.
"What the hell happened to Reanna?" Einstein asked as she was a calm and collected individual.
Nobody knew what happened to her, but they surely don't want to know. And after a few dozen minutes. They have helped as much people as they could. But a party pooper came and brandished a golden cube on her hands.
"Greetings everyone. It seems we are at odds no? You've grown too powerful, and that won't be good for my plans you see?" Tilie appeared and everyone glared at her.
"You... You killed Nancy!" Tesla pointed at her with anger, but she replied with Shamash and fired at them. Fortunately, Welt was able to raise a shield quickly. But Finn got wounded and fell down on the ground.
Schrodinger then made clones of herself using null energy instinctively. As she was also exposed to the sea of quanta like Nancy. She then tried stabbing Tilie with her clawed hands, but the blonde created a copy of black abyss and locked themselves in a standoff.
Schrodinger tried overpowering her, but it was futile. Meanwhile, Welt immediately held on to Star of Eden and brandished it. Gaining more understanding of the weapon and tried something immensely powerful with gravity. A black hole. (pic here)
"Schrodinger! Get out of there!" He created a quasi black hole, but it lacked power as he haven't mastered using the key yet. He tried sucking in Tilie inside the black hole, but she quickly made a copy of Shamash in sword form and stabbed it onto the black hole.
It got overpowered and it fizzled out. "Einstein! Tesla! Get the hell out of there! You can't help Welt and Erwin! Get Finn and Joachim out of there immediately!" Emma appeared on a chopper. Using a megaphone to let them escape instead of watching on.
"Sadly, you won't be leaving here." Tilie created a copy of the Oath of Judah and binded everyone. Welt started to lose strength as the weapon was super effective on a herrscher. The tip of the chains stabbing deeply on to him.
As he contemplates how to get out of there, Tilie shot down Emma's chopper and it went spiraling out of control. "Emma-nee!" Welt struggled violently and he bled like a faucet from the wounds he got.
Reanna then arrived and caught Emma's chopper with giant vines that softened the fall. She threw abyss flower at the blonde overseer and Tilie blocked the blow by using the copy of Judah, shattering it into pieces.
"Cease your heresy! Taste the wrath of the emperor vile cur! Die!" Reanna tried stabbing Tilie with her lance. But she willed a copy of the 10th key and parried the blow. She then turned it into the pistols of Shamash and fired rapidly at Reanna.
"Tch, I must escape from here quickly." Ottilie then used an aerosol that made Soulium malfunction for a bit and immediately ran away, a prepared chopper was nearby and she successfully escaped.
Reanna froze on the spot, like a pair of rusty gears that are unable to move. She then saw Welt and the others, utterly weak from the effects of a copy of the golden cross Judah.
"No matter, I must get rid of them remotely then. Launch the honkai fission missile on New York, I will be long gone and far away when it arrives." Ottilie called HQ and Schicksal has raised alert levels to 0. Now, they have permission from the overseer to fire honkai fission missiles.
The gang celebrated that they won the battle. But it was cut short by Ada's words. "Schicksal has entered alert level 0. And a ballistic missile is on the way to Manhattan. Estimated arrival, T-minus 5 minutes."
Everybody paled and didn't know what to do. It was even worse as Schrodinger started to quantize from using null energy, glitching as she disappeared slowly. (pic here)
"Erwin, what's happening to you!?" Lieserl went up to her even though she was injured and was losing blood. Schrodinger just looked at her body and frowned. She then disappeared like smoke and was sent to the sea of quanta.

"Oops, can't have you disappear there. It would be a pain to find you Erwin." Ein fished her out of there before she could enter the abyss and absorbed the excess null energy in her.
"Wha? Ein-nii? Nancy!?" Schrodinger was confused and she then saw Nancy, alive and kicking. "What's up Erwin." Edison raised her hand and greeted her, not sure what to say to her either.
"What the hell happened!? I thought you died?" Erwin shouted at her and immediately hugged her tight. "Well, Ein-nii happened is what. He just went swiggity swooty and took care of the reactor." Nancy thought it was still confusing as she explained to Schrodinger.
"What? I don't follow." Ein then raised his hand and they went silent. "Shut up, you should sit back and watch the show. Popcorn?" He offered them some popcorn and a drink. They then looked at each other and thought he must have it all in control.

The gang back at the center of Manhattan were panicking and thinking of a way to escape or save the city. Reanna, now able to move after a few minutes thought of a plan.
"I'll take care of the detonator so it won't explode. You shield the city just in case the missile does explode while in midair." Reanna said to Welt and he nodded. He started raising a massive shield with all of his honkai energy and a blue lattice appeared above Manhattan.
Reanna nodded in satisfaction and thought this was a fitting end for her. Saving a city in exchange for her life. She activated her thrusters on her legs and back as she was a cyborg and flew to the missile.
She used abyss flower to disintegrate the detonator located at the body of the missile, but the warhead contained immense amounts of honkai energy and it released tons of heat. As it was using the principles of Selene to become a thermonuclear bomb.
She was bathed in immense heat and her Soulium body started melting. She then closed her eyes and smiled. "Hah, I guess this is my last mission then. What a shame, I would've liked to die as a normal human. At least I had a 1st kiss." She touched her lips and smiled at the annoying Ein in her memories.
She then thanked him, even though he stole it. Reanna was able to experience something remotely normal in her life as an ultimate soldier.
"Hmm, you can thank me directly you know?" She then heard his voice and thought she was hallucinating. "Great, I can hear his voice inside my head. Wait a minute, shouldn't I be dead right now?"
She opened her eyes and saw that she was in front of Nancy, Schrodinger, and Ein. Surprising her greatly. "Welcome to heaven Reanna. You have served me well. You sure did gave the heretic hell." Ein teased her.
She cringed as she remembered spouting those ridiculous lines and the other two snickered at her. "It was you!? Damn you, what the hell did you make me say!?" She fumed and Ein patted her head.
"Good job though, it was quite the heroic scene. Am I right girls?" He smiled at her and Reanna got embarrassed. They saw Reanna's monologue and immediately went an atomic red.

After the bomb disintegrated, Welt went down and leaned on a piece of rubble to rest. He then looked at Einstein and Tesla, they were unconscious from their wounds.
Joachim then went up to him and put pressure on his wounds from Tilie's attacks. "Welt-nii! You'll be okay! I'll take you guys to the hospital! Lieserl-nee and Tesla-nee too along with dad!" He started crying and Welt patted his shoulder.
He chuckled and felt dizzy. Losing tons of blood, even though he was a herrscher. Did a number on him and his honkai reserves were dry.
"Boy oh boy... The price of freedom is steep Joachim." Welt then put his hand inside of him and took out his herrscher core. Passing it to the next generation.
"Embrace your dreams... And whatever happens, protect it. As the new herrscher of reason. I want you to inherit my legacy, my name. How about Welt Young?" Welt smiled and gave it to Joachim, he then combined his name with the boy's surname as he used his mother's.
The boy looked at it and held it tight. Welt then handed him Star of Eden as well and he started to disappear. Turning into particles of light and left Joachim as the new herrscher.
"I promise! I will not fail!" Joachim shouted at the sky and immediately started to get the others into safety. Emma also appeared, a bit injured. But otherwise safe and fine after crawling out of the destroyed chopper.
They then dragged the others to safety and went to their base's medical facility to heal up the wounded.

"Hey kid. That was a nice speech you had going there." Welt got patched up by Ein and the young man looked around. "Everyone!? You're alive!" He stood up immediately and hugged them tight.
"Yeah, they are. Now how about we get Emma and the others? I'll show you something amazing. My secret is out anyways, so whatevs." He shrugged and went to get Emma and Joachim.
Ein teleported right behind Emma and tapped her on the shoulder. Making her scream in fright and almost died of a heart attack. "Kyaa! Hah, hah... Ein? What in the world are you doing here?" She was confused.
But then she remembered the wounded and quickly gestured him to help them. "Oh, they're fine. Just a flesh wound." He then teleported them back to Japan and they disappeared from Manhattan without a trace.

"Welcome, to my humble abode." Ein pointed at his log cabin and everybody that was awake stared at him in suspicion. "What? It really is my home, but you gotta see the basement." He then led them to the entrance of the base while Finn, Tesla, and Einstein floated because of him. Freaking out the others.
They went in an elevator and it went down. When the doors opened, everybody gasped as they saw the advanced tech. The place oozed scifi and Emma grabbed him.
"What is this place? Is there perhaps a lab here? I want to see!" She shouted and got excited when she saw the technology around them. "Well, yes. But there are tons of them, for all different purposes. So you'd have to take a look at all of them." Ein told her and they continued with the tour.
Everyone then saw Li Sushang training. As it was now a routine in her life that would never be taken off forever. "Ein! Who are they?" She asked and was curious about the newcomers.
"Ahh, these are my students. And along with them is the 1st herrscher. Guys, this is Li Sushang. I would call her the greatest hand to hand combatant in the world. Excluding me of course." Ein laughed as he introduced Sushang and everyone shook her hand.
"Hey, nice to meet you. Especially you kid, you should train more. Could use a bit more muscle and strength. You look like a girl, and you probably hit like a little one." She bluntly said to Welt. He flinched, as Welt relied mostly on his powers and divine key at the battle of New York.
"She's right you know? I could probably break your face in with my bare fists quite easily." Reanna supported Sushang's claim and chuckled at him.
"You look just like my age. And you don't really look that much... Stronger." Welt observed Sushang more clearly and he saw that she was ripped. Slender and lean, but still voluptuous and feminine. Making him admit defeat as she looked like an athlete that was prepared for the olympics, only that she's like that 24/7.
"Heh, I look awesome right? Ein trained me every day of the weekdays for hundreds of years kid. You should eat more and get some gains." She patted him on the back and thought the only girls he would get are hussies with his pretty face and lanky ass body.
Welt then nodded slowly. And the tour continued, they were currently in the training room after leaving Einstein, Tesla, and Finn in the med bay. The normal people saw Kallen and Sakura duking it out.
"You getting rusty Sakura!? Come on! Boost!" She raised her power twice and her gauntlet crashed onto Sakura's blade. The peanut gallery couldn't see their moves, but they felt everything as violent quakes made them fall down.
They all fell down on the ground and Ein had to make them float. If it was measured, the quake was about magnitude 11 in energy and everybody's jaw dropped from the power of just one clash that wasn't even that strong, relative to their full power.
"Hmph, begone!" Sakura raised her blade that looked slow to the observers, but when she swung it. The air around the Yamato glitched and the trajectory of the blade sliced everything apart. Making Kallen dodge it with haste.
"Um, Ein-nii. Are they trying to kill each other? Looks like it." Nancy asked nervously and the others agreed, it was the first time they've seen world breaking fights.
"Well, they aren't. They really can't use their full power on earth, it has to be in space or in the sea of quanta." He shrugged and they couldn't imagine it.
And as they got over their shock, they then saw another thing, or in this case person. That made them choke on their spit. "Ein, I just saw the girl that looks like me. She'll be fine, of course. Minor wounds and the like." EINSTEIN appeared and reported the condition of those in the med bay.
"Lieserl?" Nancy, Emma, and Welt immediately asked as they got confused. Though she had violet eyes and longer hair than Lieserl with a tuft of red hair in front.
"I'm Lieserl from the future, nice to see you again guys. You haven't changed one bit." EINSTEIN trolled them and everybody thought she did look a bit more mature than Lieserl.
"Wait, who's my brother that looks just like this guy." Emma squinted her eyes and pointed at Welt. Asking a trick question. "He isn't your brother, Carl's your cousin. Stop doubting and just accept it." Ein gave her the answer and Emma was losing her mind. As she agonized about their lie that she was Lieserl from the future.
"Are you really Lieserl? What happened to you? Why do you look so different? What about Tesla and the others in the future?" Nancy bombarded her with questions.
"Actually, me and Tesla combined together. That's why my eyes are violet and I have this tuft of red hair in my bangs." She shrugged and everybody couldn't make sense of it.
MEI then appeared and sighed at Ein's antics. "Stop tricking them Ein. She's not Lieserl from the future, she's actually from the past era. Alongside all of us, well. Except for a few like Sushang and Xuanyuan. She's EINSTEIN by the way." MEI introduced her and she just nodded and left.
"That's still weird as hell. She looks just like Lieserl..." Reanna commented and the others agreed. "It isn't that big of a deal. Welcome though, to the multiverse of madness."
Ein raised his hand and SAKURA also appeared. Confusing them more as they just saw her training with Kallen. But she had fluffy animal ears on top of her head.
"What in the world is happening here really?" Reanna, in her long life has never experienced something this weird. As she thought everything that happened so far when they stepped inside was confusing as hell.
"Enough chit chat. Let's get you all a good rest and a change of clothes yes?" He showed them to their rooms and everybody prepared for more unbelievable things that would come.
