Training Rias...?

She steeled herself, standing amidst the ancient trees of the woods, their towering forms casting eerie shadows as the dim sunlight filtered through the dense foliage.

The air crackled with anticipation, a palpable tension weaving through the forest like an invisible thread.

She reached deep inside herself, grasping a faint presence that seemed illusionary

"Admin-san! I will defeat you!"

Rias shouted passionately, her voice reverberating through the ancient grove, a faint Aura of destruction flickering around her being.

Now she felt better than ever! This rush of adrenaline mixed with the magical power that was welling up inside of her was making her all fired up!

"Heh"

Witnessing her emotional transformation, Adam chuckled, his silver hair shimmering in the sunlight.

A smirk played at the corners of his lips as he stood opposite her amidst the gnarled roots and moss-covered stones

"Come Rias! Prove that you don't need the Gremory family!"

Opening his arms wide as if to embrace her impending attack, Adam's grin widened, a glint of challenge in his eyes as he gazed upon her slightly glowing form.

"Prove that the Gremory family needs you!"

His words hung in the air like a dare, beckoning her to defy expectations and prove him wrong

"A challenge I shall gladly accept!"

A similar grin emerging on her face, the red-haired girl hardened her resolve, the destructive red magical aura around her flashing more brightly in response to her will

And then....

BOOM

The ground trembled beneath her feet as she launched herself toward her opponent with unprecedented speed, becoming a blur of motion amidst the shadows of ancient trees.

Adam's eyes widened imperceptibly as he raised his sword to block her attack, the silver blade gleaming as it met the crimson fury of her assault.

"Hehe"

Amidst the clash of their blades, Rias giggled melodically as she saw the Admin-san's expression.

She poured more power into her strike as her arm transformed before his eyes.

Clack

Their swords met with a resounding clash, the sheer force of their clash sending shockwaves through the ancient grove.

The silver-haired boy managed to block her sword, his own bluish-golden Aura flickering around him as he was forced to take two steps back by the intensity of her assault.

Despite his efforts, he found himself being pushed back by the relentless force of the red-haired girl's assault.

Surprised by that, he looked at her, Alpha stigma instinctively blaring to life as he tried to see through the reason behind her power-up

"You..."

Violet five-pointed starry eyes widening, he opened his mouth in surprise as he looked at the busty devil's arm. A trace of astonishment flashed in his eyes

"Did you just... manifest pure destruction through your arm?"

The silver-haired boy's astonished voice reverberated through the clearing, his grip on his sword tightening as he beheld the marvel before him.

Rias glanced down at her right hand-

From the previous slender hand that contained surprising strength... It had now transformed into a blackish-red limb that pulsated with an aura of raw power, It was as if she had harnessed the very essence of destruction itself, shaping it into a tangible form.

However, instead of a simple element like water or fire, she 'elementalized' part of her body into the element of destruction

"Wooooow!" She squealed excitedly, bringing her destruction-filled and glowing appendage up to her face as she examined it with stars dancing in her eyes

Clap

"Congratulations"

With a clap of his hands, Adam's eyes returned to their usual blue hue, a proud smile gracing his lips.

His sword floated behind him with telekinesis, The raindrops around them seemed to lessen in number, as if the weather was calming down in response to the end of their battle

"You unlocked your Semblance... By yourself"

Rias is an otaku, no doubt about that. And now that she just unlocked a cool Semblance thing that she has only seen in anime (or maybe somewhere else in her supernatural world?), she would obviously be excited

As for why she only unlocked her Semblance and not her Aura?

Perhaps the rules of this world allowed Rias to achieve the same feat as her brother through her Semblance, which helped her achieve this form in a weaker, but less energy-intensive state

Then again, that sounds a bit far-fetched…. But still, he is happy for her

"I expected this..." The silver-haired boy continued, deadpanning at her, clearly anticipating her excitement based on one day he had of knowing her

... He also expected her Semblance to be something like this. After all, with her nature as a devil and her power of destruction, it would be weird if her Semblance(and Aura) was anything but chaotic and destructive

But.... What truly surprised him was the nature of the ability she had just shown

"Is this...." The red-haired devil tilted her head "My semblance? Taking the form of pure destruction like my brother?"

"Mostly"

She looked at Adam who spoke up, looking at him curiously as she assumed that their battle had ended under this development

But just to make sure-

"So if I beat you with this, will it count?"

"No"

Riad pouted in disappointment as he replied harshly. Although it does make sense, as their previous match was pure swordsmanship, and they only used their body without any magic

.... But her semblance shouldn't count, right?

"Rias"

Adam's voice cut through the tranquil atmosphere, a ray of sunlight pierced through the cloudy sky as if to illuminate his imminent approach. His sword trailed behind him, following in his steps.

As he drew nearer, his eyes shone with pride, a warm smile gracing his lips as he regarded her.

"Yes?"

The busty devil questioned him as he reached her.

The silver-haired boy remained silent, observing as her destruction elementalized arm slowly reverted to its normal state, the flickering red and black aura fading away

She kneeled slightly, her face pale from exertion and the strain of wielding her newfound power without the aid of Aura...

And her wounds played a part too, sending stinging pain signals to her brain as the adrenaline of that battle faded off

"I'm proud of you" The silver-haired boy's smile brightened, seemingly filling the gloomy forest with light "But you shouldn't grow complacent. Develop your semblance, and continue training diligently"

With his posture upright, Adam stood bathed in the warm glow of the sun behind him, casting a radiant aura around him as he knelt before her.

His hand gently found its place atop her head, emitting a soft, comforting glow that enveloped her.

"Yet.... I believe you can surpass your brother... But only if you put your mind to it"

Stroking her hair softly, Adam spoke quietly, his healing spell emanating warmth throughout her body, soothing her pain.

Exhaling slightly and feeling herself regaining her lost stamina, Rias leaned onto his comforting touch, her wounds healing rapidly as the signs of the previous intense battle faded

The Admin's lips pursed slightly, his eyes conveying a silent light of acknowledgment

When the healing glow faded, Adam withdrew his hand, rising to his feet as he finished restoring her to a state of wellness.

"Here"

Speaking up after a period of silence, the silver-haired boy stretched his hand at her, offering to help her stand up

...….

"..... Ah...."

A sound unwillingly escaping her, Rias' cheeks flushed with embarrassment, turning the same color as her hair as she finally realized the weirdness of her current behavior

"Y-you...!"

She spoke out hesitantly, her eyes radically looking anywhere but his outstretched hand. To say that the busty devil was embarrassed would be an understatement

"Yes?" Adam raised an eyebrow at her reaction, seeming nonchalant as always

Biting her lip, the red-haired girl meekly grasped the silver-haired boy's palm, accepting his help. A warmth transferring over to her from his palm as she stood up with his help

"T-that was..." Rias stuttered out, her embarrassment evident as she placed a hand on her forehead. "... So embarrassing!"

She can't believe she just leaned into the touch of someone who fought and injured her a moment earlier!

Was she so tired that she instinctively sought someone else's comfort after such an emotional roller coaster!?

"Haha"

He chuckled at her, his grip on her hand tightening, yet remaining firm and gentle.

"Don't worry Rias" He reassured her "Everyone needs to be comforted sometimes, especially after hearing all those negative things..."

"That doesn't make it any less embarrassing!"

She retorted strongly, her body slightly trembling with a mix of emotions at the fact that she had gone from a violent lioness to an obedient kitten who was seeking comfort from him!

Is she, Rias Gremory, such a girl?!

"Ahem"

Adam's cough interrupted her spiraling thoughts, drawing her attention back to the present moment.

"Now that you have the motivation…." Adam continued, his tone shifting slightly "it's time for your next stage of training."

"Really? Why?"

She arched an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued by the sudden change in direction.

Wait a minute-!

"Wasn't this a competition for that sword-?!"

"Indeed"

The silver-haired boy interjected in her questioning, his hand lifting into the air before flicking his finger with precision.

"Uh.....?"

She uttered in confusion, watching as the sword she held gently slipped from her grasp, getting propelled towards Adam.

It joined his own sword, suspended in the air beside him through telekinesis.

With a subtle twist of his hand, a familiar abyssal vortex emerged from Adam's palm, swallowing both swords in its dark embrace.

When the vortex dissipated, the weapons were nowhere to be seen—just as expected.

Adam regarded her with a serious look, his eyes aglow with magical intensity.

"It's time for training"

He declared, crossing his arms over his chest as his voice echoed through the grove.

"Why?" Rias challenged, one hand resting on her hip as she tilted her head in confusion. "And what do you mean by 'training'? Are you going to train me?"

"That's..." Adam's eyes widened momentarily, before returning to their usual composure "That's indeed correct" he admitted in a subdued tone.

Crossing her arms beneath her chest, Rias mirrored Adam's stance, narrowing her eyes at him. "What's with that tone? Why are you surprised?"

"I'm surprised that you figured it out"

"What do you take me for? Do you think I'm stupid?!"

"I take you for a lazy and spoiled girl that falls in love too easily, even with perverts"

"Wha-! I'm not a girl who falls in love easily! I'll have you know that I have high standards!"

"Really? Do you want to know what your anime self did, then?"

"...."

"Surpassing my brother in strength and stomping that disgusting Riser Phenex to death? "

"....."

Seeing the speechless expression of the Admin, Rias let herself relax, her tenses nerves loosening as she found comfort in this back-and-forth banter

To be honest, this was the first time in a long while that she had felt such happiness. This situation was far more enjoyable than anything she had experienced in her own world.

….Sure, she missed her peerage members, but not having to be pressured by her family to marry a person she was disgusted with felt incredibly refreshing.

A small smile began to form on the redhead's face, her emotions breaking outwardly as she savored the moment of enjoyment and satisfaction.

In a world where her family name didn't matter, and where she could be with someone who didn't care about her status as the little sister of Lucifer….

....She would be lying if she said that there wasn't a warm feeling growing in her chest.

But that was just happiness from forming a pure and equal friendship without pompous people being mindful of her status, right?!

A/N:

This chapter was... more difficult to write than I imagined

To be honest, I'm concerned about Rias' character. I don't want to make her annoying, yet I also don't want her to stray too far away from her canon self, even with her currently being 2 years younger in this fan fiction

In short, I want to keep things accurate and not make her an OOC. Her character will indeed change... with character development, obviously

And from this chapter, I believe most of you know what direction I'm taking this.

But until then, did I show her personality correctly? Or did I change her too much?

Anyway, beyond that, I hope you enjoyed this chapter
