After eating, Adam went to buy twice as many ingredients as in the past with Kiana in tow.

When they finished, he said goodbye to her and went into his own living space where he could get some privacy.

In his own room, Adam's eyes were currently golden with a violet five pointed star as he activated his Alpha stigma, which was staring intently on his right hand.

After a couple of seconds, an ice sword condensed on his palm.

'So that's how he does it, by slowing the atoms themselves. With his massive honkai energy capacity, Kevin should theoretically be able to stop time like Esdeath from Akame ga kill.' Adam thought as he analyzed the ability of the Kaslana family that was hidden deep in its genes.

Kevin is a Flame chaser from the previous era, the strongest one to be exact. He is also the ancestor of the Kaslana family, the same one who is at the forefront of the battle against the honkai. 

Kevin became a half-human half-honkai beast with the genes of the Emperor-class honkai beast Parvati which granted him his immense power, and more importantly his ice powers that have the potential to rival the Herrscher of Ice.

"If only that guy bothered to learn physics and science..." Adam shook his head and sighed at how wasteful Kevin was, because unfortunately, he was only a warrior and nothing else.

Still, even without knowing any science, that guy was the strongest being in this world, easily surpassing even Herrschers in terms of strength… For now, at least.

His golden eyes stared at his hand as the sword shifted into a circular ice ball.

"Still though, I have to thank Siegfred..." Adam murmured, as he was very thankful to Kiana's dad for allowing him to get this ability.

When they shook hands, with the help of [Great Sage], he planted a harmless virus that copied that creepy uncle's genetic code, and then he could copy his DNA and add it to himself.

Still, he didn't know if that worked as Siegfred had awakened the Kaslana family's hidden power that was only possible through a trial. So because he was short on time and couldn't figure something better, he alternatively drew a drop of blood from Siegfred so he could analyze it and use [Gluttony] on it to get the ice powers.

It was a calculated risk, because although he was confident in running away and escaping, he wasn't sure about his chances of winning against that guy.

Thankfully, the way Siegfred activated the Parvati factor that was in the Kaslana genes was done forcefully through an imperfect serum, so it wasn't that hard for Adam's virus to infect him and get a copy of his genetic data with his current capabilities.

He also did the same to Kiana, and from her, he got the Schariac's special ability to better manipulate honkai energy more comprehensively that she got from her mother, Cecilia Schariac.

Because he is a higher life form (Herrscher) compared to a human, and including his somewhat unique biology that he got from RIN due to her being the Herrscher of corruption, he could alter his own biology a lot more flexibly.

"Still though...." Adam remarked as he played with the ice ball he created, he didn't really want to go over his limits and risk his body failing on him. It would be a lot better if he could transform all of those powers to skills from the Tensura world.

"For that, I would need to evolve in that world somehow and get all my abilities defined into skills..." Adam said out loud as he realized how daunting that task was.

"Oh well, for now I should get better at my corruption and my newly acquired ice powers."

Adam was currently staring at the number of points he had. He felt very conflicted about his choices.

By watching with the Alpha stigma how his powers interact with the world, he could gather data and improve on their usage. So he didn't think he was in any danger in the honkai world.

After all, Durandal could punch an emperor level honkai beast and defeat it with just her body. His own body should be able to surpass her as he is a Herrscher (Or an Immortal human, according to his status sheet.)

The only thing to do now is exercise diligently so his body gets stronger. But that would take a long time.

He wasn't in any danger, so a power up isn't a priority for now. He could choose to spend his points to visit another world or spend it on the Gacha.

From what Adam gathered, the reason the Gacha costs the same as the world traveling card is because all the things one could potentially get are considered 'good'. The C.C character card he got and Monika's Tear stigma are obvious examples.

Or maybe not, he doesn't have enough data to know for sure.

"Let's spend my points, then." He murmured as he has already made his decision.

The familiar golden card emerged in his hand, waiting to be commanded so it would transport him to the world of his choosing.

Golden eyes stared at the card. The purple five pointed star in his eyes was spinning faster, and several rotating five pointed star arrays spread out on the space around the travel card as the Alpha Stigma tried to analyze a power beyond its understanding.

Great Sage: Sage Link

Adam felt the world stop.

This was a skill he developed with [Great Sage], in this state, he could access the skill's processing power. He could think and process things magnitudes times faster than previously. With his newfound capabilities, he focused on analyzing the card.

And then... like a bomb exploded in his mind, Adam, whose spirit was shaken and shocked, seemed to be in the vast universe. Endless images flooded in, and they were as bright and beautiful as a kaleidoscope. He saw countless worlds with countless possibilities.

Just when this huge information was about to soil Adam's consciousness, Great Sage took action as the Code engraved in the depths of his soul emitted a faint red light, and the observation was interrupted the next moment.

"Puff!"

Lying on the sofa as if he had been hit by a shock, Adam was spitting out blood. No, not only that, his mouth, ears, and nose were all spilling blood, but only the eyes were the ones that did not bleed.

There were blue veins popping up on his forehead, his eyes were tightly closed, and he looked extremely strained.

When the boy slowly licked up the traces of blood left on his lips, he opened his eyes again, his pair of golden irises glowing in joy.

"Haaah... Haaaah"

With rapid breathing to soothe the shock he just received, the half-dead silver-haired boy smiled excitedly.

Unexpectedly, the travel card with only 100 points would contain such a terrifying amount of information. In the two seconds just now, Adam seemed to see the truth of the world.

It's a pity that the picture just disappeared in a flash, and his consciousness was overwhelmed by the vast information, it was only thanks to Code he got from C.C's character card and the SageLink, otherwise Adam's consciousness would have been severely damaged.

However, looking at it from another perspective, without the Code, he would not have rashly carried out such a deadly move.

Staggering towards the washroom, he began using his skill [Water control] to wash the blood off his face, he then dragged his weak body back to the sofa, Adam closed his eyes.

Adam sighed while resting "I guess I need to get stronger... Or get the Tear stigma somehow." He said, not disappointed at all as his gains surpassed his expectations.

His own Alpha Stigma isn't the same, it is modified for a reason, after all. His eyes can analyze "Mystical Phenomenon", the travel card and the Herrscher powers are also included in that category.

"I wonder..." He opened his eyes once again to look at the golden card.

Adam raised his other hand as a purple tinted black vortex emerged from his outstretched palm and sucked in the world travel card.

"..."

He sighed in relief as he found the golden card safely tucked away in his [Stomach], without anything unexpected happening.

Leaving it there until he decided to visit a world again, he stopped the SageLink and his eyes went back to blue.

A short sword with a chain link tassel appeared, floating in front of him.

Adam's eyebrows twitched as he saw what he got from the Gacha. 

'I was previously talking about Esdeath... And now...' He didn't finish his inner thoughts as he grew frustrated.

"The Chat Room is mocking me..." He sighed in exasperation.

He raised his hand towards the short sword and let his [Gluttony]'s purplish black vortex devour it.

The Demon sword: Incursio is a teigu from Akame ga kill, it has the ability of Adaptation and Evolution. When evolved at a certain point, it will allow the user to transform into a dragon.

That was because the teigu was made out of a beast that is a dragon. Truthfully, Adam doesn't know or care, the only thing he was focused on when he watched Akame ga kill was Esdeath.

She is pretty hot, after all…

'When you finish analyzing it, use [Gluttony] and just devour it.' He ordered his skill.

[Affirmative]

Adam knew very well that Adaptation and evolution was a precious and overpowered skill to have, so he didn't intend to waste something as precious as Incursio.

He only put it in his [Stomach] temporarily to analyze it and learn how it was created and if it was possible to reproduce it.

Although he doubts it, he thought that if he found a beast that could adapt and evolve, he could make something similar to incursio. Now that he thought about it, it was quite like sacred gears from High School DxD.

Still, now that he has finished, he would take a short nap until it was time to cook dinner for himself and Kiana.

'This week will be a busy one...' Adam thought as he realized that he still has many things to do.

His beautiful blue eyes turned into glowing blue draconic slits.

'That was quicker than I thought...' he was surprised at how little it took to analyze this armor.

He will get the analyzed knowledge when he sleeps, so he will naturally understand why it took so little time by then.

'Although in comparison to that world travel card, the Incursio armor is like an ant....' He shivered. Just thinking about his close encounter with death was enough to drench him in cold sweat.

He closed his eyes once again and stopped thinking. He was too tired to continue along with this train of thoughts.

Summer vacation is over... Now I will have to deal with exams

As I will a lot busier now that vacation is over, my schedule will be more packed, and I won't upload chapters as frequently as before
