"Eh? What will you eat in school today?" A girl's surprised voice was heard

In his dormitory, Adam and Kiana could be seen sitting opposite to one another. There was a bento in front of Kiana that she looked hesitant to open

He handed his own bento that was prepared by him to her

"Isn't it obvious? I won't go to school today" He replied

Kiana looked a him in confusion "Why? Aren't you supposed to go everyday or something?"

Adam sighed as he looked at her silly face

"I asked for leave" He finally replied

"Eh?! You can do that?!" Kiana's eyes glowed as she heard his reply

"Of course you can, you don't even need to explain why you want to leave school for a period of time. Of course, you have a maximum amount of time you can be absent from school, otherwise you'll have bigger problems" Adam patiently explained to Kiana

"Really?! Ahh! Now I really want to go to school!" The Kaslana's eyes lit up as she suddenly became a lot more cheerful than she was previously

"Well, I don't think you will be able to join, but I appreciate your enthusiasm"

Kiana put her hands on her hips as her eyes narrowed

"Are you saying that I'm too stupid to get accepted?" The young warrior voiced out in suspicion

"Heh, you said it, not me" He chuckled

"Mou, stop making fun of me Adam-senpai!" She pouted as she crossed her arms in front of her

"Cute..." Adam muttered out unconsciously

"Adam-senpai!!" The girl shouted as she glared at him with her pout still on her face

Although to Adam, she just looked like a cute angry cat whose tail he stepped on

"Ehem, I asked for leave because I had something to do today" He quickly changed the subject

She visibly perked up at that

"Huh? What are you going to do Adam-senpai? The only things I see you doing are going to the gym and going to school!" The white haired girl asked in surprise, completely forgetting her previous embarrassment

"Oh? How do you know exactly what I am doing every day?" He asked with a smirk on his face as his eyes glowed with mischief

"W-well I-"

"Are you perhaps stalking me?" Adam ruthlessly interrupted Kiana

"W-who is s-stalking you!!" Kiana face took a red hue that reached her ears

"Haha I'm joking! You are just concerned about your beautiful and caring senpai, aren't you?"

"O-of course" The Kaslana knight replied quickly without a second thought

"Of course! of course! Now I have to leave and do my thing. I hope you don't stalk me again" Adam said in an joking tone as he quickly turned to leave the dormitory

Kiana's instinct warned her that something was wrong. And as she processed his previous words, she came to a realisation that made her face heat up again

"Y-you.." The unawakened Herscher muttered in a daze

'And... That's my cue to go' Adam thought as he started running towards the exit

"ADAM-SENPAIII" The warrior screamed in a mix of embarrassment and anger

"Well... That was something" Adam muttered as he went towards the outskirts of Nagazora city

He didn't know why Kiana acted like that with him. It wasn't like they knew each other for a long time, after all

It would normally be impossible for two people of the opposite gender to have that deep of a relationship after knowing each other for a few days

'Maybe I'm so handsome that Kiana has taken a liking to me?' Adam couldn't help but have such narcissistic thoughts

Of course, the MANTIS transformation took his looks to a supernatural level, add to that the character card of C. C he integrated....

His looks definitely surpassed anyone in this world as far as males went

It might have also been because of his Vishnu genes. Sirin can feel that he is 'touched' by honkai so maybe Kiana, who is basically Sirin, is unconsiously more comfortable with someone of her 'kind'

Or maybe it was his geass at work

Or maybe it is all of the above combined, which made it much easier to get along with Kiana and forge a deep bond with her

Besides becoming more handsome, he also had C. C's immortality. It was similar to Fu Hua's immortality in that regard, as he could heal from anything fatal or non-fatal wounds given enough time

Of course, his head being chopped off might cause him to lose a few memories, but that's a small price to pay for not completely dying

By using C. C's ability to grant geasses, he also unlocked his own personal geass

It's definitely something that suites him, but it might have a passive effect that affects people around him even if he is not actively using it

As he thought about his geass, his eyes strayed to a billboard that was showing an advertisement, with the date in the upper corner

So, Adam decided to try something that he wasn't planning of even trying before he got the character card

As he reached his destination on a barren part of the outskirts of Nagazora city, he made sure that there were no people around and that there were no cameras that can record him

Although going to another world would stop the time in the honkai world, it still wouldn't prevent a camera catching him vanishing for a split second

And Adam didn't want to take any risk, especially with people like Otto and an organization like World Serpent out there

The instant he made his purchase, a small gold card appeared in his right hand

'It's cool and all... But how do I use it?' Adam questioned to no one in particular

He is sure the process isn't complicated, as the Chat Room so far has been the type to make things simple so every member could understand it

So he tried the first method that he could think of

He closed his eyes and concentrated... And then mentally selected and pictured the world he wanted to go to

With a flash of bright light, Adam disappeared from his previous spot

Of course, no one was there to witness this

After all, it was time for Adam to visit his first world and get more powerful
