"AH-!" A shout left me as my opponent used my disadvantageous position to throw me over her shoulder
I immediately tried to get up-
But a weight straddled me as I dropped to the ground
"Ha! I got you this time!" My opponent said victoriously as she gazed at me with her ocean blue eyes radiating pride
"No, you didn't" I smirked at her as I got ready

I tried to make use of this chance and use my secret weapon, I raised both of my hands-
"Hehehehe- S-stop-hahahahaha" The one who was on top of me fell down on me and lost all of her strength as she started giggling uncontrollably
I used my unique technique that guaranteed victory every single time
"Super secret technique: Tickling no jutsu!" I declared to the heavens while switching positions with my opponent so I was on top
"N-no- hahahahaha- T-this- hehehehehe- I-is u-unfair-hahahahahaha" My opponent tried to say between her giggles as she writhed under me
I grinned as I looked down at her-
Clap....Clap.....Clap.... Clap
A clapping sound reverberated through the surroundings as a mature woman started approaching us
"Wow Adam, I didn't expect you to use such underhanded means to win..." The mature woman praised me as she stopped clapping
I let go of her as I stopped the use of my secret technique and decided to have mercy on my opponent
"Well, I'm not like her who could easily brawl with an adult man and win" I rolled my eyes and said in a sarcastic tone at my temporary teacher
"B-but! Teacher Ragna, that is unfair!" My opponent complained with a red face
Although I couldn't tell if that massive blush was because of embarrassment or anger... Or both
"All's fair in love and war, Bianka!" I replied smugly with a smirk on my face
"Hmph!" That was the only reply from the blond haired girl who started sulking afterwards because of her defeat

For the first time after countless days, Adam opened his eyes to find himself on his bed... And with extra knowledge in his head, as always
"Heh, A flashback dream? Really?" He muttered with a chuckle
"Oh well, they were good memories, so I don't particularly mind" He continued talking to himself.
"Oh hey, you have obtained all my memories, right?" He asked suddenly
To everyone else, it would seem like he was a crazy guy as he was talking to the air, but...

One figure is of a handsome silver haired boy with beautiful glowing blue eyes
The other figure is a beautiful girl with purplish-black hair and indigo eyes

But the black circles under her eyes couldn't be hidden
"Can you please remove the '-kun'? I'm from Siberia, and I'm still not used to these mannerisms" He dropped the subject and went for another question, he didn't want to make her uncomfortable for something unimportant
It has been bugging him quite a lot, all those '-san', '-kun' and '-senpai' are not something he is used to. Even though he has lived years in the Far East and Nagazora city, this doesn't remove the memories and the habits of his previous life
"Of course, Adam. I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable" The fallen heiress once again gently replied to him
"Anyway, I made you this bento, I hope you enjoy it" She continued as she put the bento she was carrying all this time in front of her
"Huh? What about you? If I eat your bento, what will you eat?" He asked her in surprise
"... It's alright. I ate before school"
Looking at her tired eyes that were full of expectation, Adam sighed
"Very well" He wryly smiled as he went for a bite from the bento
When the food reached his mouth-
"....!" His eyes widened in surprise at what he was tasting
"H-how is it?" Mei asked him worriedly after seeing his reaction, fearing that he didn't like the food
"Mei, this is good, a lot better than what you cooked the previous time" He smiled as he sincerely praised her cooking
He was surprised at the taste, it was good. He should have expected such rapid improvement from the future Herscher of Cooking
"You really have a talent for cooking, I'm quite envious, to be honest" Adam continued, truly envious that she was able to improve so much in such little time
"I'm glad" Her tiredness seemingly vanished as she smiled happily with relief in her eyes, watching him eat the food she cooked
Evidently, a friend being happy because of herself obviously pleased her
When he finished eating the food Mei cooked, he put the bento aside and stood up
She looked up at him with her indigo eyes radiating confusion
He looked at her with a serious expression "Mei, did you sleep last night?" He asked her sharply
She flinched at his tone, she opened her mouth to lie, but she closed it in the end after seeing his serious eyes
"N-no" She answered, hanging her head down
Adam sighed in exasperation "Come" He said, opening his arms and beckoning her
"What...?" Mei looked at his open arms incredulously, unbelieving of the fact that he wanted to hug her
"Well, you deserve a reward, right? You worked so hard, I would be a douche not to thank you" He smiled at her, as if stating the obvious
She hesitated for a moment, before ending up accepting his offer
She stiffly wrapped her arms around his neck and put her head in his shoulder, he on the other hand, wrapped his arms around her willow waist and applied a subtle healing spell
"Ha-!" Mei gasped as she felt all her fatigue melt away
She melted into his hug as she sighed in contentment
After a while, they separated
Mei looked a lot better now, her tiredness had vanished along with the black circles under her eyes
"Adam, what was that?" She asked curiously
Evidently, such a magic display amazed her, especially now that she still hasn't become a Herscher
"Magic~" He winked at her and said with a grin
"Fufu~" She giggled at his answer, covering her mouth with her hand
It was interesting to see Raiden Mei laughing and smiling genuinely even after her father has been imprisoned and her life took a turn for the worst
'Maybe my charming presence puts her at ease?' Adam arrogantly thought inwardly
