21 Becoming a Herrscher...?
When the Herscher of Corruption threw that fireball at Adam, the fight started
The Herscher lunged at Sakura, taking her by surprise
Even though she didn't expect it, she still managed to unsheathe her sword in time and block the attack from the fox
Say what you will about her, but she is a good fighter, even though her profession is a Miko
Sakura was caught of guard by the attack, and thus was thrown backward
When she recolected herself, she looked at the giant fox in front of her in confusion
That giant fox gave her deju vu, it was making her have a familiar feeling
It still didn't stop her from putting a swordsmanship pose, as she realised that what was in front of her was the enemy
The fox looked at her pose and laughed "HAHAHAHA! It's no use Sakura! I will defeat you just like all the times before this!" She mocked her
"All the times before...?" Sakura was hung up on the last sentence she heard
Some unpleasant memories started appearing in her head
"Don't you remember?! All the times I forced you to watch your sister and Kallen die in front of you?!" The fox continued after seeing that Sakura was starting to remember
"Hehe! Here! let me help you a bit!" The fox said as it did something
"Wha-" Sakura didn't get to finish her sentence as countless of memories emerged in her mind
She remembered
She remembered the countless times she had to kill her sister
She remembered the many times that she was forced to witness Kallen's death
*CLACK*
This sound echoed through the stigmata space as her sword dropped to the ground
Sakura gritted her teeth as she clutched her head in pain
Tears were forming in her eyes as she shivered by remembering those painful memories
...
She dropped to the ground and fainted, as even someone like her couldn't handle this pain
"HAHA! Now is my chance!!" The Herscher laughed in happiness as it swiftly crossed the distance between her and Sakura's fallen body
Just as she was about to touch Sakura's body, countless threads emerged from behind her and enveloped her entire body
Step.... Step..... Step.... Step
Foot steps sounded from behind her
"You know, if all of your colleagues are as stupid as you, then humanity is just too incompetent to be destroyed by Herschers" A mocking voice came from behind her
[Sentient game character: Ow~ That had to hurt]
The fox turned her head...
And her red eyes widened "It's you?! Didn't I kill you?!" She asked in a shocked voice
Adam narrowed his golden eyes "Do you think that someone who can come here is so fragile to die by a mere fireball?"
When she heard that, the Herscher struggled to get out of its bindings
But it was no use...
After all, it's not that easy to escape so many [Steel threads] that are enhanced by both Magicules and honkai energy
Adam, that had his palm open until now, started slowly closing his hand into a fist
"AAHHHHHHHH" The Herscher screamed as she felt the bindings tighen on her body
He stopped when his hand had half formed into a fist
[Exhibitionist: Is this really someone who can destroy the world?]
[I'm a slime, so what?: She looks so.... Pitiful]
"Haah" Adam sighed, he had a complicated expression on his face as he looked at the struggling Herscher
He didn't hate her
After all, she is what she is today because of the incompetence of humans
He knows about the back story of RIN from the previous era, and he knows that the only reason she became a Herscher is because of the mistakes of humanity
Still, Adam couldn't bring himself to care. He couldn't bother trying to reason with her as that would be almost impossible
Still, he felt a little bad for her. And that's why he won't completely kill her
"Goodbye, RIN"
The Herscher completely froze as her red eyes snapped to him in surprise when she heard him say her real name
But... The only thing she saw was a purple abyssal cyclone coming toward her and engulfing her whole before everything faded to black
[Advocate of gender equality: Did you kill her?]
It is expected of him to ask such a question. After all, despite him going to another word, he still has the values of his previous one and is still reluctant to take a human(ish) life
Adam looked at the camera beside him that captured every detail of the short fight
"I didn't. She will stay in another dimension for now until I find what to do with her" Adam said as his now blue eyes turned to Sakura
[Schizophrenic spider: Another dimension? That's useful....]
"Same with her" He said as he raised his other hand to allow his black cyclone to envelop her too
"Now...." He faced the camera "The situation has ended, so I will end the Livestream"
[I'm a slime, so what?: Huh?!]
[Sentient game character: So soon~? I want to see your face more~]
[Schizophrenic spider: I see. It's good you didn't die~]
[Exhibitionist: It's a pity... It was so interesting that I wanted to see more... it's like watching an anime]
[Advocate of gender equality: .....]
After seeing all the messages, Adam mentally closed the live stream
[Devourer (Admin) finished streaming and got 130 points]

He snapped his finger as reality once again shattered around him
When he opened his eyes again, he found himsels inside the shrine, where he was before getting sucked in the black box
The little prop that took him in the stigmata space was in front of him, laying innocently by his side
Adam raised his hand and used gluttony to devour the box
'Great Sage, do an analysis on RIN, Sakura and the soulium black box' he communicated with his skill
[Affirmative, Analyzing....]
Adam hoped that he could get some skills from RIN without devouring her. He also hoped that by analyzing the soulium contained in that black box, he would be able to create soulium of his own and maybe even create some divine keys with an alternative to a Herscher core
Even if he couldn't, it would still be a win for him. Soulium is a very adaptable metal, and anything he creates out of it should be the closest thing to indestructible. It is like the vibranium of honkai impact , although it can't be compared with the original thing
What he did was indeed a risk, but with the sub-skill [Isolation], he didn't have to worry about the diseases that the Herscher would potentially create
While Great Sage was doing its analysis, Adam decided to do something he never tried before
He inwardly went into his [Stomach]....
There weren't many things present. The most notable of which were the Herscher, Sakura and the black box. Out of all these things he focused his sight on RIN
And for the first time since gaining his skills, he used the [Degenerate] skill in conjunction with the knowledge that [Great Sage] analyzed
RIN split into two parts. Using analytical appraisal, he could see that one of them contained all of RIN negative emotions, while the other one contained all the positive and good emotions, even though it was currently just like a blank canvas
Adam devoured the RIN that contained all the malice, and he left the other one alone
[Race: Human ------> Immortal Human]
"That's it...?" Adam murmured as he saw his race change
Becoming a Herscher was quite underwhelming..... Although he has to take a sample of Mei's or Wendy's DNA to make a comparison
As for RIN, because she was inside him, he could see all the malice for humans in her heart. But beneath all of the malice, a small good and positive remained hidden. He used [Degenerate] to seperate those two emotions to two different individuals, and then used [Gluttony] to absorb the malice and hatred filled RIN
"I suppose this is my payment for not completely absorbing RIN and killing her in the process" Adam muttered out loud
[Analysis complete]
He closed his eyes as he felt his body changing, and his mind being filled with information about what RIN was made of, Sakura's genetic code and about the structure of the black box and its supposed program
He opened his eyes again as he felt two extra ears on top of his head twitching
No, Adam didn't use mimic on Sakura. On the other hand, he used the Herscher of Corruption's power to to overwrite his own genetic code and add parts of Sakura's DNA to himself
He knew exactly how his own and Sakura's body was made due to the knowledge he got from Analysis, so it wasn't that difficult to do something as simple as that
'Now all that's left to do is learn more about this power' Adam muttered to himself as he saw Sakura and RIN still being unconscious
Maybe he could do the same to them as what Rimuru did to Veldora, although he isn't sure if a Miko is interested in manga

A/N:
This the first actual fighting scene I have written, and I have to say that it isn't the best
I still didn't want to drag this out, as Adam's can overpower RIN quite easily, and his abilities also perfectly counters her
