A human and a spider, fighting monsters together

With the sound of high-speed sprinting, the figure of the white spider disappeared in place, turning into a blur. Using the behind of her body to spray spider silk, she used it to form a spider web and cover the lizard monster that was about to attack Adam.

The figure of the monster resembles a gray lizard with a length of more than 1 meter. This was a highly toxic creature. The toxin it produced was much stronger than the current Shiraori, but as long as she evolved again, she could surpass it.

It is particularly good at using earth magic, but it didn't pose any individual threat to either Shiraori or Adam. Unfortunately, this monster often attacked in groups.

Side stepping to avoid the monster's pounce, Adam swung the icy blade on his hand, easily cutting the monster in half from its waist.

It didn't even have time to react as it died. After all, Adam was a Herrscher and a half-baked mantis, in combination with the sword he created with his ice, the monster could be cut in half like a knife cutting through hot butter.

Without turning around, Adam once again swung his sword behind him. An arc was all there was seen before a severed head flew up from behind him as the monster that attacked him died once again.

Without any change in his expression, he stretched out his other hand that wasn't holding the sword, he slowly put his palm forward as a lance of fire manifested.

He didn't say anything, he just aimed the lance at a nearby monster that was still struggling to walk on ice.

Herrscher RIN used fire attacks when he was in the stigma space, and as he devoured a large part of her, he naturally inherited this ability.

There was also the fact that these kinds of fire attacks can be learned with a couple of skill points. Of course, he doesn't need to spend points, he could just observe a monster make a fireball with his Alpha Stigma, and he would naturally learn it too.

Without needing to chant anything or shout out a cringy line, the flame lance flew out of his palm straight at the monster and killed it.

A red bird flew out of his now red pupils as it launched itself towards the five monsters closest to him and controlled them.

Seeing the five red eyed monsters returning to the group of monsters and biting their own kind, Adam frowned a little.

Although this wasn't necessary, he still did it to practice and test the limits of his Geass. But using it also exhausted him faster than normal.

"Shiraori, there are too many of them. Do you want me to go all out?" He consulted his partner.

"Eh? Sure" Shiraori complied and went towards the monster which seemed like the boss with a blur.

From her mouth, she started spouting additional spider webs that she used to stick to the monster's leg as it continued to struggle getting used to fighting on ice.

"Yosh! It's done!" The spider said with her big pink eyes blinking as she stuck her tongue out and motioned him with her legs.

Adam showed up behind her and looked at the monster that was freely sliding with its legs bound by webs.

He moved his leg, an ice spike manifesting behind the boss monster and pinning it in place. After it was immobilized, he flicked his hand, and as countless ice spears emerged into existence, he mentally commanded them forward.

As those ice weapons pierced into the boss, bringing it closer to death, Adam flicked his other hand, sending a wave of malicious black fire to other monsters that might be close to him and the spider.

"Wow~, you are so... Strong!" The spider said in admiration as she was obviously impressed by his display.

After a while of back and forth, and a little help from the tired spider, all the monsters that were there previously were eradicated.

"Shiraori, you lead the way ahead, I have absolutely no idea where we are now." He said as he looked around at the unknown surroundings.

'...' Adam took a while to process those words as he was speechless.

While walking towards Shiraori's house, they kept talking and laughing while bantering with each other.

Even though they were currently in a dungeon full of danger and could die at any point, they still managed to laugh and smile by finding comfort in each other's presence.
