Emergency Mission

"This place is the Garden of Schariacs. Each section of this garden has a different environment to help in the growth of the flowers." Ana declared as she walked towards the garden.

Edward followed behind her and observed the flowers. He tugged on Ana's shirt. She turned around and saw him pointing towards the signs under the flowers.

The sign had the name of the flower but also had the name a member of Schariacs on it.

"That... Is the name of a Schariac. Each of these flowers signify a member of the Schariacs."

Edward then started reading the names of the Schariacs until he came across a large area consisting of a single kind of flower. The entire area was covered with white lilies. The sign gave the name of Cecilia Schariac. He kneeled on the ground and ran his hands through the flowers. He knew that his DNA came from Cecilia, but he knew almost nothing about her. Suddenly his body seized up not moving an inch. He looked behind and saw another large area consisting of the same flower. He recognised the flower as Cascabela Thevetia. A poisonous flower. But instead of the natural yellow colour, this one was specifically bred to be a mixture of brown and white. But what caused him to stop was the phantom figure of the woman in front of him looking down on the flowers. It was the same woman who had appeared last time during his training.

She touched the flowers with her fingers but her fingers passed through them. But she didn't seem to mind it as she bent down and looked at the flowers with visible sadness in her gaze.

She muttered to herself, "A poisonous flower. Quite suitable for me."

A few seconds later she gave a glance towards Edward before disappearing entirely. Edward hurriedly walked towards the flowers and read the sign which read "Eleanor Schariac".

He was about to ask Ana a few questions about the flowers when she came running towards him and grabbed him by the arm and pulled him towards the exit.

"We have to hurry home! Two Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts have been discovered along with a herd of dozens of Honkai Beasts. All Valkyries nearby are being called to arms, even us!"

Edward didn't say anything and stopped Ana. She was about to scold him for delaying them but stopped herself when he pointed down towards the streets showing the packed traffic.

She didn't know what to say when he suddenly picked her up in a princess carry and declared, "I am faster."

He then opened a window and jumped out of it.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! What are doing?!!!!!" Ana shouted while desperately trying to prevent her body from splattering on the pavement.

Edward's legs bubbled up and the muscles making up his legs inflated tremendously. He landed on the ground creating a large crater on the pavement.

He bent forward and his legs morphed again to let him use all that energy that to accelerate forward.

With an audible boom he shot forward. His enhanced brain and senses captured every single detail on the path forward and calculated the best way to not hit anyone.

He jumped up some people, sometimes he slid down under through them while sometimes he used his high speeds and wall ran around them.

Ana screamed her lungs out for some time before she started laughing loudly, enjoying the ride.

Edward glanced at her and didn't say anything more.

A few minutes later they arrived at the Schariac House.

They were allowed inside and were led towards one of the conference halls. Ana pushed the doors and entered inside followed by Edward.

Inside the hall, a meeting was already taking place and so everyone ignored their presence.

At the front Chloe and Emma were using a few presentation to explain the mission and which teams should attack which group of beasts.

"There are more than a hundred Honkai Beasts led by two Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts. The Emperor-Class Beasts are Son of Dawn and Son of Darkness. Team 1 and 2 will be battling the two Emperors while Team 3 to 12 keep the other Beasts at bay. Reinforcements from Schicksal is already on the way. Chloe will now start dividing everyone into the teams."

"Team 1 will consist of me, Elena...

Team 8 will consist of Ariana, Ana, Edward, Francoise."

Edward and Ana went together to where the other members of the team were at. Only teams 1 and 2 had ten members each while all the other teams only had 4 members.

He introduced himself to the other two members of his team. Ariana was a tall and muscular woman with braided brown hair and brown eyes while Francoise was a petite woman with short black hair and black eyes.

Ariana had a outgoing personality with a booming voice while Francoise seemed a little soft but still liked to talk with people. Ariana was appointed as the leader of the team.

"I hate to do this, but we must cut the formalities short and prepare ourselves for the fight." Ariana declared as she led the three of them through the hallways into a room with hundreds of lockers arranged in rows.

Many other Valkyries were already getting dressed up in the room.

Francoise was about to say something seeing that Edward was the only big in the room where all the women are getting naked and dressing themselves. But seeing that Edward had no problem with it and most of the women considered him as a child, she led Edward to his locker.

His locker appeared to be brand new and had only a single combat dress inside of it. It was a simple long black coat with the symbol of Schicksal on the back along with a pair of shirts and a pair of black pants. His official dress still hadn't been finished.

He undressed himself revealing his petite figure. If anyone had saw him before then they would recognise how he seemed to have grown thinner from before. This was because he had started streamlining his body to be more agile and successfully fight Emma.

He dressed himself up and walked towards the deployment room and sat down on one of the seats for his team.

He saw Ana talking with her mother while Ariana was standing behind them giving a wide smile and reassuring Chloe that nothing would happen to Ana. Francoise sat beside him and discussed the tactic that they would use to easily defeat the beasts.

A few minutes later the teams started boarding their respective aircrafts. Edward stood at the door of the airplane and took a look at the sky before entering the plane.

AN: After this arc, Edward will go to another world. The next world will be End of Evangelion.
