Not What I Meant

Mika heard about the fight between the sisters from her mother. She was surprised. She didn't think the sisters had bad blood between them, however, she guessed one can never know.

"You've heard?" Ailwin saw her peeking over at Eletha.

"En. How can I not?" Mika gestured towards the servants standing against the wall whispering to one another.

"Should we stop them?"

"No, that will just drive them to talk about it more. It will die down by tomorrow, if nothing else happens." A hush came over the hall as Deulara arrived and walked towards the her father and sister.

"...Or maybe two days." Braeden commented as the servants' murmurs rose again.

"Sigh, I don't want to deal with this right now. There are better things we need to have out attention on." Mika muttered.

Ailwin looked around, "Where is General Narbeth?"

"I gave him a history book and told him to read it before he ask me anymore questions."

"Questions about what?"
