33 pain
The sleepiness in Night's body vanished instantly.
"Yuyu, what's your plan?" he asked.
Her lips were pursed and eyebrows tight in thinking. She needed to make a decision now, the lives of the people she love are more important than being with them.
She looked at Night and came to a decision.
"I will leave you a signed divorce paper. YaoFeng can take care of the later. I will take nana Luo and the twins to hide with Sandy." she said seriously her brain working like a machine.
She cannot put her husband and children at risk.
"What if the enemy is luring you out of here and wanted to take you away from us? YaoFeng and I can protect you!" Night pointed out with hesitation.
"I think it's focused is on Night. I don't know. We'll find out and we'll get in touch anyways." She said taking a deep breath. "We can solve anything within us, we just can't let an outsider come to us."
The two of them stayed together for a while as they plan.
Soon after, she went back to feed the twins.

The next day.
YaoFeng was needed in the office. He was very energetic to work for his family. The wife no longer mentions about divorce and he, he just needs to go home after work and be a good husband and father to these three sleeping treasures.
When his car left, Night immediately briefed nana Luo.
It took three days before the plan was executed. And Ming YaoFeng only had three happy days with a complete family.

Months passed slowly.
Ming YaoFeng was soon consumed by pain and anger. Not a single day was he unable to decipher why all of the people close to her has totally cut ties with him.
'This is the divorce paper my sister left for you. She is asking you to no longer contact her in any way. Alex went back to the US and as for me, I will repay you with my life when that time comes. From here, let's cut all ties.'
Those were the words that torment him every night.
The family he's trying to protect with Yuyu vanished. He did not dare looked for her. The signed divorce papers sleep on the lowest drawer in his office.
'How could you leave me and take away our children?'
'How can you be so petty. Or are you just making excuses to divorce me?'
Yuyu was YaoFeng's first love, first heart ache and first everything. Now all he felt is nothing but hatred. In the first week, he was trying to give her a reason, maybe she just needed time; maybe she had a good reason. But as months pass by, when he saw Night at the gathering not even glancing at him or recognizing him as a brother in law or a friend, he stopped believing in this dreams.
The company flourished but the CEO became colder than cold as time passed by.
One year passed, Assistant Xu came out from the CEO's office with three boxes of Yuyu's stuff. The secretaries felt gloomier. The CEO forbids to talk about the young madam and even forbids keeping photos at their desk with her in it.

It's been a year since Sandy took in her sister with two children and nana Luo. Because of her profession, she never planned to buy a house and just rented a single flat for herself. When they came, she looked for a bigger place for all of them.
She was glad that Yuyu was very quick witted to move over to her after receiving those warnings. She believed that she'll be more able to protect her sister and the children than Night. She never trusted YaoFeng. All men are the same.
Two years ago, she stayed in London because of one person. In spite of the family agreement that she would have to stay with Alex and Night with Yuyu, she braved to leave the US and follow the person she loved.
"Alex, trust me just this one okay? I will be fine." she was convincing her brother.
"I do not agree but I cannot stop you right? Just come back here if your decision turns out to be wrong." Alex reminded her.
"I promise, I'll never come back." She said making face to her brother.

They were so in love until one day, that person disowned her. She can still remember how they planned to celebrate their second year anniversary as couples. They were both in the medical field and since they were busy, they agreed to meet at the place where they first met, the FR Palace Hotel. He was deployed as an attending doctor to a special mission before that anniversary and contacts are not permitted, but they made a promise to meet, and she believed in that promise.
Both of them arrived with their best suits and gowns, however, she did not expect that she's going to attend an engagement party that day. It would really be great if she was the lady of that night, but sadly she's just one of the well dressed guests.
Sandy was already at the verge of her tears but she kept a defiant face. There must be a reason. He must have a reason and she can forgive him.
She looked for a chance to speak with him,
"William, wait." she called.
The man stopped and looked at her with confusion.
"Yes? How can I help you?" he politely asked.
She was full of disgust. Is this the way he plans to end it? Pretend that they were strangers? She sneered and gave a sarcastic laugh.
"Nah. I just want to say congratulations on your engagement!" she said with a mocking tone.
"Thank you" the man replied. His eyes devoid of compassion nor acknowledgement of her. It's as if, they never knew, or at least, he never knew her!
Tears rolled down her face as she left the hotel. She cried for the whole two nights and focused on work. She asked for more schedule and assignment, even voluntary work. Until she felt numb and forgot about him.
"Why are you spacing out?" Yuyu asked.
Sandy was pulled back to present. She smiled. "Nothing. I just realized how soon a year is. The twins are already walking!"
"You are right, but I have no time to chat, I need to go back to work, this is a tough time for us. We are having some problems at the company." Yuyu said.
"Alright, I'll be going back to the hospital, I have an overnight schedule. See you tomorrow!" She bade her sister goodbye.
Yuyu is working for Night overseas. She needed a job and the company is paying her for work. The only difference is, once she was working side by side with her husband, now she's working miles away for her brother, their company.
She smiled bitterly and set aside these thoughts. Right now, she needed to focus on the current problem.
They signed for a billion project in a very promising land out of the city, everything was perfect until the typhoon landed in this area that was never hit by a calamity before. She was very careful in handling big projects like this and she even consider history of calamities. Who would have thought that of all time, this happened when the land is already under the White's property.
Luckily, no people are working or nearby when that typhoon, who's expected to hit the next town, landed on their property. Only thing is, all company funded vehicles, supplies and construction materials were in that area, thus its a total loss on their end.
"There are some projects that are still ongoing, funds were allocated already and we cannot move." Night said over a phone call.
"I know. Let me think of a way. Nobody was expecting that calamity and nobody wanted that. Just wait for me as I work on something." Yuyu console him.
"There's still a way we can resolve this and it only needs your approval." he said tentatively.
"No. We will not disturb him. We already cut ties. We are all peaceful now and I don't want to alarm the Ming clan or who ever sent is those threats. Wait for my next call." She hung up and worked on her computer.
She cannot enter into another collaboration as they have no more budget. Yuyu bit her lips as she unconsciously scratch her chin. 'How can I make money?' she thought repeatedly.
Her thoughts were distracted by the crying outside the study. She get up to take a look.
The two children are playing inside a home made fence. Nana Luo is supervising them. Turns out, they wanted a specific TV program that just ended.
Yuyu's brows knitted. Can baby this young understood what they were watching? She looked at them for some more time and a sweet smile curved on her face. She remembered how happy she was naming them. Lune and Soleil. They were her treasures, and she cannot take it if anything happens to them. That's one of the reasons why she left, and she needs to ensure that they are safe. When they grow a little more, she will enroll them to a self defense class and teach them the use of her special emergency pills she'd been designing since... wait... that's it!
She needed the formula! She can go back to making these special substances and sell it at a sky high price! She only need one and she can help the company recover!

"Is there someone interested in chemicals? What type?" she asked straight to the point.
