19 Chapter-19 : Duelling [3]

After about two and a half hour Michael came out of his meditation and saw that his mana reserves were already back to full.

Getting up, he saw that Cedric was already up and was sitting on the sofa.

Seeing Michael coming out of his meditation, ced turned towards him and said:

"So, you're finally out, don't you have to prepare for the final match? "

"I am pretty much ready for it but your experience with that girl might help me winning easier"

"Ahh, yes. I have some tips for you, don't look towards her face and don't let her come near you, it makes you fall into her illusions easily. But I doubt it'll have any effect on you, maybe you can even catch her off-guard with help of your 'charms' " ced said with a sly smile.

Knowing the underlying meaning behind the sentence he shook his head and moved towards the door and said "Well, no more fooling around, I've got a match attend, you can come if you want"

"Like hell I'm not coming for it!! it'll probably be the most exciting match I'll ever see ! "

Michael tuned around and moved towards the waiting area, there were only five minutes remaining till the match. Michael decided that he'll end the match as swiftly as possible. In the last match he got injured because used the augmentation magic, which was not his area of expertise, yet. But in the arts of wand spells, probably no one his age can even come close to his firepower. comparing his firepower with other children was same as comparing an old flintlock to a high quality revolver.

As he was thinking about different strategies to end the match quickly, his name was called upon as he moved forward.

Seeing his opponent, her demeanor was calm and he could see confidence in her eyes. He could feel battle intent, curiosity excitement and a bit of contempt from her.

He didn't pay attention to that as he was now fully concentrated.

Then the voice of refree came in "Fight!!!"

As soon as he said that both the sides started firing a flurry of spells at each other, second by second, Michael was increasing the power and speed of his spells, as they were going on, he suddenly felt a series of tugs on his mind, which was easily neglected, this was due to her trying to capture him in illusions, what she didn't know was that his mental strength was already so strong that even if she went fully out by using her veela charm, she still won't be able to draw a single emotion on his face.

Using his physical capabilities along with his magical ones, he started a peculiar 'dance' which was both effectively dodging as well as increasing the attack frequency.

As the match went on for 3 minutes, Fleur's reserves kept getting low and low and now she was a the last straw, not seeing any other option, she fully released her veela 'aura', almost everybody present who was not an experienced wizard got hit by it and felt themselves mesmerized by her beaty. [ most of the audience are just normal wizards ]

Not being affected by it, he fired a low powered knockback jinx which effectively knocked her out before she could do anything else.

The audience suddenly woke up from their 'mesmerizing' 'trip' and started cheering for Michael.

Now that the match was over, he was swarmed by waves of reporters, all asking different questions, he took the most right decision and left the group saying that he was 'exhausted'.

The day went like that, he was being congratulated and questioned left and right.

Sorry for not updating for months as I was not getting any ideas, then suddenly this morning I got hit with a wave of inspiration.

2] Make this a fast paced novel, every year of hogwarts being done in 2-3 chaps until canon starts majorly. {Triwizard championship}, then chaps of my arcs for MC to meet girls. And major canon years in 5-7 chaps.

3] Keep going as it was going { low update rate }

4] Drop this FF and move on the road of life

I heavily prefer the 4th one but I don't want to abandon you, please do comment. You guys have a week, after that I will see the comments again and contemplate about what to do.
