Filming begins

The day had finally arrived for John and his crew to begin filming in Maryland. They flew to their destination, full of anticipation and excitement for the journey ahead. Upon arrival, they wasted no time and rented a car for the actors and two vans for the crew and equipment.

As they embarked on their drive to Burkittsville, the actors engaged in conversation, discussing the approach they would take in creating a documentary about the mythical Blair Witch. This conversation was captured by the handheld camera and by the two vans carrying the crew trailed behind, capturing their discussions through carefully placed microphones.

As the day drew to a close, they reached Burkittsville, a small town deeply entwined with the legends of the Blair Witch. They found a hotel to settle in for the night. While the crew and actors relaxed and prepared for sleep, John set a secret plan in motion.

Leaving the hotel, John made his way to the town meeting, where a small group of actors awaited his arrival. The main actors and a significant portion of the crew were unaware of this arrangement. John briefed the group of actors to act as townfolk and instructing some to dismiss the stories about the mythical Blair witch as mere old wives' tales while assigning others to recount the chilling tale of Rustin Parr. He also directed a man to share the story of Robin Weaver.

With the fake townfolk now informed, John returned to the hotel, ready for a night's rest. The following morning, he gathered the main cast to discuss the plan for interviewing the townspeople about the Blair Witch. Little did they know the intensity that awaited them.

During the interviews and subsequent interactions, the cast grew increasingly unsettled. They had not expected such an overwhelming number of stories surrounding the legendary Blair Witch. It was exactly what John had intended — to keep them on edge before venturing into the heart of the forest.

As the actors prepared to enter the forest, the crew made themselves scarce, carefully orchestrating the upcoming events. John returned to the vans, engaging in a conversation with the wildlife expert, discussing the methods they would employ to truly scare the actors in the nights to come.

Excitement and tension intertwined as the first steps of their ambitious project were taken. John knew that by immersing his cast in the eerie atmosphere and manipulating their emotions, he would capture the essence of fear and authenticity on screen. The path ahead was uncertain, but he remained steadfast in his commitment to creating a truly unforgettable cinematic experience.
