20 Chp 20 : Infamy?
"Now I declare that <Sixth Sense>has completed!!." Robert declared the end of the shoot.
Now all the crew cheering, Sharon got not many plays, she and Sigourney Weaver have already finished their plays a week ago and going back to LA earlier.
For Sigourney, she has another film appointment. She's a bit reluctant to part with Al. Her plays really made her feels that Al is her real son.
She got a really good impression of Al and even joking a bit saying that she will adopt Al.
Al, of course, rejected it, and reply with another joke that she was too beautiful and young to be his mother.
They part happily, for Tom, he was happy to have a rivalry plays with Al.
Since the shooting began, Tom doesn't treat Al as a kid anymore, but like his peers. Tom even said to Al that he was afraid his plays were suppressed by Al.
'Man are you kidding, you almost suppressing me so I got to give 100% plays every day!!' Al thought.
Tom is really a great actor, so Al was not afraid of giving himself 100% so the plays could become balanced unlike with Bruce Willis in previous <Sixth Sense>.
Al finally goes back to his home sweet home, taking a plane in first class. Luckily this plane was not piloted by Capt. Clarence and co-pilot Roger.
Once Al arrived at Los Angeles International Airport, surprise surprise. He was greeted by a lot of reporters.
No, from their behavior they're not reporters. Shit, Al cursed and knew this is fkin paparazzi.
But Al is not so sure if they are here for him or maybe another celebrity.
But now he knew they're definitely here for him, one of the paparazzi take a photo of him and rudely start to ask the questions.
"What did you think about this gossip about you?"
"Are you going to call the child protection committee?"
"Are you into an older woman?"
What? So many weird questions came into him, and shit, he doesn't even know what this gossip about. No question about <Sixth Sense> filming at all.
So directly go to his car under John's protection and John directly stepped the gas and run from paparazzi chase.
Once he reached Hope Institute, he asked Mary what's this gossip about.
She just said, "Congratulation Al, I didn't know you also interested in blonde." While throwing a tabloid gossip that Mary likes to read on Sunday.
"Hollywood Star?" Then he opened some of its pages.
"Jodie Foster is Not Gay but Pedophile" WTF!!
He reads all the content and see his picture with Jodie Foster and also when she is kissing him. Al got a little happy flashback but quickly snapped and throw the magazine to the ground.
"Bloody hell! The photos were true but the gossip that was written is fake news!" He said angrily
"Words Al! I know, it's all fake, only country bumpkins will believe in Hollywood Star magazine."
"Then why the hell did you bought it?" Al asked her again.
She shrugged and said, "Words Al, and because it's funny, it's like you read a sci-fi novel, this also can be called real-fi or reality fiction." She said while laughing.
"Okay, I will call Jodie Foster to clarify this, hope she doesn't mad."
"Oh you got another lover and now forget your big sis Mary! Why you so evil Al." She faked tears, "You even screamed Jodie's name when you sleep."
Al face now redden and quickly escape from Mary's sight. Never let Jodie and Mary meet, ever.
He made a call to Jodie Foster and she said everything is okay, she used to frame and gossip by a tabloid supermarket. It's not like everyone will believe them, it's just for entertainment only.
'You used to it but I'm not, what's wrong with you woman?' He thought.
She even said that if she had time, she will come to visit him in the orphanage.
Because filming was ended in late November, it was too late to celebrate thanksgiving with his family in the orphanage.
<E.T.> has screened over 5 months in at least 1700 theatres with 3400 screens. It has grossed over $250 million box office since release and keep going.
The overseas box office is not counted yet because of some delayed screening in some countries unlike in the future after the internet age.
Al congratulated Steven as he made another classic, with his second film that crossed $200 million.
Steven even asked him to play arcade and games in his house which he complies, he even took Toby and Jon with him.
Both of them can be called a gamer addict, Steven even gave <E.T.> game copyright and hope he can be the pioneer of the modern game.
He already adviced Steven to choose a trustable game developer and take time to make a great game.
But he was too rash and the game already in a late-stage, and will be released in December before the Christmas holiday.
Another thing is he already bought a few of the Apple stock and hoped to sell it before Lisa's project release then he started shorting it.
He bought it for $10 million for $20 per share. Before Lisa's release, it would soar to $34 per share and after release, the shares will fall into $16.
Al made sure Nancy follow his instruction. Nancy also a great stockbroker. After knowing that Berkshire Hathaway and Coca-Cola shares that Al bought soaring, she completely trusted this brat's judgment.
He also asked Nancy if a company called Microsoft required investment, so he can buy some of their shares.
So Nancy flew to Silicon Valley to meet Bill Gates and Paul Allen. They required investment but the price they offer is ridiculous.
They only want to sell 5% of the share and price of $20 million.
After some negotiation, they agree to sell 7.5% for $20 million with some clause like this amount won't be reduced in 10 years or if there are any investment, Al will join the investment so this ratio won't be reduced
Did you think it was cheap? Microsoft now is far from Apple. The software industry is not as bright as computer manufacturing.
The developer has a prejudice that the most important thing right now is the hardware. So lot of people disregarding the software business and let Bill Gates and Paul Allen become the leader of this industry.
Al was overjoyed, 7.5% shares for $20 million. He quickly mortgages his book copyright and some of his Coca-Cola shares to the Bank.
He remembered that Microsoft IPO at least had priced $780 million and he owns 7.5% of it, in 5 years, his shares would be priced for at least $140 million.
Other stock like Berkshire Hathaway and Coca-Cola, he bought it slowly every year. They both have a stable rise.
He bought the stocks at about $300 per share in 1980 and now they are priced at $765 per share at end of 1982.

Al is playing Atari 2600 in Steven's house with Toby and Jon. Steven lived with his girlfriend Amy Irving that he dated last year.
He beat Steven again, well 12-14 with Steven's cumulative win. Steven also played with Toby and Jon and the result, total annihilation for the two of them.
This damn old man even didn't give in with children.
After the 4 of them finish playing, they're having dinner in his house.
"I'm worried Steven, they only made this game 5 weeks, I'm suspicious with this game quality. There is a lot of garbage games since Atari let every game developer made the cartridge without checking their quality. Not only that, you use my face for a cover!"
"Don't worry, they are professionals. He made games for years and I trust them."
"Did you go check them these days?"
"Only on the first day, but I assure you, they have complete equipment and up to date technology." He said
Now his worry parameter started to over gauge.
"Oh after dinner, can I talk to you for a while Al, in the backyard," Steven said, Al agreed and come to the backyard after dinner.
In backyards, while Toby and Jon are having ice cream with Amy Irving.
"Okay, what do you want to talk about Steven?"
"Do you remember when we finish shooting <E.T.>, I was planning to adopt you?"
"Yes, and I reject it, I don't want for my game mate to be my father."
"Hahaha, I was even planning to adopt you in the day of the audition when I know you are an orphan. But looks like I was too rushed. So I just want to ask you now, Can I have the honor to be your Godfather?"
Another surprise, "Wow thank you, Steven, I am honored. You are only the closest male elder I know and you are like a father to me. I gladly accept you as my Godfather, but don't regret it in the future that your Godson will steal your Oscar Best Director."
Steven laughed, "Hahaha don't worry kid business is business and family is family. Welcome to the family, brat."
"Thanks, stinky old man, how many Godchild you got anyway, I believe it hundred." Al laughed after saying that.
"Only three, you, Drew, and Gwyneth but there are hundreds of people who want me to become the Godfather of their children haha," Spielberg said.
"What, now you collecting Godsons like stamps? And Gwyneth? Is she from the Paltrow family?"
"Yep, that Paltrow."
He just shrugged and both of them go back to the dining room to join Toby and Jon eating ice cream.
