Hollywood Creed: 2nd Draft

Before [Alexander Creed: Re-life] there was also this story. I give you... Alexander Creed that started in the late 80s... An inspiration and version before Alexander Creed of [Alexander Creed: Re-Life] became what he is! This one is also going to be crazy, whacky, offensive, and just plain trashy. There's also creepy and horny development because I had that phase. I blame horny Chinese-Hollywood MCs for this. Welcome to Hollywood Creed: 2nd Draft! ------ This is a work of trashy fiction like my other trashy fictions... so don't bash my trashy work too much. Also, this is just a fictionalization of things for entertainment and just sharing for free. Hope I don't get much trouble for it and hope I don't get sued or whatever.

Resurgence

Alexander had to single-handedly develop the necessary softwares to be housed on all the fancy hardware that Sullivan has purchased.

He was confident at first but when he is truly pushed into the task, the impossibility of it dawned on him.

"Have I gotten too confident with all the recent successes?" He muttered to himself. Despite all of his annoyance towards his pesky classmates and neighbors, the rush of vanity had already tainted his indifference.

This ego boost from filmmaking somehow crawled its way unto software programming that it made him not take into account the development time, manpower, and money needed.

Autodesk, Maya, Marionette, Renderman, CAPS, Flipaclip, Procreate, Adobe animate, and all the other stuff weren't going to magically merge and synergize themselves just because he knew they can.

Not to mention the clip editing software, color gradient, brush tools, eraser options, track additions, and all of that stuff need a lot of separate research to make happen.

He had come in contact with all of them in the past and knew the finished product and its basic codings. What he didn't know was the process that links all of them together.

The core of the programs is too encrypted and too expensive for anyone to memorize.

With Alexander's hacking skills, he could get into it from an official product and simply copy and paste it.

The problem with being in 1989 is that they still don't exist yet. He needed to pioneer every bit of development it has to head into.

It was a good thing that the second and now third-floor renovations to Sullivan's gift building are still underway or he would really embarrass his grandfather.

Coming up with advanced software as a 12-year-old would wow his spoiling grandfather and the old man wouldn't question much about how he achieved it. Old scheming Sullivan was just too naive when it comes to taking care of his only relative left in the world.

If no advanced software was developed, however, the inexplicableness would not be a problem but his boast of a Creed powerhouse company would be a shame to him.

In any case, his coding and recoding practice for the past few months hadn't helped at all.

Alexander was left head-scratching for days and a solution hadn't come up at all.

He could buy the timeline-accurate CAPS software from Pixar and Jobs but that would put them at odds with Disney's Eisner which is already considering the prospects of computer animating.

Also, CAPS was just a computer-mixed version of what Disney is doing with their celluloid paintings. Computer Animation Production System may sound cool and futuristic but it is still substandard from the true animation software of the future.

It didn't fit with Alexander's vision of bringing 2020 animating to the late 80s. Drawing into touchscreens might be impossible but at least drawing into computer display via graphics tablet is still a possibility.

Alexander was stuck in an even higher level of stress than what filming and theatrical releases had thrown into him.

Even the news of Run Lola Run gaining 20 million at the domestic box office didn't ease his worries.

The global release has already commenced and the good news from the overseas Creed Distribution branches didn't appease him as well.

-------

Alexander was stuck in place and had no progress toward his goals. He had even requested his grandfather for permission to stay in the Burbank-based HQ to work with the real hardware.

It was a normal day in February and he was busy typing away on the new computers.

It was a good thing that one corner had already been fixed off and out of the renovators' designation or else, they would have seen the popular child star obsess about keyboards.

Alexander was back to being absentminded and lost in programs again, and he didn't notice the date and his current circumstance.

February 27, 1989 was the exact date of the day. Alexander didn't save the date but this was the exact anniversary of the phenomenal binaries encroaching into his mind.

In the exact absentminded boy, the same haphazard typing situation in front of the computer, and a year after that date, the time-warping binaries resurged.

------

From this resurgence, the green 0s and 1s didn't connect the boy to the renewed and future version of himself.

Instead, they became an implant in his brain that guided him to exactly what he needed.

Like an assistive but mute Jarvis AI to Tony Stark, it sequenced the perfect copy of the program that Alexander needed.

From the start command to the render command, Alexander's vision was warped to function like a T1000 computer gaze.

The miraculous binaries are assisting in reaching a finished product which is the perfect realization of Alexander's vision for a perfect animation software.

Flipaclip is an animation program made available to the masses and quite easy to use for anyone interested in 2D animation.

It is quite ubiquitous in the 2020s but it is a technological marvel in the 80s and even the early 90s.

The animation software that Alexander is subconsciously making in finger-typing speed is an advanced software version of Flipaclip or any other animation software like Procreate and Adobe animate.

In fact, it might even have all the versatile applications that make every other 2020s animation software quite unique from one another.

The best part of it is that it is super advanced software that can adjust itself to the specs of the recent era's hardware.

64-bit RAMs and all the low-end CPUs that would house this growing monstrosity won't be a hassle at all.

To put things in perspective, this software's speed and process won't be affected by its software. In theory, a 3D Sonic game coding can be played on a 3D console but it can also be played on Gameboy and even the original Atari.

Atari and Gameboy might be an exaggeration but it is still possible.

Alexander is blindly following the coding sequence all throughout but he can still read code and the output it can display.

He was too shocked by this developing application that he was already afraid of its potential implications.

What if it is stolen? What if the compressing and adaptive code would be replicated?

Anyone who gets hold of this animation software and reverse engineers might just be at the peak of coding technology.

This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.

You've been warned!
