1 Chapter 1

I looked out the window sighing "Mom do we really have to move?" I looked at my mom and she had a somewhat sad expression "Sweetie you know we can't stay here no more. Trust me this move is for the better." I nod and look back out the window before falling asleep. After a while of driving, we got there. I helped take in the boxes and started to unpack. But I felt like I was being watched, I sighed and brushed it off as I kept unpacking. When I got to my room It felt freezing cold, But that didn't bother me I like the cold more than heat anyways. I sat down the boxes and waited for the truck with our furniture to come. Once it did I helped unload it and put everything into place. I helped put my things in my room, Once I did I started putting everything in place. I started putting my clothes in my closet when I notice a small door. I decided to check it out later after I was done unpacking. Once I was finished unpacking I went to check out the crawl space but mom called for me. I went downstairs "Yes mom?" She smiled "Would you like to help me unpack all of this so we can go walking around town?" I nodded and helped unpack. When we finished we went for a walk, Mom showed me around the town that she grew up in, It was an interesting place.
