28 Attempted Murder?

"Is she all right!!!?Is she hurt??!" the King yelled as he ran through the thick foliage on foot to where Freya was laying unconscious.

Two soldiers crouched beside her, afraid to touch the woman.

Her leg was badly twisted, unsightly to look at and she must have hit her head bad because she wasn't responding to anyone.

"HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?" he growled at the two soldiers and fell to his knees beside her.

"Your majesty, we tried to keep up with her but she rode wildly! It was like the horse was possessed!"

Sebastian looked around and saw not too far off the horse had calmed and was pacing around.

"Freya? Answer me..." he said shaking her lightly.

Her head flopped to the side and his heart dropped when he saw a line of red blood drip down her fair forehead.

"MAKE WAY!!! MAKE WAY!!! the servants shrieked when the King returned carrying the injured Queen in his arms.

Thankfully she was still breathing, but it was slow and Sebastian couldn't risk it.
