58 CH55: Potions Class

After bidding farewell to Felix, Harry's eyes still flashed with the words he just said, and then his expression gradually became firm.

After arriving at the lobby on the first floor and having some breakfast, he went to the Potions classroom located underground.

There was still almost half an hour until class started, so before that, he decided to read for a while.

He had gradually adapted to life at Hogwarts, and apart from flying lessons that wouldn't be available until next week, he didn't think there was anything else to do to fill his time at the moment.

That wasn't as fulfilling as reading a book.

In other words, he was used to this kind of life.

He had learned to gain a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from learning.

He hoped to quickly lay a solid foundation and then build his own rune system so that he could quickly learn from Uncle Felix.

Moreover, he wasn't just reading a book. If you looked carefully, although his hand seemed to be holding a book, there was actually a large gap between the book and his palm, and a bright blue light flowed in the gap.

Even when turning the pages of a book, he tried his best not to make physical contact.

After about ten minutes, the first person to come to the classroom finally arrived. He stopped practicing the Mage Hands, put away the books, and took out the Potions class books and loose notebooks. Come.

Yes, the notebook must have loose pages so that it feels like a master's manuscript!

It wasn't until the beginning of class that Hermione hurriedly arrived, sat next to Harry, quickly opened the book, and complained breathlessly: "Oh my god, the section of stairs I usually walk on suddenly changed its position today, which made me lose my temper. All the reserved preview time is gone."

"Luckily my lounge is right next door." Harry laughed.

As they were talking, heavy and rapid footsteps sounded in the corridor behind them.

Looking back, Professor Snape, dressed in black, walked quickly into the classroom with a flowing cloak as if he were walking with the wind.

He had the same stern aura as Professor McGonagall and seemed to be more irritable. When he took his first step into the classroom, all the little wizards did not dare to say anything.

He walked to the podium, and as soon as he picked up the roll call sheet, he lowered his voice and set his eyes on Harry.

"Yes, Harry Potter," he said slowly. "The famous savior has come to Hogwarts!"

Draco and many Slytherins laughed unabashedly.

Snape looked away from Harry and then looked around at everyone. "Potion, my requirements are not high. I don't expect you to experience the beauty revealed in the slow-simmering crucible. As long as you are not the kind of person who is only knows as just an idiot waving his magic wand!!"

Hermione moved her stool forward, obviously impatient.

"Potter! What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood ?"

Harry didn't expect Snape's sudden turn to him. However, he reacted quickly and spat out: "Draught of Living Death which is a very powerful sleeping potion"

Snape raised his eyebrows slightly, a little surprised, but his tone was even more unkind: "There is no need to explain too much to show off the knowledge you should already know."

Was I supposed to learn this? !

Why do you feel that this dean...doesn't have much kindness towards me? !

"If I wanted you to find me a piece of bezoar, where would you look for it?" he asked again.

"In the stomach of a goat or drugstore." Harry almost blurted out again.

Then he noticed that Snape was staring closely into his eyes, his pupils flickering, as if he was thinking about something.

"Tell me What is the difference between monkshood and wolfsbane? "

"The names are different, but They're the same plant, also known as aconite."

Harry almost every answer followed Snape's question.

"Very good..." Snape said. "Fifteen points for Slytherin! Potter, I will ask you again. If you are lucky this time, remember to pray before the next class."

"I won't pray, I just believe in my ability and my knowledge" Harry said.

Snape slammed the table. "I didn't let you speak, one point will be deducted from Slytherin!!"

"What the... uh cough cough cough cough..."

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound. It was a boy with red hair and freckles. Harry had no impression of him, so he must be from Gryffindor.

"Ah! Another Weasley, is there something wrong with your health?" Snape said sinisterly.

"No professor, I just choked accidentally." The boy quickly waved his hand and shook his head.

Snape obviously didn't find the opportunity to deduct points, so he had to look away.

Seeing this, the coughing boy turned his head and whispered: "Fifteen extra points, one point deducted?! Are you kidding me?"

"Five points from Gryffindor! Weasley, I'm talking, what are you whispering about?"

Harry saw the boy's face turn red and didn't dare to speak.

Later, after Snape taught the theory for half of the class, he began to divide them into groups of two for the practical part of potions.

He almost completely separated Gryffindor and Slytherin, but when he came to Harry and Hermione...

Harry couldn't tell what Snape was thinking. Although he had been learning to observe faces for a long time with some success, it was obvious that he still had no success facing Snape.

His eyes were dark and hollow, and Harry could only see a little bit of the surface. In short, it was - complicated!

Very complicated emotions!

He then passed directly over the two of them and grouped the remaining people.

After being divided into groups, Snape began to walk around the classroom, instructing them on brewing the potion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the pairing of Harry and Hermione. However, Snape still caused him a lot of trouble.

However, no points were deducted.

Instead, Gryffindor lost a lot of points. Seamus didn't know what operation he had done, and the whole crucible exploded with fireworks.

Then his teammate, a somewhat chubby Gryffindor boy, was startled and knocked over Weasley's and a girl's cauldron.

Then, the liquid dripped out and fell on the medicinal materials they had prepared, causing a violent reaction. The potion splashed like boiling oil soaked in water.

The whole classroom suddenly became a mess!

"Idiot!!" Snape roared, flicking his sleeves and whipping out his wand.

However, someone was faster than him! !

"Tergeo--"

Immediately, the sputtering potion was swept away and disappeared.

Snape looked at the source of the spell in surprise, and then surprise flashed deep in his eyes.

It was Harry!

Noticing the stares around him, Harry withdrew his wand, feeling a little proud.

Oh, this is the spell where I'm the most proficient in.

"Good," Snape commented silently.

However, although he felt a little unhappy, he did not intend to miss the extra point opportunity: "Very good, five points for Slytherin."

"Send him to the infirmary!" Then he turned to Weasley and Seamus, whose faces were darkened by fireworks.

Almost an hour after the chaos, the morning potions class came to an end. Harry felt strange during this class. For some reason, Snape harbored unabashed malice towards him.

But fortunately, he answered all of Snape's questions.

And added a lot of points to his House.
