2 Chapter Two: Acceptance Letter

"So, you're worried about not having enough money and not knowing the way to the wizarding world?"

The words 'Please take me as your apprentice' were on the tip of my tongue several times, and I finally couldn't resist blurting them out. But instead, it came out as me not having money...

Dumbledore pondered for a moment. Indeed, for a child from an orphanage, not having money was quite normal, and it wasn't hard to understand their reluctance to speak about it if they had enough self-esteem.

"Money isn't the issue. Every impoverished young wizard receives financial aid from Hogwarts. However, this money can only assist you in purchasing a wand and some second-hand books."

Dumbledore clasped his hands in his pockets, deep in thought.

"But taking you to Diagon Alley to purchase necessary items..."

"Excuse me, Professor. If it's somewhere in Dunlun City, I can manage on my own!"

Dumbledore was taken aback by this, then understood. Surely, Sefar had sneaked into Dunlun City to play more than once before.

But the wizarding world was not the same as the Muggle world. Only Diagon Alley connected the wizarding realm, and it was relatively stable. If Sefar accidentally ended up in Knockturn Alley...

Dumbledore furrowed his brow. With the war looming, Hogwarts professors had to help on the front lines. Moreover, the recent Wizarding War started by Grindelwald had only just ended, and many ancient family members were left homeless and wandering.

It wasn't practical for professors to personally take each young wizard to Diagon Alley. Sefar seemed mature enough. Finding a responsible young Gryffindor to assist him should suffice.

"Sefar, I can't fully agree to your request. How about this? The day after you receive your school acceptance letter, which should also be the day you go shopping, I'll arrange for an older student to help you. How does that sound?"

Sefar hesitated for a moment but ultimately didn't refuse Dumbledore's arrangement.

Actually, Sefar was hoping for a senior student, preferably a pretty one, to guide him into the magical world.

"I'm sorry, Sefar. There's too much to do before school starts. I'll only be able to visit each new student these few days."

Dumbledore misunderstood again, thinking Sefar wanted him to take him into the wizarding world.

I'm still as popular as ever!

Carrying two fish back home, I quickly prepared a delicious fish soup.

As the savory broth filled my mouth,

Sefar was sure he wasn't dreaming.

I had doubted whether I had traveled to the Marvel world, as the effects of the spells I cast seemed unaffected by my presence there. But when Dumbledore, who claimed to be the Hogwarts professor, found me, I was sure I was in the magical world of Harry Potter. But there were some differences. Sefar suspected that at least one of his parents had rabbit blood because he left too many traces of rabbits.

From that day on, every morning, I would eagerly await the arrival of an owl carrying my long-awaited acceptance letter as I opened the window and looked up at the sky.

As the date for the start of the semester, September 1st, drew nearer, my excitement grew.

One day, as I opened the window as usual, I was pleasantly surprised to see a chubby white chicken standing outside.

The chicken sensed my excitement as I pushed open the window and tried to enter the room.

However...

"Slap!"

...

"Sorry, sorry... I'll treat you to some small fish strips, and here's some cold boiled water. Enjoy..."

I apologized profusely to the haughty chicken with ruffled feathers.

Every morning, I would eagerly open the window, but without any success.

I developed a habit of opening the window to check and then subconsciously closing it.

Now, the chicken was slapped in the face by the window.

After much persuasion and negotiation, perhaps due to the chicken's forgiving nature or Sefar's tempting offer of food, the disheveled chicken finally buried its head in the small fish snacks.

Sefar carefully groomed the chicken's ruffled feathers and retrieved the letter hanging from its foot.

Having eaten its fill and sensing that Sefar had no intention of sending a reply with it, the chicken flapped its wings and departed.

With a deep breath, Sefar calmed his excited heart, but his hands still trembled as he picked up the letter.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(Vice-Chairman of the International Confederation of Wizards, Order of Merlin - First Class, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot)

Dear Mr. Colwin,

We are delighted and honored to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Enclosed with this letter is a list of required books and equipment.

The term is set to commence on September 1st.

We await your owl post for any inquiries before July 31st.

Deputy Headmaster,

Brantham Fergus

Dumbledore isn't the headmaster?

Oh, right, it's 1938...

Wait a minute...

At this time, the original Grindelwald seems to be trying to unify the wizarding world.

The second Dark Lord... Could he be in my year?

In this era... I seem to be living unscathed, even if my life were a great success...

As Sefar finished reading the letter, a series of absurd thoughts flashed through his mind.

When Sefar finally snapped out of it, he had no idea how long he had been sitting by the bed.

A call brought him back to reality.

It was Anne, the youngest and most attached to him among the orphans at the orphanage, smiling and inviting him downstairs for breakfast.

Sefar responded with a smile, getting up and casually placing the letter in the drawer as he passed by the table.

Walking down the corridor with Anne, Sefar's gaze gradually became determined.

Living in such a turbulent era, I refuse to resign myself to relying solely on Dumbledore's strength to survive. I won't accept it!
