1 On the moon

Jax suddenly woke up in a fluffy red body. At the face was the exposure of a hard shell and mandibles that was short and thick that clicked slightly when he moved.

He picked himself up off the ground. He was tall and he was on all six legs, but he could stand up on two which he then found out that the front legs were actually hands.

He tried to walk on two legs, though it was possible it didn't feel good as he was doing it. Jax found himself clicking his mandibles at each thought that came to his head it was it was like his body's natural response to his thinking.

After a while jax was able to coordinate his movement on all six legs and was able to hide his other two arms inside of his furry fluffy body, He shook himself a bit.

Jax was a red furry insect his thorax was slender like his body but the fur made it slightly puffed out. And he had wings on his back that looked like a cape behind him. His eyes were red and glistened in the sunlight and his feet were three-toed and his hands had four fingers on each hand.

Where appendages stopped like his hands, feet, and stinger there was no fur it was just the hard exoskeleton. Jax's face also was not fuzzy or furry until it got to the start of the top of his head and the very bottom of his chin. His head had a very small peak at the top like a crest.

Jax moved his hands down feeling his body up and down. Once he was finished jax notices something that almost sent him into a panic attack.

'I'm not breathing!?' he thought in his head as dropped to the grey rocky ground and started rolling before he stopped and realized he wasn't dying.

'Oh I'm fine. But uh where am I?' he moved his hand into the grey dirt that turned out to be some sort of molten rock or ash. He let it fall out his hand and it descended slowly to the ground.

'Where am I at a scorched island? A volcano?' jax had multiple thoughts coursing through his head but none of them felt right. he didn't even think to question what he was or how he ended up here. For all, he could know he is probably sitting at the hospital right now in a coma.

Jax slowly looked up and the sun glistened in his eyes before adjusting to a view that would shock anyone who had the chance to experience it. A view that many wouldn't get to see in hundreds of lifetimes.

Jax saw the Earth, well it looked like Earth but some things were different such as the arrangement of the continents and most noticeably the sheer size of the planet was without a doubt double the size of Earth.

'Holy shit. Don't tell me.' Jax looked down to the grey lifeless ground before kicking some of the grey dust up and watching it float for a while before it descended back down.

"I'm on the damn moon!!?" jax yelled out but no sound came out of his mouth. It wasn't that he couldn't make noise it was simply that it kinda disappeared on exiting his mouth.

'Oh shit.' he thought as he reached for his mouth and scratched at his face for a second before looking back at the sun, he then switched his vision to the planet again.

Something started to dawn on Jax that took all his excitement away all at once within the singular thought.

'This is all fun and stuff but... How do I get down there?' he thought before sitting down on the ground slumping before he started to dig into the dirt. He noticed how easy it was to push the dirt out of the way and it piqued his interest.

Within a few seconds, his whole body was no longer visible from the speed at which he was digging and the fur on his body was able to pack the dirt onto the wall perfectly as he moved through his newly made tunnels.

After he was finished it looked like a modern mine that had just been made by the best diggers known to man.

'Um excuse me? Is that it? No description? Nothing else? I mean I like all the skills but. No guide? Anything?' Jax looked disappointed as he sat in his little tunnel. He didn't know what to do or how he should go about his new life.

Slowly crawling out of the hole he stood up on his hind legs and stretches his wings out. He sat there and thought to himself.

'Flying in space can't be possible, There's no air." he flapped his wings one time and shot off like a missile away from the moon. Jax instantly got scared and turned around.

As he turned he started spiraling out of control, he turned and slammed into a crater in the moon. He stood there on all six legs shaking before digging a hole and sitting there shivering.

'I don't wanna go into the real world no more!' he said as he covered his face while shaking. Before a noise caught his attention. It scared him a little bit afterward because how was there even noise within outer space?

He poked his head out of the hole to see what looked to be a giant gash or cut 30 feet away from him sitting there in the air/void

It wiggled and writhed back and forth before three people stepped out of it, they all had a blue aura surrounding them and wearing gear and clothing that had a skull symbol on it with "hunter course" writing on the shoulders of their clothes but their heads were exposed. And it confused jax because he didn't understand how they were breathing.

After a minute of getting their gear together, they scanned the area before seeing a small red figure 30 feet away from them that disappeared a few seconds after being spotted. One of the men pointed at it right as it disapered while clutching his gun he had a scared expression on his face but he started smiling and laughing with the others not to long after.

"You think we just found alien life?!" the man in the middle asked before ushering them to move forward with him.

"Don't know maybe. If it is the since you found it, what are you gonna name it?" a shorter man behind him with a rifle in his hands said as he walked closely behind along with the third man who had a lot of muscle on him and a scar on his right eye.

"I don't know what about the SCAVENGER! Hahaha, that's a badass name huh!" the man said as he nudged the shorter guy. They ran towards the position where the creature was to see a giant tunnel.

They all walked into the tunnel while trying to stay quiet. The man in the front took out a scanner that could detect vibrations and movement within the area.

As they walked past rocks and scratches on the wall one of the guys noticed a very odd-shaped rock that had been stuck halfway to the wall on the side of them.

"Garry Hurry the hell up!" the man leading screamed as the signal started going off in front of them. They all began to sprint down the tunnel at max speed.

Behind them, that same rock that they had passed up, opened its eyes.
