228 Tonight

Emily comforted herself with the fact that they were fated to be enemies. Then, after taking a deep breath, she returned to her room. She first went to take a shower and changed into her nightgown. 

Since she was inside the room, she did not need to wear the outer robe. After sitting on her bed for a while, she decided to look toward the balcony in her room. She had not gone outside the balcony. She was feeling down that night. 

"Just today," Emily told herself. She did not want to always feel complex emotions anytime she saw him. 

After thinking about it, she got a bottle of wine from the fridge. She had secretly hidden it because Jude was always trying to stop her from drinking. 

After taking the wine and cup, she wore her robe and stepped out. 

"This is to us," she pointed her filled cup of wine towards Eric's house. She felt that, for a moment, she should forget about their enmity and be the girl next door.
