202 His Confession

The door closed, leaving Isla and Damien in the room. Despite the chilly sensation on his skin, Damien was bouncing excitedly on the bed. He finally made his first friend in the capital. He couldn't wait for tomorrow to come. 

''Mother…'' Damien wanted to brag about this to his mother, but his excited expression faltered at the sight of his mother staring down at himself with a serious face and folded arms. Just that posture alone told Damien instantly that he was in big trouble for her not to be smiling at him.

''Damien Liev Elrod.'' She called his full name. Before it would have been Damien Liev Patel. Now it was Damien Liev Elrod. 

''Yes mother.'' Damien responded obediently. Though, his voice was softer than usual.

''Why did I hear about you fighting another young master?''
