Period day

As soon as Reagan was inside his cabin. He took his phone from the pocket and frowned seeing all the missed calls from victor and pressed on call back button.

"Reagan, why didn't you pick the call?" there came victor's frustrated voice.

"Why didn't you inform me yesterday about visiting the office today also? didn't you tell , you wanted a week before officially coming to office?" his assistant Lui didn't waste time and started questioning his boss.

"Relax. Take a breath." Reagan said as he took his seat.

"I was just bored at home, so thought of coming here."

"who get's bored early in the morning?"

"I do. Stop questioning me and bring the files from home." Reagan ended the call.

On the other side of the phone Lui victor was having hard time trying not to curse. what's so boring early in morning for his sleepaholic boss?

Lui Victor has been working as Reagan's Personal assistant from past three year. Reagan treated him as a friend more than an employee and importantly he was not a workaholic like other employers he has seen. He liked working with his boss apart from dealing with Reagan's now and then mood swings.

Whenever Reagan was in his Period days as what victor liked to call or a recharge phase as what Reagan likes to call it. He would be unpredictable each time.

The first time victor had to face Reagan's so called Recharge phase, he was at the verge of crying his eyes out. Reagan was untraceable for an entire week. he didn't come to work, to his condo. or anywhere he could find.

However, the man had the courtesy to leave a message which read as 'worry not, I'm fine' on the first day evening. Seriously, if he didn't receive that message that evening, he would have filed a missing person complaint. when he tried to call, the phone was not reachable. Poor man had to work three continuous nights to fill in for his boss. if it were not for Ryan's timely appearance, he thought he would have died of stress and lack of sleep.

And don't ask him how he found his boss peacefully sleeping in his condo on the weekend. he was so furious that his eyes stung with unshed tears as he tried to control the urge to smack Reagan, fortunately for him, Ryan did that job. Helping Victor in relieving his anger.

Another time of his stupid phase, he made sure to torture everyone around him continuously for two to three days. He didn't even go to home, making others also to over work with him. The meetings on those days felt like he was attending a cold war.

Because of how unpredictable Reagan could be on those times. He hated to deal with it. even though it was not frequent. still he wholeheartedly hated to deal with Reagan on those days.

Yesterday he informed butler lee that this week Reagan had nothing scheduled and to not disturb him if he wanted to sleep in. So when butler Lee called and said his boss left home, he feared if he started the period phase today.

Since today Reagan's schedule was free, he thought he could sleep in the whole morning only to be woken up by Butler Lee's call. He hurriedly got ready as he tried to reach Reagan.

But Reagan didn't sound moody in the call though. he thought as he picked up his car keys.

At the office, Reagan was deeply thinking about how to make Alysa talk to him. At the same time, a knock came on door.

Manager Kim entered after asking Reagan, the man looked as though he came straight from a marathon.

"Vice-president, I didn't know you would be coming today!"

"Manager Kim, did you come to office on foot?" Reagan asked instead of answering.

"No, I have my own vehicle."manager Kim answered with puzzled look.

"Then, why are you sweating so much?"

"I just wanted to get used to the office. You don't have to be concerned." Reagan continued as he gave a glass of water to Manager Kim.

Manager Kim drank the water and left the cabin after thanking.

Manager Kim was touched by the act. The new VP sure looked like a kind man who wouldn't abuse his power like a previous one did, However he worried that some employees including himself would be fired because of previous Vice-president's reckless acts. It's not new to fire subordinates because of their seniors fault and he had heard rumours about how Cadel have been fired employees overseas. He had a family to feed after all.

Meanwhile Alysa was having hard time concentrating on the work. She knew, she has to get used to him being around. at least she was glad she had a week to come to terms with those facts.

But the relief she had while coming to office was nowhere now. She regretted agreeing to the transfer. At this moment, she preferred her old office even without any raise or promotion.
