the chase

mom was right behind us smiling staring at the car. all of the sudden Alex hung up the phone and sped up. he got onto the freeway and his speed was steadily increasing. 60,70,80,90,100 soon we were going 120 miles per hour on the freeway. he was dodging through traffic trying to shake them but he couldn't. about a mile down the road Alex saw my tears forming and he blasted music and promised me we lost them, he lied. I was calming down and listening to the music as he continued to speed. soon the cops were chasing both of the cars down the freeway. Alex couldn't loose mom because the freeway was pulling over to a open road. still Alex refused to stop and let her win, he ignored the sirens and the police trying to pull both cars over. the chase was on every radio station and helicopters were even evolved. my brother pulled off the freeway and sped through every light, no matter what he couldn't shake them. all of the sudden we pulled out onto the road and a car slammed into the side of my brother's car, flinging him out of the car. the car spun out and slammed into a pole knocking me unconscious. all I remember was a glimpse of my brother who was in bad shape and the ambulance I rode in to the hospital. after that it was a blur
