Angel Is My Angel

Early morning's first sun rays spilled their warmth on the face of the one who was sleeping outside someone else's door.

The sun rays were like a wake-up call for him as if to say 'Get up moron and go to your room.' But he was in the mood of lazying around.

Well then bear the consequences...

He heard the sound of approaching footsteps from inside the house which was getting closer and closer to the door.

Shit!

How will he be able to explain about what is he doing here....On her doorstep!?

Run!

But it was too late, the door opened with a click sound.

He held his breath and closed his eyes, preparing himself for the upcoming situation.

....

Little Omisha's favourite thing in the morning was watering the plants and that's what she was going to do right now.

She opened the door,

"Prince!!?" Omisha exclaimed as she didn't know whether the scenario was surprising or confusing...

Li Xuan opened his eyes as he heard the voice of an adorable kid and he finally relaxed.

'It's Chocolate, not her Angel.' He was relieved as he thought the little kid won't ask him so many questions about he being on her doorstep.

Oh, how wrong he was!

"Prince, What are you-" The little girl stopped in the mid of her sentence as she saw the Prince putting his index finger over his lips, It was a signal to not to speak....right?

Omisha looked here and there, there was nothing suspicious to hush down.

The little girl inched closer to him and whispered in a hushed tone next to his ear "Why did you ask me to keep quiet?"

"Eh.. that.. that's because the plants and birds might get disturbed in their sleep!" Great! now he was using such a dumb excuse in front of a sweet little kid!

'Li Xuan, You are really hopeless.' He shook his head in disapproval and pulled the little girl away from her door.

"Birds are still sleeping?" Omisha asked him in a confused tone "And... plants sleep?"

"Of course they do!" Li Xuan said in the voice of a school teacher.

"But my Angel never told me about this...!" She daily watered the plants in the early morning, if the plants were to be asleep, her Angel would have stopped her, no?

Li Xuan nervously chuckled,

Yeah, he learnt his lesson. Never make excuses in front of a kid.

"Maybe she just forgot to tell you..?" Li Xuan tried his luck for the last time

But little did he knew, His words were something that is gonna show the another side of this sweet little kid.

Omisha's eyes darkened "No!" The little girl spoke in a voice which was impossible for a kid in such age "My Angel never forgets anything!"

Li Xuan was taken aback by the little kid's sudden outburst.

He raised his hands up in the air, in a surrendering position and said in a soothing tone "Okay, okay your Angel never forgets anything. Relax, yeah?"

But Omisha wasn't listening to him. The adorable kid who looked like a little tigress a moment ago, was now taken over by guilt.

Little Omisha inched closer to him and held his palm "Sorry, Prince." The kid said with so much sincerity "I should not have raised my voice on you, Angel says it's a bad manner."

Li Xuan looked at the little innocent girl, and as much as he looked, he found her to be a carbon copy of her Angel.

"I'm sorry too, Chocolate." Li Xuan said in an equally sincere voice "I should not have gave you vague answers."

And the little girl surprised him once again with her intellectual and understanding talk "No it's okay, You might have your reasons for vague answers."

Yes, The Chocolate is an exact copy of Her...

And unconsciously, he asked her the question which has been bugging him for like eternity.

"Who are you to her, Chocolate?"

"Eh?" Omisha didn't understand his question

But the answer was very simple - Life, the little girl mean life to Lucy.

Li Xuan asked the question differently this time "What is your Angel to you?"

"Angel is..." Omisha thought for a moment then said "Angel is my Angel to me."

Li Xuan laughed and ruffled the little girl's hair "Yes, Your Angel is definitely an Angel."

Omisha happily nodded on the Prince's remark and said "Prince, I'm going to water the plants."

And Li Xuan, for some reason, followed the sweetly intellectual kid to the garden.

"How was my Angel back then, Prince?" Omisha asked him in the middle of the watering

Li Xuan, who was closely inspecting a flower, stopped in his process.

"Are you sure I know the answer, Chocolate?" He cautiously asked her

Omisha nodded her head "My Angel said you and Angel used to be a close companion of each other."

Close companion.....

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath "Don't you think it will be more exciting if your Angel will herself answer this question?"

Omisha thought for a second then nodded in agreement.

"Baby, that's enough watering for today."

Both Li Xuan and Omisha turned their heads in the direction of the source of voice,

And there she stood, the one who beats in the heart of both Li Xuan and Omisha - Lucy Carl

For a split second, Lucy looked at him the same way she used to look at him in past.

But it vanished as soon as it came.

He opened his mouth to speak That word,

The word which was crafted in his heart but he dared not to speak it out in the last 5 years 7 months and 19 days.

"...Senori-" He left his words uncompleted as he saw her raised eyebrow and that daring look which was saying him to stop right there

Guess what, he has lost the right to call her by that name.

He gulped his saliva and nodded in understanding.

"L-lucy.." He pronounced her name. Even her name was comforting and pleasing to speak

Lucy closed her eyes as soon as her name escaped out of his lips...

What she felt at the moment was both painful and pleasing at the same time.

"Omisha," Lucy beckoned the little girl "baby go and wash up, I'll be there soon."

And of course, Omisha understood, Prince and her Angel were going to do some serious talk where kids aren't allowed.

Omisha nodded her head obediently then turned to the Prince,

"Bye, Prince!" She said as she waved her tiny hand

The Prince returned her gesture by waving back "Bye, Chocolate."

And the little girl left, leaving the seniors behind.
