The Worst is Yet to Come

****William's Point of View*****

"William" I hear Benjamin's voice as I nod my head to my name. Continuing to watch her, the battle she struck with her father as he continued to try and fight her. Her knees deep in the mud as she continued fighting her dress soaked in the mud as she continued to fight. Her father pushing her.

"I WILL NOT GIVE UP!" She shouts through the crowd as the soldiers stopped their training to watch hers. She simply contained the attention of the whole field without even knowing.

"THEN DO BETTER!" Orion combats as he continues, as she kicks him off of his feet. Taking the wooden pole and slamming her father on his back. Snapping the poor in half as she threw one half to the wind, the other half with its splinters formed a sharp edge as she hovered it above her fathers chest in her hand. As Orion just looked into her eyes, hypnotized. "She's ready" those words emerge from his lips as she drops the split piece of wood as she stands back up to her feet.

"The kingdom has gotten words that Azalea has been sent" Benjamin finally finishes his thought as I look to Gehenna. Panic in my eyes.

"We must ready ourselves" she says as she smiles. "We are ready" she reassured me as the soldiers cower.

"We have not prepared for war in such short notice!" I tell her as she smiles.

"You really think I would invite a war without preparations? She is of no threat, when she walks into this castle the last thought of hers will be of war. But she will be notified of the upcoming war." Gehenna tell me, her eyes heated as she takes a deep breath, "Excuse me" she smiles, "I must prepare myself" she announces her absence as her ladies follow her and I sigh.

"What will we do, your majesty?" Benjamin ask me as I turn to him.

"Station the soldiers throughout the castle, for the worst" I order him as he nods and I walk off. Back to my chambers as I button up my freshly cleaned suit as I take a deep breath. I had to only believe Gehenna had this under control, she was after all the only thing that would save this kingdom, my kingdom.

"Why did you have her keep your dirty little secret?" I hear as I walk into the throne room. Looking to Emilia next to Gehenna as Beth laid her head on Gehenna's shoulder.

"You know nothing!" She defends herself as Emilia meets her refusal with a laugh.

"You did it for your own selfish reason!" Emilia proclaim as Gehenna clenches her fist.

"Nothing about me is selfish when it comes to Beth, I appreciate you caring for her, but make no mistake" Gehenna says as she steps closer to Emilia, towering over her. "You would be dead if you hadn't" she threatens as Emilia stands there, meeting her cold stare.

"Stop!" I say, pushing them back from one another. "We have the a real threat that will be marching through those door any minute!" I reason as suddenly Gehenna stops, freezing as a cold wind breaks through the castle.

"She's coming!" Gehenna declares as I sigh. But I wonder what is going on in her head. Her eyes angered, and stare, distracted. The ground beneath us shook slightly, and the familiar rustling of the fall leaves rustling outside ended. The noise we had grown to know by heart for the past month ended within a second.

"EMILIA!" I yell my sisters name, "Take Rea and lock yourselves in your chambers" I tell her as I hold her hands in mine.

"But William!" Emilia protest as I nod my head to her words.

"NOW! EMILIA!" I command her as her hands slip from mine and she runs off.

"Beth" Gehenna reasons. "You know what will happen if you stay" she warns Beth.

"But I don't want to leave!" Beth angrily says as Gehenna hugs her.

"You know it's for the best" Gehenna whispers as I stand there.

"Okay" Beth agrees as she runs and I move closer to Gehenna.

"Why?" I ask her as she smiles.

"My mother warned her" she say, turning to me and looking in my eyes. "Warned her if she saw. Beth with me again she would slaughter her like a pig" Gehenna admits as she smooths her dress. But suddenly as the wind silenced chaos could be heard outside. "I will hide" she says as she runs off and I sit on the throne.

"WHERE IS SHE!" The crazed woman yells as the doors of the throne room break at her entrance.

"Who?" I ask her as she smiles.

"You ungrateful dog! Give me my daughter back!" She commands as I stand at her presence.

"She is not here!" I tell her as she sneers at me.

"She is" she tell me as she lifts me off the ground, her hands wrapped around my neck. "And you are going to tell me!" She warns as she squeezes on my neck.
