65 Chapter 67

Nex

n. Violent death; murder.

Artemis' POV

The journey back home was rather silent and morbid. I could tell Kieran was worried about me but thankfully he didn't say anything.

I had woken up earlier that night, my face and pillow wet from all the tears. Kieran was hovering over me looking worried and I had explained to him the vision I had seen. After that, I wasn't in much mood to be talking and thankfully, he didn't push me.

"Maybe you should put that away," he suggested. I looked up from the paper, catching his worried blue gaze and the almost pleading look in them so I nodded and put it away.

The first thing I had done once I woke up and narrated the whole vision was that I reached for a paper and pen and sketched the face of the leader. My hands moved expertly across the sheet and I could easily recall every wrinkle and every hair he had.

Needles to say, I had been staring at my drawing for a while now, hoping to maybe catch another vision and find out who he was.
