His redemption

Everybody knew he had it all. Fame, girls, shit ton of money, beautiful parents, charming brothers and best friend.... but, did he! Damon Stone didn't grow up like any normal child. At the early age of 10, he had to learn how to take care of his 8 and 7 year old brothers because his parents were never home. "We won't be home until next week honey, we love you three so much. Take care, mommy and daddy will be home before you know it" They'd say. But it was all a lie, he realised later that all they said was a load of bull and he loathed them so much for choosing money over their own children. His hatred blinded him so much that he started taking it out on other people. At his school, he was known as the 'Demon' with a heart of Stone and he couldn't care less. He loved it, all the fear, it's like he fed off of it. He loved the way girls would practically shit themselves under his gaze just for them to come begging for a one night stand. The way he would intimidate men both older and younger than him due to his strong built body, he loved it. Until he met her. They say that even the coldest hearts deserve to be let in, will she be his saviour! Or will he teach her all he's ever known. Destruction.

Lunch

I didn't see Blossom for the rest of the morning. She must've taken the whole 'stay away from me' nonsense seriously I wanted to laugh. Nobody tells me what to do and certainly not someone I just met, if I'm to leave her then I'll do it on my own terms and not hers. I walked into the cafeteria and sighed looking over the endless rows of food. I caught a couple of Jennifer's friends looking me over but ignored them. I joined Jake and his girlfriend Alessa at our usual table and said my greetings. Almost immediately, the school chefs served us our food and left with a bow of their heads.

"So, how have you been D!" Al asked smiling warmly at me. I shrugged and popped a fry in my mouth.

"That bad huh!" She muttered under her breath and went back to talking with an obviously hungry Jake. He hummed here and there to whatever she said and even laughed when he needed to. I've always respected the kind of relationship these two share. It was something beautiful and out of this world. Jake has always been an annoying and loud bastard and she keeps him in check....she keeps all of us in check. I watched as Jake pretended to lean on the table just to grab a fry when Al wasn't looking.

"Hey guys, whatsup!" Ace said sitting next to me. Alessa and Jake were sitting opposite me on the big round shaped couch with small spaces on either side for someone to enter with a big mahogany table attached to the ground. Something one would find in a café or fast food restaurant but only, fancier and no doubt more expensive.

"Hey A:-"

I smirked and glared at Jake.":-Jake's stealing fries again." He cursed under his breath and turned to Alessa who starred him down in a death glare. Al made a rule when we joined high school that we should always, and I repeat ALWAYS eat together in order to spend more time with each other. I disagreed, obviously but caved in after tear shedding from Al and a whole speech from the boys about how she 'loves' us and wants to maintain the same exact friendship we've had since elementary.

"What! Damon had one and you absulotely had no problem with it." He threw it down on the tray and pouted.

"That's because he had to endure his 'parents' while you boys were God knows where."

"I was with you ALL week-end." He threw his hands up in disbelief and glared back at her.

"EXACTLY you should've been with him for emotional support." Alessa with a deathly glare. Ace snickered and shook his head at the duo whilst I merely looked around for one particular face.

"But that's not fair:-"

":-shut up and wait for the rest of the guys to come THEN you can have you're food."

"Fine." He grumbled and shrunk in the couch, sulking like a baby.

"Anyway, we have a little bowling competition later in the evening. You guys wanna come!" Ace asked looking at the food longingly.

"Don't even think about it." Al warned. He waved his hands in surrender and rolled his eyes.

"Sure, whatever." Jake dismissed.

"Competition with who!" I frowned looking over at Ace.

"Brandon." I scoffed at the mention of the world's biggest loser. Brandon always seemed to be obsessed with everything that I had. Be it girls, money, a lavish life style, the guy had to have it. In other words he wanted to be me and my brothers. It was quite honestly pathetic.

"No."

"No you're not coming? Or no you won't let Brandom and his dead-beat friends win you're only adorable baby brother in bowling!" He verbalised with a hopeful look in his eyes.

"Oh please! More like Phraser is the adorable ba:-" Al said but was rudely cut off by Ace.

"Don't even think about it." He glared at her and she rolled her eyes in response.

I sighed as Phraser and Hayes made there way to the table, occasionally flirting on the way. "I'm not coming Ace."

"C'mon D! We'll beat them as always and get to taste sweet sweet victory while telling Brandon to kiss our asses." He whined hitting the table.

"Hey! Get you're hands off the fucking table." Jake warned looking at the food like the most precious things in the world. Just then, Phray and Hayes sat down laughing at an inside joke.

"I know that's not the only reason you want me there." He laughed nervously and licked his lips.

"Okay fine, yes! You have the power to get under his skin and it's fun to watch. Plus, you're a pro in bowling."

"Have you asked him yet!" Hayes questioned putting a plate in front of him.

"Yes, and I said no."

"He's still thinking about it." Ace butt in glaring at me. Alessa gave us the green light, saving Jake from starving. We all dulged in our food with the occasional 'pass me' this and that. Soon, all the food disappeared and the chefs we're quick to take the now empty plates away.

"Thank fucking finally. What took you guys so long anyway!" Jake asked, taking a glass of water.

"You ate didn't you!" Hayes dismissed rolling his eyes.

"Next time, we're not waiting for you."

"Yes actually, you are." Al said sighing. Silence engulfed us once more, the only noise coming from the near-by school tables. The wind blew in my face with a distant hint of water making me close my eyes. The bell rang and I was first to get on my feet.

"Look at you getting all excited for classes." Al groaned standing up followed by Ace.

"I'm not, I have detention." They all laughed but shut up once they realised I was serious.

"You're serious!" Al gasped looking me with concern.

"And you're going?" Hayes wondered with wide eyes. I nodded my head and frowned at their shocked expressions.

"Well uhm...okay. Take care I guess!" Al mumbled walking away with a confused Jake. I caught a glimpse of Blossom's back retreating from the cafetaria and felt a surge of excitment course through my veins. I was looking forward to talking more with her whilst we're in detention, not the ideal place but I'll take what I got.

"What made the almighty Damon Stone finally attend detention!" Hayes chuckled walking beside me in the school hallways. He carried his gym bag over his shoulder and flexed once he saw some cheerleading girls pass by.

"Nothing." I dismissed, knowing how nosey and annoying he can be. He hummed unimpressed with my reply but said nothing of it, probably waiting until he has more proof of whatever he's thinking to tell the guys then fuck with me.

He reached the gym and we bid our goodbyes after hopeless pleadings to make me go to the stupid bowling competition. I don't even know how this can be a competition when Brandon doesn't know anything about it.

I finally arrived at the said class and opened the door. The first thing I saw was Blossom's sulking face looking at the whiteboard, her gaze snapped to mine and she frowned looking away from me.

"Mr Stone, detention started 25 minutes ago. Have a seat wherever you like." I ignored the gruff old lady and sat at a desk closer to hers.

"Hey princess."

"Shut up." She hissed not looking at me. I chuckled and made myself more comfortable. I know I will love tormenting her for the next hour and a half.
