23 Chapter 22

Katherina Blackwood's POV

The other side of the bed was cold when I woke up and I took a quick shower, running my thoughts over what horrors tomorrow holds because before tomorrow night, I'll either be dead or escape Luca. I wanted to talk to Chris and ask him his plan, since Luca has already left the home but I was interrupted by laughter coming down from the living room.

I walked down to Rickard's cheerful voice talking about tad no sense shit and the others ended up in a belly laugh.

I spotted Parker and Emmalyn first. Cruz saw me and as usual a wicked smirk made its way to his lips. Rickard's sitting adjacent to him and right next to him was Edward.

'The sleeping beauty has finally woken up' Cruz commented and everyone turned towards me.

My eyes fell upon Luca, who was standing near beside Rickard and he gave me a warm smile, which I returned hesitantly.

'Hi' I said, awkwardly and they all smiled at me warmly.
