Where are you going?

The next day, Kaylee woke up and saw Christopher still asleep. She stood up, did her morning routine, and prepared their breakfast. She set their food on the tray and went back upstairs. When she entered the room, Christopher was still asleep. He had worked late last night and needed to get to work early today. Even if she wanted him to rest, she still needed to wake him up.

She put the tray on the bed far away from Christopher as she sat down on the bed. She leaned her head to his ears and tapped his shoulder lightly. "Top, wake up.

It's late." Christopher slowly opened his right eye while his left eye was still closed. Kaylee chuckled and pecked him on the lip. "We're going to be late. Come on, get up."

Christopher smiled while his eyes closed. He wrapped his right hand around Kaylee's waist and pulled her closer. Kaylee screamed as she laughed and hit him on his chest. "Get up. Don't be lazy." Kaylee pulled him up, but he was still unwilling to get up.

"Five minutes."

Kaylee placed both hands on her hand on her waist and looked at him. "If you don't get up now, I will sleep in the other room later."

He opened his eyes and looked at her. He chuckled when he saw Kaylee with her hand on her waist. He sat up, reached for her hand, and pulled her, making Kaylee lay on the bed. She was surprised because she hit the tray, but Christopher immediately grabbed it. He looked at Kaylee, mouthed, 'Sorry,' and kissed her forehead.

Christopher decided to get up and helped her sit on the bed. They both eat their breakfast and prepare for work.

"I'll drive," Kaylee said as she let Christopher sit in the passenger seat. She had slept early last night because she knew this would happen. Because he was still tired, he did not realize he had been asleep the whole trip. Kaylee just let him rest because he would be busy once he got on the Empire.

Kaylee woke him up after she parked the car. She looked worried because she was unsure what time he went to bed. "Top, we're here. Let's go. " He slowly opened his eyes and looked at her. "I'm sorry. Did I fall asleep? " She smiled and nodded. "It's okay. Let's go."

When they entered the office, Liam was already standing beside the conference room door. "Good morning." He greeted them as they entered the office. Christopher looked at his wristwatch as he placed his bag on the couch. "I'll be right there." He said, Liam, nodded and entered the conference room.

He looked at Kaylee and kissed her forehead. "Stay here, okay? I'm expecting a guess later and I have to trouble you to attend to her later since I'll be busy in the meeting. I'll ask Liam to call Anna so you have company. I waved my hand. "No, It's okay. You don't have to bother Anna. I'm fine on my own. "I'll see you later." He said as he held her hand and kissed it.

Kaylee sat on the couch and opened her laptop. Liam still handles Christopher's work schedules and attends important meetings with Christopher, while Kaylee handles his personal matters and reads the proposals of all the marketing department teams. Liam helped her when he was free.

Kaylee read some of the proposals since she had nothing to do. She'll discuss it later with him since Kaylee signed the contract under the Jarvis Empire, which has been their routine. Kaylee will read the proposals and tell him what they are about. Kaylee herself is good at business, especially in marketing, which is why Christopher trusted her.

After an hour Kaylee looked at her wristwatch and stood up. She leaned her ears into the conference door and heard they were still busy in the meeting. She messaged Liam that she was going out for a bit. She didn't get a reply, but the conference room opened after a minute. "Where are you going?"
