If you say so

In the end, Liam dialed Charlotte's number and called her instead.

"Hey."

Liam closed his eyes when he heard her gentle voice. "Hey."

"What's up?"

Liam sighed. "I want to go there, but you know your brother," he said in a frustrated voice.

His grip on his phone tightened when he heard her gentle laugh. "Are you afraid of him?"

"Of course not. It's just that, I don't want to lose his trust."

"Don't worry; let's just take it slowly. After all, Dad hasn't accepted Kaylee yet. I'm fine knowing that you love me too," Charlotte blushed after saying the last sentence.

"I really want to go there," Liam exclaimed in frustration.

Charlotte pressed her lips together. "And I want you here, by my side."

"Do you want me to go there?" He asked.

"Can you?"

"..."

Charlotte smiled weakly when she heard no response. "Don't worry about Topher, after all, We're not going to do anything, I just want you here."

"Okay."

"Don't drop the call."

Liam smiled. "I won't." He put his clothes on and left his room with his phone on his ear.

When he was already in front of Charlotte's room he looked around and said in a lower voice. "I'm going in."

A light "Okay." came from the other line. Liam bit his lower lip.

When he entered the room, he saw Charlotte sitting on the bed with a phone in her ear.

She lifted her head to see Liam standing in the doorway unmoved. She ended the call and placed her phone on her bed without taking her eyes off of him. She stood up and opened her arms.

Liam placed his phone in his pocket and walked toward Charlotte without realizing what he had done.

Charlotte gasped. Her eyes widen while looking at Liam.

His arms wrapped around her waist while her hand was laced on his chest. She slowly closed her eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck and started to respond to the man's kiss. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She didn't expect this would happen. She always pestered and hung around with him, trying her best to make him love her, too.

Liam let go of their kisses, slowly opened his eyes, and held Charlotte's face. He placed his forehead into hers and wiped Charlotte's tears away. "Why are you crying?" He whispered.

Charlotte shook her head. "I... I just can't believe that you'll be going to love me back."

Liam hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. "Silly, even if you don't do anything and end up not loving me the way you do right now, I will still love you. I will always love you even if you keep giving me a hard time."

Charlotte bit her lower lip. "I love you."

"I love you more."

Inside Christopher and Kaylee's room.

Kaylee raised her eyebrow while looking at the man beside him. "Calm down okay?"

Christopher looked at her with a frown on his forehead. "How can I calm down knowing they might end up in the same room."

Kaylee rolled her eyes. "Come on, Liam won't do anything to her. Just focus on me," she said, trying to calm him down. "Come on."

Christopher looked at her and sighed. "If you say so."
