chapter three

I could barely sleep last night since my body was burning and my mind full of weird thoughts . I have never felt this way it was as if the heat was roasting me alive I wanted to scream in pain but I couldn't .

I took a ice shower in the morning then drove myself to the skull mountain which was about a twenty minute drive from my apartment.

     I knew that my mother and Miss Milly would be there with the kids I thought I could ask them but I didn't get a chance this year's student are more then before .

               Angie and I were in charge food while Seth , jack , Sean, and Sonia where in charge of taking c care of the kids .

" I don't like Sonia " Angie said glaring daggers at Sonia " I don't like her either " I replied " just look at her flirting with my mate " she spat , Angie was one of the jealous ones which is the cutest things on earth .

          " Then why don't we punish her " I said wiggling my eye brows " I know that look just what kind of evil plan are you cooking " Angie asked excitedly . That's the reason I love her she's my evil partner . " How about we ..." .

     " Dye her stupid blond hair ! " Angie cutted me off excitement clear in her voice .

     " What are you fine ladies talking about " Seth came asking in a husky voice . Angie stubbornly whipped her head to the side " hey what's wrong with sassy pants " Seth asked me calling Angie with one of her billion pet names " she saw you taking to the hoe.." I whispered .

            " Ohhhhh , you mean that pretty girl with blond hair " Seth teased Angie , they were the cutest couple .

I saw Zack trying to make a tent I went over to help him and get away from these lovers " need a hand " I asked " yeah sure " he replied .

      " So how's the pack business going " I asked trying to make small talk " it's okey " he said shrugging" it used to be much more fun when you used to go " he continued " yeah we used to sneak out and go shopping and to the gaming arcade " I said remembering the days when I had hope of finding a mate .

" Yeah we used to have so much fun Zeke is the most boring person in the world " he said laughing .

" How's Sarah " I asked about his mate . Sarah and I were in the same class in high school she was the quite girl who got bullied a lot so one day I beat up one of her bullies for which I got in a lot of trouble for but after that we became nice friends she's not lie Angie and Seth or even me .

        " She studying medicine " Zack replied . " Sofia can you come here " I heard my mother call me . I started hiking where my mom was when something caught my eye it was that same spot...where the picture was taken , I guess I should doubt my memory but how can I . I stared at that picture for 3 hours straight before Angie came and scolded me for being late . I heard my mother call for me again but it was as if she was very far away .

       All my attention was at that spot were the same wild flowers in the picture were I started to walk in that direction I was near that tree where I saw him before I could walk any  further a hand came and pulled me from my trance " sweetie your mother has been calling you name for 10 minutes" Miss Milly said " I didn't heard ..." I trailed but she cut me off " oh my , what happened to you are you feeling alright" .

" Yes....maybe no , I need to talk to you about something" I said " we can after we go back to the camp " she said taking my hand in hers and pulling me out of the bushes .

    When we reached camp everyone froze . I saw angie , Seth and my mother running towards me " Sofia are you feeling alright" my mother asked me " no I feel like I'm burning from the inside " I described my pain which for some reason was increasing " Zack take her to the hospital immediately" Miss Milly ordered her son " what's wrong .... with ....me " I asked, every muscle in my body tense .

Suddenly there was a big ripping voice around us . " The transformation is happening" I heard Seth say in a loud voice .

          Suddenly my ears were filled with howl's.

   " Angie, Seth take her in the tent now and call my husband" I heard Miss Milly say suddenly I was in Seth's arm bridal style and he was running towards the safe camp where the wolfs could not come " what do we do " Angie asked " I don't know what's happening to her " I faintly heard Seth .

The burning in me was increasing by every second . It was so bad I that I was wishing for death my head was hurting as well .

            I could faintly hear Seth's and Angie's worried conversation I faintly heard cars then howling , lots of howling and men talking before I fainted from the pain of burning .

My head felt so light as if I was on a cloud but suddenly it was as if someone was poking needles in my head I opened my eyes from the pain only to meet bright lights meeting my eyes .

The bright light brought pain so I quickly covered by eyes with my hand .

       " Stay calm sweetie your in the nurses room " I heard Miss Milly . " How ?.....what happened" I asked .

" I don't know what happened but I have a few guesses " she said .

        With pushing my wight on my hands I sat up on the bed " this is what I wanted to talk to you about it's the same pain I felt last night but today it was worse " I explained.

" Last night ?... You mean the night before last night " she said " what how long have I been ?...." .

" A whole day " she replied to my uneven question . " How ? " I asked .

She threw a book on my bed in response . I picked the book up and read it's title Anatomy of Mates .

        " What's this " I asked her .

" Sofia you have a mate "
