chapter one

My life was normal but not so normal , me not being a morning person was running late to work . I know they can't fire me because my father owns the school but still .

I reached the school building and went straight to my office receiving a few weird glances from my colleagues .

I was quite popular in our pack . My name ....well I go by many , the most popular one being the unfortunate one but my real name was Sofia Blackwater , that's not the the only reason I'm famous my father is the beta of one of the most famous packs in the world the Blue moon pack .

I reached my desk and started doing my work on the computer , my work was to arrange activities for the kids . " so where's the trip going " Angie came suddenly scaring me " god Angie you scared me " I said slapping her on the back " I've thought maybe we could take them to the skull mountain " I said " why that place " Angie said groaning" because the junior section kids have to transform in their wolfs so I thought it would be a good and spacious place to help them understand wolf anatomy " I finished .

" that's a good idea " I heard my Seth say from behind me . He came and took Angie's hand and kissed it " what can I give you my lady " he said in a husky voice " maybe your .." Angie was saying but I cut her off .

" Guys! we're at world " I said seth took Angie's hand and led her towards the supply closet .

Seth and Angie are my best friends and also mates to be honest they are the cutest mate . I still remember the day Angie turned 18 and looked in Seth's eyes . The magic was extraordinary everyone felt it , I did as well .

Well I was the one of the unfortunate one's who never have a mate , at first it was very hard for me I looked for 3 years eagerly I was very depressed but one day my father came and said " sweetie don't worry you'll find him maybe he's from another pack " . after that my father took permission with the packs Alpha to take me on every pack business trip , after two years we had visited every single pack in this country but I still could not find a mate , after that I became famous even in other packs .

I was mostly known as the unfortunate one who could not find a mate .

" Sophia did you arrange the trip " my father came asking me . " yes I'm almost done " I replied going back on my computer " will you be able to do it today so I can arrange it tomorrow , the kids are very excited " he said looking suspiciously at the closet. " yes , it will be completed in an hour or so " I replied .

" yes , that would be perfect " he said while opening the closet door revealing an almost naked Seth and Angie . " meet me in my office " he ordered Seth and Angie then left the office .

" well that was exciting " Seth mumbled " we're in so much trouble " Angie said fixing her shirt " I don't know what you expected , having sexual intercourse at work , in the supply closet on the products we're suppose to give to the kids " I said finishing my work and looking at them . " well we didn't think of that " Seth said .

" but now your in trouble " I replied " and now that you are going to dad's office please take this file with you " I said " yeah yeah we might be getting fired and you want us to take this to him " Angie said sarcastically . I laughed at her sarcasm and turned my laptop off " well that was all of my work I'm gonna head home " I said and left the office" I'll drop by at night " I heard Angie say " make sure you bring something to eat as well " I said , it's not like I could not cook but I didn't feel like cooking today .

I got out of the school building and went to the parking lot . I went to my car and started to drive out .

Most people think wolf packs are situated in hills , mountains or forests , well that's not all true only a few small packs lives in forests most of them have their own society but since our pack is the second biggest in the country with 50,000 people we have a whole town with apartments , houses , cafe's , malls , bowling alleys and many more . I took a left turn and came to the biggest mansion in our town it is the the home of our Alpha and Luna with them their kids and family but in this big mansion also lives the packs Beta ( my father ) and his family ( me my brother Rodrigo and my mom) and the packs gamma for security .

I parked my car in the parking lot and went inside . The entrance hall was huge I still remember playing with Samantha and Samuel

but now that I do not live here anymore it seems strange coming here . I don't like coming here I remember the day of my birthday when I was roaming these halls filled with people looking for my mate dancing with handsome boys wishing that someone will be my mate .

after that night I realized one thing that non of the men in our pack was my mate but no one gave up . My mother and even our packs Luna miss Milly who is a close friend of my mother was there for me telling me not to give up .

in this mansion it was always like we were a big family . I didn't live here anymore I moved out in the apartment building nearby .

No one was more sad then miss Milly she was like a second mother .

The only reason I'm here today is because there is a meeting on the junior pack kids .

The kids in the junior classes are mostly 10 to 12 year old . This is the age when the kids begin their transformation and become wolfs not permanently but they stay in that for sometime untill they figure out how to transform back , almost all the kids figure it out in an hour or so but for some special kids it takes time maybe about a week .

That's why we take take them on mountains or forests so they can transform and run freely so that they won't feel tense .

" omg sis you look like garbage " I heard Rodrigo say " you look like shit as well " I replied back " no need to be sassy " he said chuckling " hey what's that smell " he said pinching his nice . " what I don't smell anything " I said " omg sis you reek of garbage I knew you were broke but I didn't knew you started dumpster diving as well " he said it laughing loudly . I narrowed my eyes and went towards the conference room where everyone was waiting for me and my stupid ass brother.

I went and sat where my family was sitting beside me was miss Milly and her two sons Zack and Zeke Elliott and at the head of the table was Mr Elliott ( packs alpha ) and in front of me was Mr Rogers who is the gamma of the pack and his wife miss Annie and her daughter with her son and mate .
