“Matron, Gemma refuses to prepare the breakfast for the children and is still in bed, Anna is missing and so are the other girls,” Jenny told her.

“Anna ran away, the other three are at the hospital because they fell in last night. Gemma must be tried as she was up with me and must be worried about the girls as well, but that doesn’t mean she should neglect the children. I would see about Gemma, just make sure the babies and toddlers are taken care of,” Annabel said before walking out of her room and heading towards Gemma’s room which was next to the kitchen.

Just as Annabel was passing she saw all the kids happy eating their breakfast, it was clear that Gemma made sure the children were taken care of before returning to her room. She believed that Gemma would have been a good mother if ever she wanted to have children.
