13 The interview

As she was heading to the interview. She was delighted that finally..., she was going to be working. This made her happy cause she would be able to travel around looking for her mother. Since she was taken away many years ago. Cat and her family, have no idea of where her mother was taken away. Her dad informed her that it was their rival kingdom who took her after they defeated them. She couldn't understand the reason why her mother was taken away. What did she have that made them take her away...? This were the questions that were rotating in her mind and thoughts. She promised her family that she would do everything in her power to bring back their queen. She didn't tell anyone of where she was coming from. Her dad informed her that it would be safer if she didn't disclose her true identity. She had to lie to her friends, she had to do it for her family. Even though Brianna and Zack were her good friends, she couldn't disclose who she was to them. Her dad informed her that telling people her identity might jeopardize her plan.

After a couple of minutes she arrived at the place where the interview was held. There were so many people awaiting to be interviewed just like her. She sighs heavily as her name was called after a few minutes of waiting. Cat stood up and followed the lady who called her. As she entered the room, three people were there. They all had a faint grin on their faces. "You are welcomed Miss Catina right...", one of them pointed out.

"Yes, it's me", even though deep down she was nervous. She tried her best to appear bold and courageous. She held her head high as she stared at the three without shying off.

"Do you know that you will be a personal assistant to our director", one of the interviewees raised a question. Before she came to the interview. She knew the kind of job she would be doing if she secured the job. To her being a personal assistant seemed like an easy job. She hoped that she would get this job.

"Yes, I know that", Cat hastily replies with a slight grin on her face. She didn't mind being a personal assistant as long as she got the money.

"Good just tell us why we should hire you", the other one asked. She informed them that she is self-driven and so hardworking. They all listened to her as she informed them why they should hire her.

"Thank you for your time. You will be called later if you don't receive the call just know that you ain't hired", one of the interviewees mentioned.

"Thank you", Cat stood up and headed to the door. As she was heading to the washroom. She saw Shawn standing at the terrace near the washroom. His eyes lightened with joy as he stared at her in curiosity. He must be asking himself why she was there. She wanted to pretend like she didn't see him but she couldn't. He had already spotted her from the time she exited the interview room.

"Hey just come ", he called her. She was planning to not go to him. She didn't like how he always wanted her to do what he wanted. She was annoyed that he was asking her to go to him and not the other way around. Since she woke up in good moods, she decided to go and see what he wanted.

"Yeah", she asked with a frown on her face. She couldn't believe that she was meeting him again. Unlike the other times, she met him. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie. Cat stared at him for a couple of seconds, she just admired how he looked. Even though she couldn't tell him that he was smartly dressed. The way she stared at him, her stare said it all. She wasn't good at pretending.

"You have to bring back my t-shirt", he wanted to meet her again. He couldn't stop to think about her. He wanted to know her better so that he could try his shot with her.

"I will but not in your place", she states. She didn't want to go back to his place. The last time she was there he was acting so freaky and she didn't like that. She didn't like that he thought cause he's handsome, that every girl should accept him. Even though she liked how handsome he was, she couldn't picture herself with him.

"No why but you have my t-shirt", he wasn't interested in the t-shirt. He just wanted to see her again.

"What are you doing here. Are you following me", she raised a question. A chuckle escaped from his lips as his eyes were locked with hers. He thought that she was starting to be paranoid over nothing.

"Hell no why should I follow you", he couldn't believe that she was thinking that he was following her. He had no idea that she was around the building. He was minding his own business when he saw her heading to the washrooms.

"I will send someone to bring your t-shirt to your apartment happy now", she funnily raised her lips as a forced smile appeared on her face. She wasn't going to play his silly games like before.

"No I want you to meet me up and bring my t-shirt", he wasn't making things easy for her. He wanted to see her and only her.

"Okay fine I will but now imma tired have to go", she mentioned as a yawn escaped from her mouth.

"Don't sleep here I won't be able to carry you like before", he chuckled as he patted her shoulder.

"Meet you soon Cat", a voluntary smile appeared on his face. It was a smile of happiness, he was delighted that they met again.

"Whatever Shawn...", she said as she headed to the bathroom. He shook his head with a slight grin on his face. He then headed to the elevator.
