6 Startled

"I know you are jealous", he insisted. He wasn't making it easy for her. She just wanted to leave and go rest far away from him.

"Fine Shawn can you let me go now", she says rolling her neck from side to side. Her eyes were turning red as she tried to open them. She squeezed her eyes then opened them wide to stay awake.

"Let's go I have to take you home. You aren't in the best state to walk alone on the streets", he states as he stared at her. He could see how she was extremely exhausted and sleepy. She was yawning all the time.

"Oooh fine let's go", she finally accepted his request. She knew he was right. She couldn't go all alone at night.

"Sure Cat...", he stretched his hand towards her and gripped her hand tightly. She assumed and followed him.

He opened his car for her to enter. Immediately she sat on the seat her body felt better as she relaxed. As he was helping her to buckle her seat belt. She couldn't take it anymore and closed her eyes.

He went closer to her as he watched her while sleeping. She looked so innocent and beautiful, his lips curved up slightly as he caressed her hair. His eyes were still glued to her as he stared at her admiring her beauty.

"Such a sleeping beauty", his lips enveloped his face as he grinned speaking to Cat who was still asleep. He stretches his hand as he starts to caress her face. She opened her eyes slowly trying to adjust to the morning light. She rubbed her eyes to confirm that it was a guy who was next to her staring at her while still asleep.

"Shawn...!!!", she gaped as her jaws dropped. She couldn't believe that she spent the night at his place.

"Yes sleeping beauty you are finally awake", his eyes shone as he winked at her.

"What happened...!!! What did you do to me...!!! How did I end up here...!!! Why can't I remember anything...!!! Tell me what did you do to me Shawn!!" her voice was shaky as she opened her eyes widely staring straight into his eyes. Her brows wrinkled as her heartbeat pounded faster. She never thought that she would have ended up in his house when she first went to the party.

"Relax little one you have nothing to worry about. Didn't do anything to you am a very good man", his eyes widened as he assured her that she had nothing to worry about.

"I have to go", she says getting out of the bed. He stood quickly and went towards her blocking her way.

"You can't go without taking breakfast. Remember I told you am a very good guy", he stated leaning on the wall as she stood close to him staring at him. She sighed deeply then headed back to the bed as she sat on the bed's edge.

"How did I end up here...", she raised a question.

"I carried you of course", he informed her heading towards his closet. He took a shirt and wore it. She stared at him the entire time not uttering anything. She thought of how it would have been if they would be a couple but, Immediately shoved the idea when she remembered him smooching that girl he called a nobody.

"Oooh nice thanks", she informed him her eyes still glued at him. He expected her to react and start asking so many questions but she didn't.

"Aaaah yeah, so you believe didn't do anything to you...", he decides to ask her.

"Yes I do", she nodded. He informed her that he couldn't wake her up since she was asleep and didn't know where her house was. She accepted his explanation, he led her to his living room. He's place is a lavish fancy apartment. As she stared at the place she knew that he was a rich guy.

"You have a nice place here", she informed him as he was preparing breakfast.

"Aaah thanks I live here alone", he informed her.

"How many bedrooms do you have", she asks the unexpected question. She wanted to know why he laid her on his bed where he slept close to her.

"It's three bedrooms all ensuite", he answered her. She stood and headed towards the kitchen area. She wanted to see what he was preparing since her stomach started to rumble.

"Ooh, and why did you put me on your bed huuh", she lifted a brow at him. He scoffed as he turned to look at her.

"Cause wanted you to be close to me so that could watch you", he stated. She let out a chuckle, to her that was hilarious. It was the last thing she thought he would tell her.

"Really why", she wanted to understand why he said that.

"Cause maybe you might be an imposter or a little dangerous creature", he stated. Her eyes widened up as her brows creased. He was more paranoid than her.

"Who are you why think like that. Am the one who should be afraid of you", she wanted to understand why he was thinking like that.

"Never mind it's so early now. Let's take breakfast first", he didn't answer her questions. She decided to assume about the matter and let it go. He went back to finish preparing the breakfast. In a couple of minutes, he was done. Cat was impressed by how the breakfast was so delicious despite him being a guy, he prepared the meal well. She finished taking the breakfast quickly and headed to his bathroom to shower. He gave her one of his sweatsuits to wear.

"Wow you so pretty in that", his eyes widened up as he stared at her as she walked into the living room.

"Thank you... will return it soon", she glanced at herself for a while turning around in front of him.

"Yes you are welcomed", his lips curved up slightly he was happy that they had a chance to meet for the second time.

"I have to go now thanks for everything though", she informed him.

"I can take you home", he offered. She assured him that there was no need to take her home. She didn't want him to know where she was staying before knowing who he was and his main motives.
