12 It's not that

As she was heading home, she couldn't stop to think of what happened back at Shawn's apartment. Her forehead wrinkled as she remembered how he tried to smooch her. "He is just a pervert. Shit!! I have his cloth", as she stared at the t-shirt she was wearing. she remembered that, she wore his cloth again. She wasn't planning to return it to his house again. It's like destiny wanted them to meet again. She didn't want to see him again cause of his stubbornness.

She sighs heavily as she layed her head on the chair. She didn't want to call Shawn again to ask where they would meet so that she could return his t-shirt. Later after thinking critically she decided that she won't contact him.

"What the hell!! did you two!!! whoah", Brianna's eyes widen immediately Cat stepped into the house. She was wearing Shawn's shirt and holding her wet dress. Brianna knew that something must have happened cause she was wearing Shawn's t-shirt.

"Hell no we didn't do anything", she lies. She sits on the couch then sighs heavily. Brianna rises and heads to the couch she was sitting on. She wasn't convinced that nothing happened between them.

"Tell me the truth what did he do. You seem troubled...?" She raised a brow at him. Catina knew that she had to tell her the truth. She knew that her mood had changed since she arrived at the house. There was no way that she was going to pretend as nothing happened.

"He kissed me. I mean I kissed him", she stated. Brianna clapped her hands as her eyes brightened up. Throughout her campus life, Catina didn't date, and that made Brianna sad. She couldn't understand the reason why Cat always refused all the men who approached her.

"That's awesome wow. What was the kiss like", she wanted to hear more about it. Catina scoffed not believing that she found it amusing.

"It was just a peck nothing more happened", she didn't inform her of how she stamped on his foot when he tried to smooch her more. She decided to keep that a secret.

"This is interesting it seems like a fairy tale. How did you end up with his cloth", she raised a brow at her. Even though the t-shirt was borrowed. Catina looked so beautiful in it.

"I poured wine on my dress", she showed her the dress as proof. Brianna was so amused by how their story seemed like a romantic movie.

"You will return it to his house so that he can give you another kiss", a chuckle escaped from her lips. She couldn't contain herself any longer. Catina's story was interesting to her.

"No never if he doesn't agree we meet at a public place won't give him", she vowed not to go to his house again.

"Okay I think you like this guy don't you", Brianna raised a brow at her. She has never seen Cat so annoyed since they met.

"Never I don't like him", she hastily replies assuring her that she never liked Shawn at all.

"Okay time will tell if you do like him", she lightly chuckles then heads to her bed to relax. Someone knocks on the bell, Catina goes to the door to open it.

"Zack...", she says as she opens the door wider for him.

"Why did take her for a date when i was not around", Immediately he entered the house, those were the first words Brianna told him.

"Cause I wanted to. Will take you both another day so that you can relax", Zack lightly chuckled. He knew how Brianna is stubborn. She wasn't happy that they went on a dinner date without her. Since Catina entered the campus, she's been around Brianna and Zack all the time. Other than her other casual friends who they interacted with from time to time. To her, Brianna and Zack were her only closest friends she got when on campus.

"Okay waiting for that day. Cat I think it's time that we look for a better place since you will be working soon", Brianna points out. Since they were living in a studio apartment, she thought that acquiring a bigger house would be better.

"I think that's a great idea since am certain will get that job", Cat mentions with a wide grin on her face. She was glad that everything in her life currently was going on well.

"When is the interview", Zack raised a question. He wanted to know if she secured the job or went for the interview.

"It's on Monday, can't wait for that day to reach", Cat states. She wanted to be independent so that her dad could use the money he sends to her, to search for their mother. She wanted to be independent so that she could have money to travel around as she searched for her mother.

"Wish you the best", Zack's lips curved up widely as his eyes were glued on her.

"Yes, how about you. Have you gotten a job yet", Cat asks him.

"Yeah, I did get. Will start my work on Tuesday", he mentions.

"That's awesome. We are so happy for you. Let's now cook, imma hungrily", Brianna mentions. Since she wasn't a fan of cooking. She wanted Cat to join her in the kitchen area so that she could cook.

"Am coming... let me bring you something to drink", she informed Zack as she headed to the kitchen area. She brought mango juice. As usual, he thanked her for offering him the drink. Cat later joined Brianna in the kitchen area. She started to cook as Brianna helped her where she could. After a few minutes, they were done cooking. They all ate, and Zack left them. Since he was leaving close by, he left quite late. After he left, Brianna informed Cat that she had to contact Shawn soon so that she could return his tshirt. Cat refused and informed her that she wasn't going to call him this time. She didn't mind remaining with his cloth.
