"I think it's the right time we call him", Brianna winks at her with the card in her hand.

"But i... it's too early to call him", Cat hastily replies. She didn't want to call him. She didn't want to look desperate since it was all a game but the guy left her his number.

"No, but... it's been two days since you met him. You won't look desperate and style up girl, this is twenty-first century", Brianna states.

"Aaaah I don't like this", Cat pouts. She wasn't happy that Brianna was still insisting that she calls the guy.

"You have to like it. You need a man in your life now girl", she takes Cat's phone and dials his number. "And speak...".

Cat sighs as she waits for him to take the call. "Hey....", the guy picks her call. 

"Hey am Cat. We met two days ago at a club. You gave me your card and here I am calling you", Cat informs him. Brianna claps her hands excitedly. She was happy that she was able to talk to him without shying off. 

"Woow... I do remember you. Been waiting for your call", he informs her. She sighs relieved that he was waiting for her to call. 

"Aaah nice...", Cat didn't know what to tell him next. Brianna frowned as she stared at her hoping she would ask him for a date or something. 

"So I have a party next week. I would love it if you will promise me that you will come", he informs her. Brianna instructs her to accept the invitation. 

"I will come", She assures him. 

"Good thank you. Will call you that day to tell you more about the party. Thanks for calling looking forward to seeing you soon", he informs her. 

"Thank you too". she says as the call ends.

"Yaaay so you will go right", Brianna raised a brow at her. She hoped that she would attend the party as she promised.

"I don't have a choice do I?" Cat frowns. She seemed uncomfortable with it, but she couldn't go back and refuse the invitation.

"It's time for you to enjoy life. Go to that party and dance... enjoy life girl", she encourages her to attend the party. There was no way she would let her not go.

"Aaaah fine I will go ", Cat accepts. She hardly went for parties and that vibe wasn't her type. Brianna had to force her at times to go to parties. She loved staying home as a way to relax or have fun.

"We have to go and buy you something good to wear", Brianna points out. She wanted her friend to look the best at the party.

"I have clothes here. There is no need for that ", Cat stated.

"No, you don't have the best outfit for that party. Just look at your clothes they are so boring. You need something refreshing... something sexy", Brianna was now acting like her fashion stylist.

"He's not my boyfriend for me to wear that flashy", Cat wasn't feeling like buying the sexy outfits.

"Please girl... you need to look your best", she advised her.

"Okay madam Brianna will do that...".

Cat sighs as she stares at her mother's picture. It was now almost ten years since she saw her. It was painful for her to grow up without a mother. Her father had mentioned the name of the powerful family that took her away as their slave. She vowed to find a way to rescue and bring her mother back home. She had no idea where she would start but she had to do it anyway. Someone knocks at the door and she heads to open it. Zack stands at the door grinning widely at her.

"Wow come in", She invites him inside the house.

"Is Brianna in", he raised a brow at her.

"No she's not...", she answers him.

"I knew it this house is so quiet", he chuckles.

"Yes... she's so noisy", Cat was the silent type, unlike her friend.

"Oooh what happened to her is she your mother...", he asks taking her mother's picture.

"She died", she lies. She couldn't tell him the entire truth.

"Shit sorry are you okay...", he raises a brow at her. He knew something was bothering her since they become friends. She always denied it but deep down he wasn't convinced.

"Am fine...", she faintly grins. Behind her smile was a hurt and angry girl, who pretended that everything was alright.

"Let me buy something for you to eat", she says standing up.

"No need am alright as long as you are here", he assures her.

"Stop trying to act like a gentleman", she heads to the door and goes.

"You didn't have to...", Zack mentions as she serves the meal she bought.

"Just eat stop acting like a pussy....", Cat giggled.

"Oooh, you now act like a little bitch. It seems Brianna is making you behave and talk like her", he states.

"Yes she is the one...", she didn't deny it.

"Okay miss...", he points out as he consumes the meal she just bought.

"How is your girlfriend....", Cat raises a question.

"We broke up yesterday she cheated on me", he informs her.

"What...!!! she's a badass... Sorry Zack", she says.

"Mmmh yeah she's not worthy of me", Zack mentions.

"Yes you will find the one, your such a good guy and you deserve the best", she assures him.

"Yes in the future. I wanna concentrate with my career first... ", He was heartbroken and wasn't ready to be in another relationship yet.

"You are already in your future...", she states.

"Am not that old... I still have a future", he denied her statement.

"No, you are already a grown up. Children are the only people who have a future", she assures him that she was saying the truth.

"No, I still refuse, am just in my early twenties. Haven't yet reached my future", he hastily denies her claims.

"You have a future are you happy now. You have won", she surrenders.

"Yes Cat we do have a future...", he states.

"No... am not part of your future...".

"Oooh... I want you to be part of my future", he winks at her.

"What do you mean by that", she wasn't understanding what he meant.

"Never mind Cat it's nothing", he lied.
