Chapter Ninety Three; leave please.

Ray immediately ran his hands over his hair before sighing in frustration.

"SHIT!" He let out as his anger oozed through the room. His eyes met with Laura's who seemed rather shocked and confused.

"ARGHHH! FUCK" he screamed at top of his lungs.

He ran his hands through his hair again before making his way to his bed where he sat down.

'first of all, how did Laura get in? And not just in his house but his room!' who let her in? He didn't care who it was, but as long as the female is not Amanda, whoever it was is not to be let in if he was not heard from.

"Why didn't you call?" He asked calmly but with an obvious temper.

"We already had a plan, then I saw the news, besides, I did call, but you didn't pick up," she said calmly as her gaze was gently on him.

"Then you should have waited," he said rubbing his forehead, thinking of how fucked everything about that night was.

"I was worried," Laura responded with a gentle soft tone.

Ray sighed before speaking and he could only hope she would take his response lightly.

"I guess you have seen that am fine," a little smile curled through his lips. He just wanted her gone from his presence. No ill feelings, but he wanted to be alone. He put his hands over his forehead in a way that covered his eyes. He let out a thick groan at the general body pain he was feeling.

"Are you okay?" He heard her ask, but the problem was that he now felt her presence before him. The heat of her closure caused him to take his hands away from his face.

She was before him with a worried look.

"You seem stressed and in need of a good rest," she said.

'yes! I do!' he screamed in his mind. ' but the first step to go about it is if you leave me alone,' his inside voice added. It was appalling to him that she wasn't at all fazed by the little scuffle he had with Amanda just seconds ago,  she just continued as if nothing happened, and that didn't sit well with him.

"Yes, and some alone time too," Ray tried to sound polite to her, maybe she just really cared

"I get it," he heard her say.

"I should go," she added.

"Mmm," he let out in agreement with what she said.

In a little while, Laura was out of his view, she had left and the night's activities were recalled in his head.

After over eight years, he was able to tell another woman that he loved her.

He loved her, he loved Amanda, he was sure. Only the thought of loving her had his inside feeling funky.

But the problem now was that he might have lost her. He might have lost her and he would not even blame that on Laura.

It was his fault, solely his fault.

'why did he wait this long to tell her?'

'Why did he drive after being intoxicated? Causing all this commotion that led to Laura being there in the first place.'

He sighed, running his hands through his hair before he just laid back, now facing the ceiling of his room.

Ray felt the morning light fall on his shut eyes from his windows, he had abruptly fallen asleep the night before.

Odd to fall asleep like that, but he would blame it on the meds the doc gave him. It probably had a stress-relieving medication, and most stress-relieving medications were mostly known to induce sleep, so it should be what caused his unplanned sleep.

He stretched out of the bed as it immediately rang in his head.

Amanda!
