33. The Date (1)

Gea was just coming back from walking around trying to dealing with her feelings and how she would face David later on, she thinks she needs to be direct and firm to know how David really feel before deciding anything.

Just when she decided to get David in Andrea house she saw David come out from a cab. She saw Lyla waving at David when she just wants to call him.

She clench her fist and walked inside her house, she heard Lyla yell "See you tonight" just before she enters the house.

Gea head to the bathroom put warm water in the bathtub and relax for almost an hour before continue reading a novel in her bed and fall asleep.

Dave wakes her up a half-hour before their date schedule as Gea does not really take a lot of time to get dressed.

When Gea walked out from her room wearing a black Midi dress, jeans jacket, sports shoes and small round sling bag made from ratan the Twins were ready at the living room with their new hair cut and nice casual outfit matching their uncle who wears jeans and a Black t-shirt with a grey blazer that matched his boots.

Ava Wear knee-length Navy dress while Dave wearing black pants with a Navy shirt and boots.

Jane was wearing midi jeans dress with a black jacket and sports shoes.

David feels this will be really great if something caught up to Lyla and she's not able to join them. Their clothing is like a statement that they are a couple with their children and that puts a big smile on his face

Anna and Dave using Gea car as the Twins want to use their uncle car and do not want to be in the same car with Dave and Gea. Jane board in David passenger car and insist Gea should seat in the front passenger car reasoning that children should not seat in the front seat and it would be to crowded if four of them gonna seat in the back.

David already booked three private room at the restaurant to avoid any other problem

Lyla will head directly to the restaurant right after her interview which is made David feel very relieved.

However, he still feels a headache from the room arrangement as he knows his nephews would want to be with Gea as this is supposed to be their date.

He couldn't ask Dave and Anna to join Him and Lyla unless they're offered it first, he not planning to irritate Dave, He already fell for convincing Jane because she wants to be in the same room with Gea and the twins seem Ok with that as long as it wouldn't be another guy beside them both.

The aura surrounding him irritating whoever who wants to get closer, the valet guy just take his key and hurried gets to park the car.

A waiter welcoming them told that Lyla already therewith another couple waiting in one of the room.

Ava walks with Dave while looking at her boss, wishing that she could have anything to calm the storm that would arrive at the office, She wishes Edward all the best as He usually becomes their shield.

It hit Ava that for their time working with this great man She and Anna should always thank more Edward for what he did, not only that he spent more hours dealing with Anna and Ava works for them to get home early, He also the man who maintains the calm atmosphere surrounding this Great Man.

Gea, Jane and the twins walked directly to their room As Dave and Ava enter their own.

David's turn to cold and aloof when he entered the room that already occupied by Lyla and another couple that probably her friends to accompany them.

Even David is known as Strict person and aloof person, he still has his manner and treats a woman nicely. He only acts and harshes to Edward cause he knows him well and with Edward, he feels like he deals with his own brother, the same thing with Dave, just the circumstances a little bit different due to their workload that make them rarely met.

The view and the greeting that welcomes him in the room cured David's headache instantly making him release a really tremendous smile.

"Gave yourself, Anna and Ava double extra hours bonuses for this week" David whispered in Edwards's ear

Apparently, the couple that accompanies Lyla was Edward and Anna who use work as their excuses to meet her and avoiding the storm that predicted earlier by Ava.

Edward really know him well, David thanked him a lot in his head, however, when the thought of Edward know him well make David fell the bitterness in his heart as he recalls what Gea says before that she would prefer Edward than him.

Saw the slightest change in David's eyes, Edward goes directly to address their intentions

"I am really sorry to intrude on your date, as there are several topics involved both of you that need to be dealt with immediately"

Edward paused for a further reaction or even a reply from both of their artist, Seen them have none Edward continue to speak up

"There are news and pictures ready to be circulated regarding your relationship, however, considering Miss Red is a new rising star and Mr Stevenson is our A list actor, I need further explanation on your relationship for us to be prepared"

"I meet her tonight, by my mother request and her aunt is someone who I respect, I acknowledge Miss Red as a coworker and acquaintance," David reply right away

Lyla was surprised by David answers, she expected that at least they are here to getting know each other, however, she glad that David answer first and she was safe from getting humiliation if she were the one who answered first

"Is there any indication that it will be other than that?" Edward needs to be direct to keep Lyla understand and cut her from any hope, she may have.

"We are getting to know each other, as a relationship is something unpredictable where it's gonna ended... I can't give you a definite answer" Lyla still hope it could grow into something later on

"I could only have Miss Red as someone who works in the same environment as me, we could exchange some words or say hello whenever we met and that's it. I have someone I dearly care and still not want to share with everybody yet who she is, and I do not think she wants to be known as well.

I haven't told my mother and the results of it we have to meet like this, for that my apologies to Miss Red, I owe her nothing apart from that."

David explained the situation briefly, understood that this is what he wants and Edward understand it very well that's why he makes those questions.
