Dominique cast a sorrowful gaze at the wedding portrait. "Becoming my woman?"

Athena was rendered speechless for a moment. Dominique was giving her one shock after another.

'Is he serious?' Athena stared at him, assessing his facial expression.

'My prey is taking my bait. But I have to make sure that he is serious about this.' Athena smiled inwardly. This was what she needed– the opportunity to get closer to him.

She didn't expect that Dominique would bring this up today. The last time she talked to him, she saw the hesitation in his eyes. But now, all she could see was desperation.

'What triggered him to reconsider my offer? Is it because he and Sasha are still having an argument? I must seize this opportunity.'

"Yes, of course. My proposal is still valid. Are you willing to accept it now?" Athena asked him expectantly, her heart racing with anticipation.
