17 Tales of deception 2

Pants and groans filled the room, as Roderick thrust in and out of Lilith. She gritted her teeth with hatred and disgust as she let the man have his way with her.

She could feel the pain slowly creeping into her, as Roderick hungrily and mercilessly devoured and pounded into her not caring if she was hurt or not.

Lilith had always found Roderick repulsive, with his bulging gut and sweaty skin. She only tolerated him because he was the king and had power over her... Well in the meantime, however every time he touched her, she felt like she needed to scrub herself clean.

As he lay there on top of her, panting with pleasure, Lilith couldn't help but feel disgusted wash over her. She looked at him, trying to hide the revulsion behind a mask of indifference.

Lilith had been waiting for this moment for far too long. She was tired of being a mere pawn in the game of politics, used by Roderick to further his selfish interests. It was time to take matters into her own hands.

As she encircled her hands around Roderick's neck, an evil smile slowly made its way toward her lips. But Roderick who continued to pant was unaware of the danger lurking behind Lilith's sweet smile, but he was taken aback at how quickly her indifferent look was suddenly replaced with a smile and he mistook it as a smile of satisfaction, which made him pump faster into her.

The ring Lilith wore slowly produced a blade, ready to pierce through Roderick's flesh, but at the last moment, Lilith hesitated. She didn't want to kill him just yet. Not until he was under her complete control.

Lilith let go of Roderick's neck, while the blade in her ring slowly returned in. She let her hands sprawl on both sides of the bed, putting on a show of submission and subservience. The king didn't suspect a thing as he looked at Lilith, thinking he had won her over with pleasure. He couldn't have been more wrong.

Lilith had already planned her next move and it would be swift and deadly. She knew Roderick would not see it coming. Her evil smile widened as she thought about the look on his face when he realized that she was not a mere pawn anymore but a queen in her own right.

For now, she would bide her time till the opportune moment arrived. But she had already prepared his death day down to the smallest detail. Roderick may think he was in control now, but soon enough it would be Lilith who pulled all the strings.

The kingdom would never be the same again once she had her way.

The bed session was interrupted when a loud knock came landing on the door. Roderick had been fully immersed in trying to please himself and ignored the first few knocks, but when the knocking persisted, he groaned in frustration and asked who was at the door.

Special Advisor Blackwood's voice rang out, saying there was an urgent message from the court that required immediate attention. Roderick's mood shifted immediately as he got up abruptly from the bed, leaving Lilith feeling discarded like a piece of trash.

As he quickly put on his robe to leave, Roderick pushed Lilith away as if she meant nothing to him and made his way toward the door. He slammed it shut behind him as he left without acknowledging her presence.

Lilith watched as Roderick got dressed and left without a word. She couldn't help but feel relieved that their time together had been cut short.

As soon as the door slammed shut, Lilith let out a deep breath she had been holding. The expression of disgust on her face showed just how much she despised the king.

But just as Lilith was eagerly ready to wash up and get dressed, a searing pain shot through her head. She gasped, clutching at her temples as the agony pulsed through her skull.

Lilith gasped in horror as she watched her once youthful legs turn bony and frail. She clutched at her aching body, trying to comprehend what was happening to her.

As the pain continued to spread through her limbs, Lilith tried to stand up, but her body gave out beneath her weight. Her head spun as she fell back onto the bed with a thud.

Lilith's breathing became shallow and raspy as she struggled to catch her breath. Her skin began to sag and wrinkle, and gray hairs sprouted from her head, replacing her once beautiful locks.

She slowly crawled to the mirror to examine herself, Lilith was frozen in place as she watched her youthful appearance disappear before her eyes. Her heart pounded rapidly in her chest, and her mind raced with panic as she tried to make sense of what was happening.

The pain continued to spread through her body, and even her thoughts seemed to slow down as if being sucked away by an invisible force.

In a matter of minutes, Lilith had transformed from a beautiful young woman into an elderly one, with wrinkled skin, sparse hair, and weak bones. She felt helpless and vulnerable, knowing that this was her true form and that there was no going back.

Lilith's mind raced with possibilities, trying to figure out how this could have happened. She thought back to anything that could have caused this sudden transformation.

As realization dawned on her, Lilith remembered something! Roderick had slept with her and that was what had broken the spell!

Just as she was fuming in anger, she heard footsteps approach the chambers and a feeling of dread slowly crept into her heart. The door was unlocked, and someone could make their way in quicker. She wondered if it was King Roderick who was now done with Advisor Blackwood, and fear seized every breath in her.

Lilith scanned the room frantically, searching for a place to hide. But before she could even reach for the doorknob, it began to turn slowly.

With no time to spare, Lilith used her last ounces of energy to crawl towards the door aiming at closing it. Her heart pounded so loud, she felt it might just bust out of her ribs.

As the footsteps drew closer, Lilith's fingers finally reached the lock on the door. With shaking hands, she pulled it towards herself until it clicked into place.

As she exhaled a sigh of relief, Lilith's mind raced with panic. Who was on the other side of that door? Was it King Roderick or Advisor Blackwood?

Suddenly, a feminine voice came through the door. It was her personal maid Ivora, and Lilith sighed in relief. Ivora asked from outside the door, in a worried tone. "Are you alright, my lady?".

When Lilith didn't respond, Ivora knocked again and repeated the question.

As Lilith took a deep breath, her voice came out in a croaky whisper. It sounded like the raspy, hoarse voice of an old woman on the verge of death. " I... am okay, Ivora".

Ivora was slightly startled as she noticed how Lilith was struggling to speak. "Are you sure, my lady... Do you need water_"

Lilith quickly cut her off, snarling in anger. "I don't need your pity, Ivora. Now get lost!".

Silence followed and then retreating footsteps, which made Lilith finally breathe.

Lilith knew she had to regain her strength fast. She reached under her bed and pulled out a small wooden box.

Trembling hands made it difficult for Lilith to open the box, but eventually, it creaked open. The elixir she was searching for was buried deep within old cloth wrappings and silver amulets.

As she retrieved the elixir vial, she felt another wave of exhaustion hit her. Her hands were trembling as she held the ancient bottle filled with different markings.

Lilith hesitated for a moment before lifting the vial to her lips.

With great difficulty, she gulped down the thick liquid. A few drops trickled from the corner of her lips as she drank greedily.

Lilith closed her eyes tightly, waiting for the magical elixir to take effect. At first, it was just a tingle in her fingertips and toes, then a warm sensation enveloped her whole body.

Slowly but surely, Lilith's wrinkled skin began to smooth out. The visible signs of wear and tear faded before Ivora's very eyes. Her thin wispy hair regrew to become long and lustrous.

Her once frail limbs started growing stronger, muscles bulging as she sat up straighter. The constant pain that had accompanied her aging frame all of these years was fading away with the passing of each moment, taking with it the feeling of being weak and helpless.

Lilith's emaciated face began to fill out again, her rosy cheeks giving her a youthful glow. All traces of weary lines that once plagued her were smoothened, replaced by vibrant energy that seemingly radiated from within her.

As Lilith opened her sparkling blue eyes, a sense of renewed power coursed through her veins. She felt more alive than ever before, ready to take on whatever danger loomed around the corner.

With newfound strength, she stood up from the bed and staggered towards the full-length mirror at the end of the room. As she gazed into the reflection staring back at her, she gasped in amazement at what she saw.

Before she stood a young woman with raven black hair cascading down her delicate shoulders. Her eyes twinkled with newfound energy and vitality. Gone were the wrinkles and sore joints - this was a woman renewed by magic.

Lilith couldn't contain herself as she cackled malevolently. It was time to take back what belonged to her- wealth, power, respect, and the kingdom.

No one would dare stand in her way, not even the last kin of Alexander! - Rhiannon.
